I let out a low chuckle. Smiling at Jyne, I teased, “Does the fruit manage to bring you back to reality?”
She nodded, her face still looking innocent and sowhat bewildered.
"Feeling better?" I asked softly.
Jyne swallowed the fruit and nodded slowly. "I... I think so," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
"You were miles away," I said, trying to coax a smile from her. "I thought I might have lost you to the void,” I joked.
"I just... I can't believe what I had done,” Jyne said softly, her voice gaining a bit of strength.
I reached out and placed my hand gently on her head, stroking her hair slowly.
“You just did a good thing, Jyne,” I said softly, my voice filled with genuine admiration. “No, you just perford a miracle.”
"I know. That's what surprised ," she admitted, her voice shaky. It was clear she still couldn't fully grasp what had happened.
"I an… I always think that… I can't do much other than playing around and making my family get a headache. But suddenly…" Her words trailed off as she looked down at her hands, her fingers trembling slightly. A sad smile grew on her lips. "I could revive the dead in ways that even I don't understand. I didn't even know I could do this, Your Majesty," she said, her voice wavering again.
"Like I said, it's a miracle, Jyne. The one who fights is not only us, but also that dragon. He might have almost given up but he changed his mind at the last mont. That is a good thing," I said softly.
