After Tianmiao left, Cui Wenyan looked at the silver bracelet on her left hand, feeling like what had just happened was like a dream.
But as soon as she picked up the book, she knew that what had just happened was definitely not a dream.
Because her mind was extrely clear at the mont, and she could rember everything after just one glance at the book. Then those questions, after reading them, her mind imdiately combined the knowledge taught in the textbooks, and she imdiately had solutions.
Cui Wenyan silently looked at the score on her last exam paper, her mood quite complex.
No wonder her exam scores had always been so poor, and when she got ho, her parents didn’t mind at all and instead comforted her when she was upset. It turned out that they knew all along that sealing the Spiritual Eye made her stupid!
It was like a new world had been opened, more like a switch had been turned on, and Cui Wenyan felt that everything had beco simpler. She relentlessly started reading the textbooks from the beginning, imdiately searching online for related courses for things she didn’t understand, and then she understood.
Not until one in the morning, did Cui Wenyan rember that she should have done her howork first today, and also studied the textbook knowledge given by her master.
After finishing the howork, as soon as Cui Wenyan opened the book Tianmiao gave her, she got imrsed in a fascinating world, forgetting the ti.
When she snapped out of it, she realized it was already six in the morning.
Oh well, might as well not sleep and just go to school directly.
Cui Wenyan yawned, freshened up, cooked a bowl of noodles, quickly ate them, washed the dishes, and then left the house.
After arriving at school and sitting in her seat, right after she sat down, her seatmate Wu Yihao nudged her, "Cui Wenyan, let copy your howork."
Cui Wenyan said nothing, handing over her howork notebook to Wu Yihao. Her seatmate Wu Yihao was obviously used to Cui Wenyan’s silence, and after receiving the notebook, he buried his head in rapidly copying the howork. Wu Yihao’s grades were actually in the top five of the class, but he never did his howork, copying it every morning. Cui Wenyan’s grades were in the bottom fifth of the class, but she diligently completed her howork every day, although sotis incorrect.
"Huh? You actually got everything right today?" Wu Yihao said in surprise after finishing copying. He copied Cui Wenyan’s howork every day and would point out the errors to her so she could correct them. This had almost beco a habit, and the fact that Cui Wenyan got all the answers right today naturally surprised him.
Cui Wenyan glanced at Wu Yihao, saying plainly, "Are you done copying?"
"Hey, not yet, there’s still the English howork. I’ll buy you yogurt during the break." Wu Yihao copied Cui Wenyan’s howork every day and, in return, often bought her so snacks to eat.
"Oh." Cui Wenyan replied simply, with nothing more to say.
Wu Yihao, accustod to this, continued to fervently copy the howork. He finally finished copying all the howork before the first class.
In the class, Cui Wenyan was like a small invisible presence, with very little sense of existence. She often kept thick bangs, tied a ponytail, and was silent and friendless. During breaks and trips to the restroom, other girls would always go in pairs or groups, while Cui Wenyan was forever alone.
The class teacher knew Cui Wenyan was an orphan, so showed special care towards her. However, the teacher never ntioned her background, as she didn’t want others to look at Cui Wenyan with different eyes. Cui Wenyan was very thankful to her teacher for this and wanted to study well to repay her, but unfortunately, her grades always lingered at the bottom.
However, that won’t be the case in the future.
Being an underachiever, goodbye.
