The haggard look on her face made Bojing’s face marr with worry. "Are you feeling si-sick?"

"I am fine..." she lightly smiled.

Her gaze then fell upon the file Bojing held. Through the slightly transparent file cover, she read Wan Guanting’s na and froze.

"That..."

Shilin said, "We work for Dr. Yang Mingshen. We just returned from the hospital. You are Miss. ng from the crew, right?"

"Yes."

She tensely peeked at the file again. "Di-Did you find anything?"

"It’s our guess that there might be another person besides Chow y to want to harm Director Wan."

Her heart almost stopped beating. "H-Huh? S-sobody else?"

Bojing nodded. But before he could give a summary, Shilin smiled and intervened. "Yes. Did you know that Director Wan had hypertension?"

She looked taken aback. "Hypertension? No...I don’t know. Director Wan never ntioned it either..."

Shilin believed her. Her reaction was genuine.

"Do you know anybody else who would have known about it?"

She froze.

"Why do you ask...?"

"The knowledge about his dical condition played a huge role in his death. Sobody knew about it," he smiled. "Do you know who could be close enough to Director Wan for them to know about his condition?"

ng Rin tried hard to maintain her composure. But it was still difficult to find her voice.

"I..."

’Don’t forget what I said, okay? Stay out of trouble. Let things go as they are.’

Her daze broke when she sensed a movent faraway from the hotel’s Wing A building. She recognized Jia, Mingshen, Bai Caishen and Ke Yufei heading out.

"What are they doing out so late?"

"Hm?"

Bojing and Shilin looked back and noticed them.

"Oh! S-sis! Boss! Let’s go and et them. W-we wanted the m-et Boss anyway."

"Yes."

Bojing happily hopped away while Shilin walked a little slower, matching ng Rin’s pace. He glanced at her. "You look worried ever since we told you about soone else’s involvent."

Her heart jumped out of her chest. "Worried? I don’t know what you are talking about."

He said with a courteous smile, "For a talented actress I must say that you aren’t doing a good job in acting to be clueless."

She stiffened.

As they reached closer, Shilin whispered to her. "Hopefully, you do a good job now or that cop over there is very smart in sniffing out lies."

She saw his eyes ever so slightly twinkle in amusent. She cleared her throat and quickly looked away from his discerning gaze. She brought back her chirpy expression and hopped at Bai Caishen’s side.

"Bai Caishen!" She slipped her arm around his. "Are you here to call out for a late night date~?"

He smiled at her. "Sadly, no."

She pouted. "Party pooper."

Jia, who saw ng Rin coming, asked, "Are you okay, Miss. ng? Your eyes...looked really puffed out."

Her smile cracked. She could feel Shilin’s gaze at her as if saying, ’Told you.’

On the other side, Mingshen sneered in disdain as Bojing completed giving him his report. "That’s why you don’t challenge Yang Mingshen. He should retire if his brain cells cannot handle the extra load of investigation at this age."

"..."

"W-why are you out at t-this ti Boss?" He tilted his head and asked.

His face shone. "Apparently, my wonderful Spicy has decoded so super tough stuff about this murder case~"

ng Rin unconsciously squeezed Bai Caishen’s arm tighter as the words fell on her ears. He felt the slight pressure and lowered his gaze at her. Her fingers clenched his coat and her gaze looked disconcerted.

At the sa ti as Shilin was observing them, he asked Ke Yufei in a low voice, "Does she like Bai Caishen?"

Ke Yufei glanced up at Shilin and for a mont was srized by his beautiful face. He had indeed a cara-shooting worthy face.

"No. She doesn’t like him that way."

"Then Bai Caishen?"

"Sa. Not interested in her that way either."

Shilin paused and looked at him with interest. "How are you so sure?"

He shrugged. "Apparently, ng Rin is already seeing soone. It’s not sothing anybody knows. But she gets jumpy and fidgety when she gets calls from a certain soone. I noticed this a lot during shooting. She tries to hide sothing and my best guess is a secret relationship."

"I see."

Jia brought everybody’s attention back to her as she scowled at Mingshen. "I am not your Spicy."

Mingshen waved his hand in dismissal. "Don’t fret with the minor details~"

I should drown him in this pool tonight.

ng Rin asked with a tinge of hastiness in her voice, "What did Miss. Song has found out?"

"That Chow y is most probably not the killer."

Her eyes stretched wide and she trembled.

If Miss. Song could...if she could fi-figure it out then...

Jia asked Ke Yufei to show the pictures of that celebration night. She pointed at one picture and said, "There were two things found mixed in Wan Guanting’s drink. Sleeping pills and a nasal decongestant. Cold dicine in simple terms. It is argued that Chow y used sleeping pills to put Wan Guanting to sleep so that she could suffocate him later. But then what about the cold dicine?"

She then pointed closer and said, "Xin Manchu is seen here partially covering the top of the glass and it’s the sa glass that Wan Guanting used because only he used a cylindrical glass for scotch while the rest of you were drinking wine in wine glasses. So he slipped in the cold dicine when he thought nobody was looking. Or it could be the sleeping pills. That claim against Chow y hasn’t been proven yet. It could be either of the two."

ng Rin stared at the pictures.

"But there is an odd thing here. This is the last picture clicked at 1.51 AM around the ti you left. Here, the curtains of his balcony corridor are drawn."

She tilted her head. "But when we went into his room the next morning and till now, the curtains are partially open. Now Chow y did go inside his room but she really didn’t have any reason to open the balcony curtains, did she? Neither did the staff do it. So...the curtains should have been drawn the whole ti."

Bai Caishen thought about sothing and it struck him. "That clicking sound Yufei and I heard."

"Yes. That most probably ca from his balcony at the ti sobody was climbing in or out of it after suffocating him with the pillow," her eyes narrowed. "Most probably, Xin Manchu."
