Only two people remained in the office.
"President Qi... I’m going to leave first..." Hua Xiaomo didn’t say anything else. Her face flushed with embarrassnt, she prepared to leave in haste. She didn’t want to stay here another minute. She was desperate to go ho; oh, how she really wanted to go ho! She always felt uncomfortable standing here, feeling out of place, thinking she didn’t belong here.
"Hold on, pick up the things on the floor before you leave!" Qi Longbing said coolly.
So she thinks she can leave just like that, huh? This little devil really isn’t behaving well, is she? Well then, a little punishnt is in order, right? Even though he really didn’t want to punish her? But sotis, not punishing is too exhausting, making him feel too lenient.
Alright, he’s a big CEO after all. He’s not usually that easy to talk to, but these things depend on the person involved, don’t they? Yet, facing her right now, he always feels like he still wants to give her so chances, so he’s been nice to her.
Hua Xiaomo glanced at the docunts scattered on the floor. Fine, I’ll pick them up; it’s just a few pieces of paper. And he insists I pick them up myself! How irritating. This guy is really awful. Why doesn’t he pick them up himself instead of making soone else do it? Being ordered around like this is so annoying!
Hua Xiaomo bent down, stooping, collecting the papers that were strewn about on the floor.
The docunts were everywhere. Hua Xiaomo picked one from one side, then one from the other, crouching on the ground and continuously picking them up.
"Am I watching you?" Hua Xiaomo glared at him, hostile.
"You’re not watching ?" Qi Longbing mocked.
Interesting, isn’t it? This woman is obviously watching him but won’t admit it. Still, he didn’t particularly mind; he just wondered why she was looking at him but denying it!
Hua Xiaomo was so angry she was speechless. I wasn’t watching him at all, okay? I was just picking up docunts, and he actually said I was watching him—how strange!
"These ripped jeans are designed this way; they’re alternative fashion! Please, President Qi, don’t make baseless misunderstandings if you don’t know!" Hua Xiaomo retorted angrily. So now it’s my fault for offending his eyes?
"Forget it. I’ll sign these docunts, and then I’m leaving. Don’t stop anymore; I really don’t want to stay here," Hua Xiaomo said this decisively, but as she did, she felt a surge of annoyance. For so reason, she always felt like arguing with him. But she really didn’t want to argue anymore; she was a gentle person by nature. She truly didn’t understand why, whenever she was with this person, he made her so upset. She wanted to explode but couldn’t.
Once she made up her mind about sothing, she wouldn’t change it. Anyway, she wouldn’t do anything inappropriate, regardless of what he thought. She wouldn’t get involved with him in any way. She didn’t like him; she really didn’t like him at all. The one she liked was Brother Nong, wasn’t it?
Besides, Brother Long’s heart was so kind, and his songs were so good, weren’t they? She felt Brother Nong was so much better than the man in front of her!
She had t Brother Long at school. Although it wasn’t a real acquaintance back then, she already had a lot of affection for Brother Nong. She thought Brother Long was the type she liked. Brother Nong was so gentle and kind, and also very handso.
So, Brother Long was the one she considered her ’type,’ the one she fancied. Many girls admired him. But she also hoped to beco the type Brother Nong would like. That wasn’t sothing she could force, but she would try hard to do so, to make Brother Nong fall for her.
