Zheng Ji’s brows furrowed; the sacrificial ceremony hasn’t started yet, and so many things have already happened. Surely, soone is pulling strings behind the scenes, and it seems likely that Zheng Su is involved.
"Who is this Zheng Su?" Ye Shikai curiously blurted out, but was t with glares from everyone, especially Mo Changfeng. As an assistant invited by the Eldest Young Master, he should at least know who Zheng Ji’s competitors are...
"She is Mr. Zheng’s cousin, but also his rival." Ji Qian, the Eldest Young Lady of the Ji Family, was sowhat knowledgeable about the affairs of various Huaxia families, especially a prominent family like the Zhengs. She has even seen Zheng Su in person and is sowhat familiar with her character.

"Alright, let’s go," Ye Shikai signaled to Ji Qian, and the two headed towards the assembly point.

"So many people...are they all dead?" At this mont, atop a high point in Outer Suburb Mountain, Boss Xing’s face was serious. There was no interest in admiring the vast scenery.
"Yes, but we didn’t find any bodies," Poisonous Concubine reported, kneeling on one knee, "There’s no trace at the last contact point, as if deliberately erased."

"Boss Xing, it seems your task failed," Lii comnted faintly.
"This was rely a small test, just gauging the strength of mass-produced Lizard n. Dying is no big deal; as long as there are serums, hundreds or thousands can be produced," Master Xing appeared not to care at all, treating the death of sixty or seventy mutants like the loss of ants.
Boss Xing stressed a particular point, given Project HST’s ability to mass-produce, all that’s needed is manpower—and it’s rely the second generation. A third, fourth generation will soon follow, with power surpassing cultivators. "Less talk, hurry up," a Hidden Guard scolded. Though disgruntled, Ye Shikai remained silent, adhering to his current guise.

After over an hour’s travel, they finally reached the sacrificial site.
"Impressive," Ye Shikai marveled at the view ahead, resembling an ancient feudal lord’s tomb. This vast cetery, with its decoration, surely wasn’t cheap. Unexpectedly, such a grand necropolis exists in these remote hills, and it’s owned by the Zheng family.
