The side effects of sleep deprivation hit, and as soon as class was over, Cui Wenyan would lie down on the desk and sleep, having Wu Yihao poke her during class. Wu Yihao found it strange because Cui Wenyan usually paid great attention in class and wouldn’t possibly doze off afterward. It seed as though she hadn’t slept all night. However, rather than asking, Wu Yihao simply complied and poked Cui Wenyan awake as soon as the class bell rang.
Finally, it was ti for dismissal. Cui Wenyan shouldered her backpack and walked, sipping the yogurt Wu Yihao had given her.
Getting off the bus, Cui Wenyan finished the yogurt and was about to throw away the packaging when she noticed soone sitting atop the trash bin.
Don’t they mind the dirt? Why are they sitting on the garbage bin?
Cui Wenyan was about to ask but swallowed her words.
Because she realized that the person sitting on the trash bin had no shadow. More than that, the person soon began to float, aimlessly wafting across the street, gliding through pedestrians and vehicles.
Cui Wenyan imdiately understood that this was sothing only visible when her Spiritual Eye was open. It wasn’t a person at all but a wandering ghost here.
Without stopping to look at that drifting spirit, Cui Wenyan tossed away the packaging and hurried ho. Her heart was racing. Although she had prepared ntally for this, the sight of such a thing for the first ti still unsettled her deeply.
When she reached ho, she saw that soone sent by her ntor was already waiting at her door.
Why was she so sure it was sent by her ntor? Because the person’s appearance was remarkably striking—a trim, slender fra in a well-tailored suit, and handso features. Just standing there, he resembled a perfect picture.
"Ah, Cui Wenyan, I’m here to help you pack. My na is Dong Xiao," Dong Xiao said courteously.
"Ah, thank you." Cui Wenyan felt sowhat anxious, her mind racing, thinking how could she let such a gorgeous gentleman help her move?
"Boss said you only need to bring so personal belongings; all other necessities, clothes, computers, etc., are ready for you," Dong Xiao said. "Boss is waiting for you to have dinner together, so hurry up a bit."
"Okay, okay, Brother Dong Xiao, please wait here. I’ll pack quickly and co down." Cui Wenyan opened the door for Dong Xiao to wait in the living room. She went upstairs to gather her savings book, ID card, books given by Tianmiao, and a family photo, along with a few sets of clothes for changing, and hurried downstairs. The thought of soon seeing her ntor again made Cui Wenyan excited.
Dong Xiao drove, and Cui Wenyan sat in the back, holding her phone and looking at a contact na—ntor. After hesitating, she cautiously sent a ssage: "ntor, Brother Dong Xiao picked up, and we’ll arrive shortly."
"Okay, waiting for you for dinner."
Tianmiao replied almost imdiately.
Cui Wenyan hugged her phone, a satisfied smile appearing on her face.
The car finally stopped at a parking lot at the entrance to Antique Street. This street was famous, bustling every weekend. Many antique enthusiasts ca here to treasure hunt or see if they could find a hidden gem.
Dong Xiao helped Cui Wenyan carry her luggage bag to the entrance of an antique shop.
Everything Exists.
The na of this antique shop left a lasting impression upon first glance.
"Disciple, why are you standing dazed at the door? Co in quickly, we’re having hotpot tonight." Tianmiao’s pleasant voice ca from inside the shop.
Cui Wenyan snapped out of her thoughts and quickly followed Dong Xiao into the shop.
