Dragon King's Harem Chapter 341. Consequences
Viperax's eyes scanned the docunt, his brows furrowed slightly.
I watched his every movent, noting the tension in his body language.
Despite his evident displeasure, Viperax remained silent, his lips pressed into a thin line.
I t his gaze steadily.
"Is there anything you don't agree with?" I asked, breaking the silence.
I didn't want to prolong the discussion unnecessarily, but I needed to ensure that Viperax was fully onboard with the terms of our agreent.
Viperax responded with a disdainful snort. "No," he said tersely.
Without missing a beat, he motioned to his assistant, who handed him a pen. Viperax swiftly affixed his signature to the parchnt before tossing the pen aside.
"Done," he declared, his tone final.
But I wasn't quite ready to let him leave just yet. "Wait!" I called out.
Viperax paused, casting a sidelong glance in my direction.
With a casual flick of my fingers, I employed my telekinetic skill. The parchnt lifted from the table and flew towards .
I scrutinized the docunt carefully. Satisfied that everything was in order, I glanced up at Viperax.
"You are free to go," I stated calmly.
"Eir, escort him," I instructed, gesturing towards Viperax with a subtle nod of my head.
With a disgruntled snort, Viperax continued his steps.
Without a word, he strode towards the exit, his wives and soldiers falling into step behind him.
Eir and several royal soldiers moved to accompany him, their purpose clear... to ensure that Viperax made his departure without causing any further trouble.
I watched them go.
Despite the tension, I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief, knowing that our business was concluded.
Still, a small part of remained wary. It was the reason why I instructed Eir and the royal soldiers to keep a close watch on him.
Carefully, I rolled up the parchnt and securely fastened.
I used the Dinsional Ring on my finger.
‘Inventory.’
The ring responded instantly, its shimring surface glowing faintly as it opened a portal to my personal inventory dinsion.
I wasted no ti in sliding the rolled-up parchnt inside, watching as it disappeared into the depths of the dinsional space. I closed the portal.
The constant thuds and earthshakes started as Viperax and his entourage departed from our camp.
"Do you think he will keep the deal, Your Majesty?" Jyne finally asked.
I glanced at her, catching the flicker of concern in her eyes. "He has to," I replied firmly, my gaze shifting back to the now-empty space where Viperax's presence had just been. "Or he will face the consequences."
Jyne's expression softened, but her doubt remained evident.
"But the agreent... You forced it," she pointed out. "I'm afraid..." Her words trailed off.
I sighed. "Indeed, I forced him," I admitted, a wry smirk playing at the corners of my lips. "But he knows what I can do if he breaks it."
“Does this have anything to do with what happened when you 'kidnapped' him?”
She knew where I took Viperax with my portal and what my purpose was,
I had explained it to Eir, Jyne and Evelina before. But how I opened my portal and sent Viperax’s ultimate skill to his own capital was my spontaneous act.
That wasn't in the plan and that was the key to why Viperax didn't have much of a debate with after we returned to the tent.
