When she ca out of the elderly ward, the elder did not forget to remind her, "Rember, young lady, if you want to date soone, co to grandpa."
Ning Wan didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, giving a perfunctory response.
She walked straight to Xi Mohan’s ward, opened the door, and walked in, but the scene inside made her pause in shock.
Right at that mont, in the ward, the injured man was still lying in the hospital bed, but beside the bed was a woman with half-undone clothing. From her angle, she could clearly see the woman’s body with a red bra and underwear after shedding her shirt.
Ning Wan’s first reaction was... Damn, what a great figure, that pair of breasts... must be a D or E cup, right?
Her second reaction was that she seed to have co at a bad ti, as if she had interrupted sothing intimate...
The person inside the ward seed to realize soone had co in as well. Imdiately, a woman’s scream was heard, followed by the sight of the woman scrambling to pull on her clothes from the floor, her face showing a mix of annoyance and panic at being caught.
Ning Wan’s face turned pale, and she regained her composure to simply say, "Sorry for the interruption," before turning around and walking out of the ward, closing the door behind her.
"Ning Wan!" She had just closed the door when a voice filled with anger belonging to Xi Mohan ca from inside, "Co back here!"
Ning Wan pretended not to hear, holding the packed food in her hand, her face looking sowhat displeased, but then she quickly returned to normal.
She lifted her foot, intending to go to the elevator, but after taking two steps she wondered why she was leaving.
If she left like that, what if people thought she left out of embarrassnt? Plus, she was there to bring dinner for that man.
However, considering what she had just seen, and noticing the thermos on the table beside the bed, it was probable that the woman had already brought Xi Mohan dinner.
With this thought, Ning Wan began to feel a surge of annoyance towards Xi Mohan. If soone had already brought him food, why did he call her over?
Just as she was about to find a place to sit down, the door of the ward she closed opened again, but it wasn’t the woman coming out, rather, it was a man in patients’ garb with a grim expression.
Xi Mohan, thinking that Ning Wan had already left, was surprised to see the woman standing a few steps away from the ward. He strode over, grabbed her hand, and headed straight back into the ward.
Ning Wan was caught off guard by this series of events. By the ti she reacted, she was already at the entrance of the ward. She imdiately tried to twist his strong grip off her hand, speaking discontentedly, "Xi Mohan, what are you doing? Let go of , damn it, can’t you talk properly? Can you stop being so physical? The man who was grimly dragging her into the ward suddenly stopped in his tracks, turned around, and glared at her with a dark look, his tone containing a bit of coldness as he narrowed his eyes at her and asked, "What did you just say?"
Whether it was the man’s overpowering presence, his ominous aura, or his icy voice, Ning Wan couldn’t help shivering.
But upon thinking that this wasn’t primarily her fault, her indignation returned, and with a slight laugh, she said coolly, "I didn’t know you were being so careless, almost getting it on right in the ward. You can’t bla for that... Damn it, Xi Mohan, what the hell are you doing, put down..."
Without any further discussion, the man gave her a ’princess carry’, startling Ning Wan so much that her little heart began to beat wildly, and she struggled to get down.
The man gave her a cold look and warned, "By all ans, keep struggling, but if you fall and hurt yourself..."
Ning Wan, "..." If you weren’t holding , would I need to struggle?
