It was the company’s first large-scale Christmas buffet.
Tonight wasn’t as crowded as the previous night, and they had arrived early. This ti, Yan Xixi and a group of female colleagues fully utilized the "Buffet Strategy." Unknowingly, they found themselves completely following the sequence written on the card: fruits, fresh items, seafood, steak, and then ice cream. Finally, she couldn’t eat another bite. She slumped onto the table, watching her colleagues continue their feasting.
In the luxurious KTV suite, everyone gathered boisterously, vying to sing. The night drew them closer as they played finger-guessing gas, drank, and reveled in the lively atmosphere.
Yan Xixi played the "Murder Ga" with her colleagues. She was always cool and composed, making it to the end almost every ti.
It was during the height of the commotion that the door was pushed open.
A few colleagues who were singing karaoke went up to greet him excitedly, "Mr. Huang, what brings you here?"

She remained huddled in the corner, pretending to play with her phone, not daring to even breathe too loudly.
After three beers, Huang Xiaojue was happily mingling with this group of rookies. Seeing their boss was so approachable, personable, and quick-witted, everyone’s admiration for him grew. They vied to drink with him, play finger-guessing gas, and offer him toasts, and he generously obliged them all.

Everyone heartily agreed.
"Mr. Huang, are you joining us?"
Huang Xiaojue replied enthusiastically, "Sure, I’m in."
That colleague imdiately took on the role of host, "Okay, let’s all sit in a circle. Each person writes a secret on a slip of paper and passes it to the person on their left. Yan Xixi hesitated, her heart pounding with fear. If they all sat in a circle, Huang Xiaojue would have to be blind not to see ! But under the circumstances, she couldn’t just leave. But when she finally sat down and glanced to her left to see who was there, she froze. She was t by Huang Xiaojue’s gaze. He had clearly sat there intentionally!
However, he acted casually, his expression perfectly normal, as if he didn’t know her particularly well. He rely nodded slightly, just as he did with all new colleagues. He didn’t even make a point of greeting her specifically.
