"Does the Demon Emperor’s Armor for the Mage class work for you? Are you planning to use the magic staff to hit the demons?"

Ilya tilted her head in a rare display, showing a hint of the playful innocence expected of a young girl.

In the countless years of history within the Demon Realm, aside from those with a penchant for wearing the wrong attire, no demons wear the equipnt of the wrong profession. Everyone knows that doing so would render the already embellishing gear utterly useless.

The Guardian Demon God’s bestowed Guardian Demon Emperor Set may be a top-tier level 999 demon armor, but when it cos to its effectiveness for a warrior, it might not even surpass the level 750 Great Demon Armor, let alone the set of equipnt that her seven sisters have cobbled together for Lynn, which is at least level 900 and above warrior gear.

"Wouldn’t you replace the magic staff with a Heritage Magical Armor Weapon? Surely your heritage weapons aren’t categorized into male and female versions, right?"

Seeing Ilya like this, Lynn felt an urge to knock gently on her head. Despite being a rather smart Demon King, she looked so adorably silly at tis.

"Shall I notify the various worlds in the rear to bring over the Guardian Demon Emperor Set?"

Such an important piece of equipnt like the Demon Emperor’s Armor certainly couldn’t be sothing Ilya carries around. Each part of the set is worshipped in a Great World governed by the Guardian Demon God’s retinue. They could only temporarily notify the Realm Lords of those worlds in tis of need.

Luckily, those ten Realm Lords were initially coming to the Lower Demon Realm to provide support. Bringing an additional piece of equipnt wouldn’t be inconvenient.

After all, it’s the newly appointed Demon Emperor handpicked by the Guardian Demon God who needs the gear, and nobody could possibly refuse.

"Will it arrive in ti? The enemy demons won’t wait for us to be fully prepared before they attack."

Upon hearing about pulling equipnt from other worlds, Lynn felt it seed a bit unreliable. Based on his years of reading literature and watching films, villains often appear before the protagonist’s allies. If they dawdled along the way, the battle might be over before the gear even arrives.

"Impossible! Our borders are around the main Demon Realm, while they fought through nurous worlds, already far from the core Demon Realm. Our demons will definitely reach there first, with even enough ti to strategize."

To ease Lynn’s concern, Ilya reassured him confidently. Though their side’s strength is sowhat weaker compared to the Destruction Demon God’s faction... well, a lot weaker.

However, the Guardian Demon God faction focuses on world-building around the core Demon Realm, expanding outward, while the Destruction Demon God faction fights and destroys along a straight path, cleaving through all Great Worlds along the way. So in terms of distance, their demons would probably arrive first, possibly while the enemy demons are still en route.

"At the earliest by tomorrow, and at the latest the day after tomorrow, our demons should arrive. anwhile, for the Purgatory and Yellow Springs clans, even traveling day and night, they would at least still be five days away when returning to the Demon Realm."

Ilya was utterly confident unless the Purgatory and Yellow Springs clans got wind of the news and started heading back ten days ago, they couldn’t possibly arrive earlier.

Besides, ten days ago, Lynn hadn’t even made an appearance in the Demon Realm, let alone stirred any commotions or ascended the throne, so how could they have coincidentally received the news to return in advance?

Moreover, the news of the Purgatory and Yellow Springs clans returning was only received by her today. Communications within the Demon Realm don’t suffer from the massive delays like in the Miracle World. Even if the two clans had started their journey back a day or two ago when she received the news, their demons would still undoubtedly arrive first.

"The more confident you sound, the more it feels like setting up a flag. If your demons are expected the day after tomorrow, then I bet the enemy demons will definitely be here tomorrow!"

Lynn pondered with his chin in hand for a mont, then drew his conclusion out loud.

"If that’s the case, we would be caught off guard and suffer heavy losses."

Hearing Lynn’s assumptions, Ilya’s face changed slightly. Though she didn’t know Lynn’s basis for such statents, a Near God’s intuition definitely wasn’t sothing baseless or flippant.

"It’s you who would suffer heavy losses; they can’t do anything to ."

Lynn chid in with a smirk.

"Shouldn’t you help us then?"

Ilya frowned, questioning.

"That’s simple, call sothing nice to hear."

Lynn crossed his arms, then leisurely looked at Ilya.

"Sothing nice to hear?"

Ilya seed puzzled, her face full of confusion.

"Call sothing like sweet brother or dear husband. Didn’t you say you all are my wives?"

Lynn continued confidently with his arms crossed.

Ilya was initially stunned upon hearing this, then fell silent.

Lynn sneaked a peek, noticing no blush on her face. As expected of the Proud Demon King, all pride and no bashfulness, lacking a moe point that’s already beco a relic of a bygone era.

"Not gonna say it? Call sothing sweet, and I’ll help you... well, actually, even if you don’t call that, I’ll still help my wife, but I’d like to hear it."

Lynn said this as he spread his arms, showing a helpless expression. He wasn’t a demon to force a soon-to-be bride demon king to do sothing against her will.

"...H-husband!"

Whether thinking Lynn’s words were a strategic retreat or having been stimulated in so way, after a prolonged silence, Ilya suddenly yelled, face tightly drawn.

The shout was so loud it was likely heard even in the neighboring palace, let alone by Lynn, who stood rely an arm’s length away.

"Uh... alright."

Lynn responded blankly, watching Ilya’s face slowly regain its usual calm after calling him "husband."

Truly a sha, though she hesitantly and firmly called him "husband," Ilya’s face still didn’t turn red, just reflexively tightened.

She wouldn’t offer any shyness, and seeing her shy would perhaps be harder than single-handedly fighting a hundred Demon King Level warriors.

"The promise we made is definite. From the mont you fight for us, you’re the man of our seven sisters. Whenever you want us is for you to decide, but you... you must win. If not, we’ll die on the throne, and will never yield to the Destruction Demon God faction!"

"So, are you craving for us, the seven sisters? If you are, then you have to strive hard, or else you may not have many chances to enjoy it..."

With these final words, Ilya, in a sowhat awkward playfulness, poked her tongue out, trying to give Lynn so encouragent, albeit unconvincingly.

"That won’t do. My wives must grow old with ; there’s no ’it’s all over after a few tries’ notion here. Isn’t it just two hundred or so Demon King Level powerhouses? I’ll kill them all!"

Lynn said, his expression serious, his voice resolute and assured.
