In the end, Catherine did not bring up the matter of apprenticeship again, as if tacitly accepting the first option.

But Lynn did not feel happy because of this, for he knew that Catherine wasn’t so easily won over.

On the contrary, he had just narrowly escaped being won over by Catherine. Her pouting charm was extraordinary—Lynn would rather charge out and slay a dragon than endure her pouting.

Fortunately, she was probably a novice in this, still unfamiliar with her skills and lacking thickness of skin; otherwise, Lynn wasn’t sure he could withstand it.

Shortly thereafter, Marquis Jones personally drove over to pick up Vivian. He purposely didn’t co inside, just to avoid the embarrassnt of running into Xiya.

However, Vivian understood none of this and invited Xiya and Catherine along, saying their carriage could give them a ride.

So Marquis Jones watched helplessly as his daughter and the two "sisters" entered the carriage, leaving Lynn alone at the howling gate.

You know how to date...

Marquis Jones wished he could pull his daughter out for a lecture, but considering the "Prince" Xiya from the Elf Kingdom and the "Light Empire’s imperial niece" Catherine in Lynn’s ho, Marquis Jones had no choice but to hold his tongue, drive steadily, and wait until they returned ho for his wife to teach her how to be a good girlfriend.

After sending off the three wives, Lynn returned alone to the now quiet ho from one that was bustling.

Looking at the empty living room, Lynn did not feel lonely.

Compared to the days when he truly was all by himself, the peace after the noise could even be called warm.

In any case, Vivian was already on the bandwagon, Xiya was willing to give a chance, and although Catherine seed reluctant, hope was not lost.

Nearly having wives, and more than one, as well as an adorable and well-behaved daughter, what was there to feel lonely about?

"Not a single aunt stayed behind, Uncle Lynn, you’re so la!"

At that mont, a small round head poked up from the wall, looking at Lynn’s ho, cold and deserted, and imdiately expressed disdain for Lynn’s ability to retain people.

"Since no mom stayed to keep Daddy Lynn company, I’ll head ho, see you tomorrow, Nana."

At that mont, another small round head popped up on the wall, looking quite similar to the previous one, but unlike Little Yuna, who spoke without care, this little girl intended to return ho to add a little cheer, seeing her new ho so deserted.

With those words, Little Youli flipped over from the other side of the wall. The several-ter high courtyard wall seed like no obstacle to her, and soon she landed on the ground smoothly.

"Daddy Lynn, tell a story to put to sleep. Nana says you’re great at storytelling."

After landing, Little Youli ran up to Lynn, crashing into his arms, then looked up with big, watery eyes, full of anticipation.

"Alright, Daddy will tell you the story of Little Red Riding Hood."

Crouching down to pick up Little Youli, Lynn cheerfully carried her to freshen up, then took her to the bedroom next to his.

It was the room Lynn had prepared in advance for the child, all decorated in girly pink, looking fresh and lovely. He had also spent quite a bit of effort buying dozens of different stuffed animals to fill his daughter’s little room, ensuring she wouldn’t feel lonely even when sleeping alone.

Conditions were tough, but enduring a few more years, once Vivian and Xiya’s babies were born, there would be more little ones to play with Little Youli.

That night, Lynn stayed in Little Youli’s room for a long ti before leaving. The little girl listened attentively to the story, holding out till the story was finished before sleepiness overtook her.

Before leaving, Lynn kissed Little Youli’s forehead and then returned to his room.

The days after the crossing have been truly leisurely, a reflection of the current state of the Divine Protection Continent.

The Demon Race no longer initiates attacks, the frontline pressure is minimal, and the entire continent is relishing long-lost peace. It’s not just those like Lynn with beauty and money who are thriving; even the ordinary folk are living better than before.

On the surface, the Divine Protection Continent is full of vitality, with everything flourishing.

But in reality, on the war frontlines, even at this late hour, generals from various empires gather in the operations room of the Third Corps of the Divine Protection Alliance Army, studying ssages from the rear without rest.

"The situation of magical creatures mutating has been confird by three empires."

"Not only in the Light Empire, near the battlefront, but even in the Celestial Destiny Empire at the center of the continent, the magical creatures’ levels have increased drastically."

"This is the latest report from the Sixth Division’s scouts. In the nearest Demon Race Underground City, the top twenty floors have seen a significant promotion of demon race creatures, though the Demon Race seems baffled by the situation and hasn’t figured it out yet."

The deputy legion commander of the Third Corps read out intelligence gathered from various regions during the eting, and although only a day had passed, due to the perfect transmission channel that functions without transporting individuals, valuable intelligence is never delayed even across vast distances.

"I reviewed all the reports and discovered an issue."

"The rate of magical creature change is greatest within the Celestial Destiny Empire, escalating rapidly."

"On the other hand, in the Underground City closest to the Demon’s headquarters, while demons and magical creatures have improved, their advancent is minor, averaging less than a 5-level growth, whereas in the Celestial Destiny Empire, creatures have leaped over 30 levels, a surge in power."

"I suspect the problem lies within the Celestial Destiny Empire, sothing significant must’ve occurred there."

After the deputy legion commander finished speaking, the chief of staff also voiced his opinion, using current intelligence to deduce that the anomaly started in the Celestial Destiny Empire.

Due to a lack of intelligence, this theory cannot yet serve as a concrete conclusion, but the mutation of demon race creatures is of great importance—waiting for upheaval across the continent to trace the source might be too late.

"Have you noticed, along with the intelligence on magical anomalies in the Celestial Destiny Empire, there’s also a brief ssage? Its content seems insignificant, but the intelligence departnt’s assessnt of the person is intriguing."

At this mont, soone recalled an additional ssage in the Celestial Destiny Empire’s report, which at first glance seed like another of the Celestial Empire’s familiar quirks, but upon closer examination, it warrants investigation.

"Are you referring to that mysterious powerhouse Lenn, estimated by Duke Kant with a lower bound of 700 levels and an upper bound of 900 levels?"

A general from the Celestial Destiny Empire took up the topic, frowning as he ntioned his country’s antics.

"Exactly."

"A Saint Tier with a level of 700 is rare; as one of the Eight Great Empires, the Celestial Destiny Empire possesses fewer than ten such powerhouses and they are all on the frontline, so where did this Lenn co from?"

"Earlier I contacted communication officers from other major empires, none of the Seven Kingdoms has a high-level Saint Tier unaccounted for. This Lenn, whether the na is real or not, likely does not originate from the Eight Great Empires."
