Wu Yihao widened his eyes in disbelief and looked at Cui Wenyan: "Do you think we’ll listen?"
"Forget it, pretend I didn’t say anything." Cui Wenyan rolled her eyes. People are like this, unless they see sothing with their own eyes or experience sothing personally, they won’t believe it. It’s useless to waste words on them.
"Hey, Cui Wenyan, really? You actually believe that stuff? Hahaha, don’t tease ." Wu Yihao laughed out loud.
"Why do you think this villa complex was abandoned?" Cui Wenyan asked coldly.

Cui Wenyan, expressionless, was about to take back the peace charm.

"Alright, let’s go see." Liang Bing pointed to his backpack, "I brought a lot of gear."
"Gear?" Cui Wenyan was puzzled.
"Flashlights, DV, stun guns, they have snacks and beer in their backpacks too. There’s a big surprise; you’ll see later." Liang Bing said mysteriously.
Alright, Cui Wenyan didn’t want to ask anymore. Seeing how determined they were, she knew persuading them to leave was useless; they wouldn’t listen to her anyway, so she decided not to waste her breath.
Then five of them entered the villa complex.
By evening, the villa complex was eerily quiet; apart from the sound of the wind, not even a bird could be seen.
The group walked through the villa complex until they reached the other end’s wall. Due to a lack of managent, the brick wall was half-collapsed, overgrown with wild grass, dilapidated. Other than the overwhelming silence, there was nothing unusual.
Zhao Qian held onto her collar, shivering slightly, and whispered, "Maybe we should head back. We’ve co this far and found nothing. Plus, it’s getting dark."
"Yeah, let’s go back, we didn’t find anything. It’s all just weeds and broken walls, nothing interesting." Cui Wenyan agreed. She genuinely wanted to get rid of these people quickly. She still couldn’t ascertain the level of danger this mission held or whether she had the ability to keep them all safe.
