You can’t dismiss cross-class gear because, besides primary attributes, there are secondary attributes.
For example, clothing’s defense and magic defense, accessories’ agility, life value, and mana, weapons’ accuracy and attack speed, shoes’ physical strength and movent speed, etc.
If a set of armor has strong enough secondary attributes, it’s usable, especially in Lynn’s situation.
