The sight of the brand-new equipnt was very impressive, especially the bedside X-ray machine in the trauma room, which made Liu Banxia even more satisfied.

The most critical factor in ergency rescues is ti. Now that they could perform bedside X-rays, they could save more than ten minutes. These ten minutes were extrely precious; at the very least, it allowed ti for an additional diagnostic test for an ergency patient.

He also toured the wards upstairs and found them quite good as well. They primarily consisted of three-patient rooms, each with its own private bathroom. If patient numbers exceeded capacity, beds could also be added in the corridors.

This is much better than the cramped wards in the Ergency Departnt. Those buildings are definitely getting old, Liu Banxia thought.

"Finished inspecting your territory? Didn’t you visit your new office?" Wang Chao joked.

"I did. Isn’t it still our common rest area? But this is a proper office now. Our dical records and other things won’t have to be piled up in the rest area anymore," Liu Banxia remarked with emotion.

"Right now, I feel like Granny Liu visiting the Grand View Garden; everything seems so novel and exciting. How was it this morning? Many patients?"

"Only four in total, so it made this place seem quite empty," Wang Chao said, shaking his head.

"Take it slow. Sooner or later, there will be so many patients that you’ll go crazy. You go on and familiarize yourself with the environnt. I need to speak with Doctor Qi," Liu Banxia said.

Wang Chao glanced at Qi Wentai, who wasn’t far away, and nodded.

"Sothing weighing on your mind?" Liu Banxia asked with a smile, walking over to Qi Wentai.

Qi Wentai looked at him without uttering a word.

"Rest assured. Old Qin is Old Qin, and you are you. His attempts to stir up trouble for are his own business; I won’t take it out on you," Liu Banxia said cheerfully.

"But Old Qin is truly petty. Did he lose a lot of money and get upset, so now he wants to give a hard ti? Otherwise, even with a complaint to the Health Bureau, they wouldn’t be pushing the issue so relentlessly, and the dical Affairs Departnt wouldn’t be cooperating with him so readily."

"You can think whatever you want. I gave him enough face last ti, but he didn’t appreciate it and even tried to undermine on the side."

Qi Wentai still didn’t say a word, but his expression beca much more awkward.

Even though his relationship with Liu Banxia wasn’t particularly amicable, Liu Banxia truly hadn’t made things difficult for him during his ti as chief resident. And he was aware of the situation regarding Liu Banxia being held accountable by the dical Affairs Departnt.

So, he felt genuinely awkward now. The current Ergency Center is truly brimming with talent. If an ordinary resident like him still behaved as he did before, Liu Banxia could probably find any excuse to replace him.

Having said what needed to be said, Liu Banxia didn’t prolong the awkward conversation and instead beckoned to Liang Xiaolin, who was nearby.

"What’s up?" Liang Xiaolin asked as she approached.

"It’s ti to handle the handover. Now that we have a proper cardiothoracic surgery departnt, I have to return you," Liu Banxia said earnestly.

Liang Xiaolin rolled her eyes. He thought it was such a big deal? Just for this?

She might not have cared, but Liu Banxia took the matter seriously and led her to Chen Xuehai’s office.

"Is sothing the matter?" Chen Xuehai asked, looking up from the patient record he was reading.

"It’s a small matter. Now that we have a proper cardiothoracic departnt, Doctor Liang should be handed over to you. If she keeps hanging around with , she’ll end up being swayed into general surgery," Liu Banxia said.

DING! Liang Xiaolin’s request task completed.

Obtained: 1,000 EXP, Dressing Change Skill 500, Suturing Skill 500, Diagnostic Skill 500, Glory Points 10.

Task Rating: Perfect.

Obtained: 1,000 EXP, Dressing Change Skill 800, Suturing Skill 800, Diagnostic Skill 800, Glory Points 10.

Congratulations! Host has leveled up to Level 42 (88,405/93,340 EXP). Received: Attribute Point 1, Glory Points 5.

Liu Banxia was a bit dumbfounded when the task rewards suddenly popped up. If it weren’t for these rewards, he would have completely forgotten about this task, let alone imagined the reward would be so generous.

"Actually, at this stage, it’s still better for her to continue interning with you all. When there’s a cardiothoracic surgery she needs to be on, I’ll take her then," Chen Xuehai said.

"However, so patients will also be transferred from the inpatient departnt later. Now that I’m working here, I’ll also need to move up the scheduled surgeries for so patients."

"That could work too. It just ans a bit more to manage," Liu Banxia nodded.

"Have you two had enough?" Liang Xiaolin asked, thoroughly exasperated.

"How else am I supposed to guide you? When have you ever listened to what I say?" Chen Xuehai said helplessly.

"So, just let Dr. Liu teach you regularly. The most I can do is teach you so surgical techniques. I daren’t say too much; what if it’s sothing you already know? You’d just find annoying then."

"That’s fine too. Participating more in ergency rescues will help her build a more solid foundation anyway," Liu Banxia nodded in agreent.

Liang Xiaolin was about to go crazy. What did they take her for? A soccer ball to be kicked around?

"That’s true. Dr. Liu, you’ll need to be extra attentive when our interns rotate through later," said Wu Xiaoyue, an attending physician from Cardiothoracic Surgery.

"You can rest assured a hundred tis over; there won’t be the slightest problem," Liu Banxia replied with a smile.

"Actually, the more people involved in rescues, the easier it is for us. In the future, I’m even planning to have them accompany ambulances on ergency calls. Performing ergency treatnt with limited dical equipnt is the best way to train soone."

"By the way, Dr. Chen, please send a copy of your night shift schedule later so I can use it for attendance tracking. There are so many people now, it’s giving a headache."

Chen Xuehai nodded. "Okay, I’ll email it to you later. If there are any changes, I’ll notify you in advance."

With that, this matter was considered settled. If not for so minor past conflicts, Liu Banxia wouldn’t have had to struggle so much with his words. The task of notifying the pediatrics departnt was left to Shi Lei. Liu Banxia had no idea what the hospital administration was thinking sending Chen Hongyang down.

"What’s wrong with you?" Liu Banxia asked curiously after they stepped outside.

"Nothing. Just angry," Liang Xiaolin replied.

"So, what else can be done? I can’t keep you all to myself, can I? You officially belong to the Cardiothoracic Departnt. Just get through this year, and once you officially graduate, you can follow Chief Director Li," Liu Banxia said helplessly.

Liang Xiaolin rolled her eyes again, deciding she shouldn’t bother talking to him anymore. Better to get acquainted with these new people. But she couldn’t compare to Liu Banxia. After just one tour, he seed to know everyone already.

This was, in fact, a result of Liu Banxia having spent three years at the hospital. Although he hadn’t perford many surgeries in the past, he had certainly been to many places within it.

At this mont, his phone received a ssage. It was from Zhou Shuwen, asking him to co to his office.

"Director, you were looking for ?" Liu Banxia asked.

"Has that complaint been resolved?" Zhou Shuwen asked.

"It’s been dealt with. It was just baseless clamoring; they’re always trying to find so fault with ," Liu Banxia replied.

Zhou Shuwen nodded. "Then you need to be more careful about your work thods in the future. A single oversight could be seized upon by others."

"In the future, our work hours in the Ergency Center and General Surgery will still overlap. We’ll continue with the old arrangent: you and Shi Lei will manage the ergency work, and you can call if you’re short-handed for ergency surgeries."

"As for these interns from General Surgery, rearrange their schedules to align with my surgery tis so they can observe a few of my procedures. The patients being transferred over are still technically General Surgery patients; this will just give our nurses more experience in their care."

"Okay, I’ll arrange that shortly," Liu Banxia quickly nodded.

"Alright, go get busy. There will be many more patients than before, so make sure to handle doctor-patient relationships well. Also, be considerate of interns from other departnts; don’t focus only on those from General Surgery," Zhou Shuwen said.

"Don’t worry. I’ll draw up a detailed rotation plan later to ensure they all get broad exposure. And when ergency patients co in, I’ll involve them as much as possible," Liu Banxia said.

Zhou Shuwen nodded in satisfaction, then returned to his paperwork.

This was the Ergency Departnt’s experintal standardized training thod. Although this year it was mainly interns, next year they would definitely recruit hospital-affiliated personnel and external hires.

Previously, training was implented sowhat broadly according to regulations, but now it needed to be ticulous. They had to track each individual to ensure comprehensive skill developnt with an emphasis on key strengths.

Such a training plan would be exhausting for the person in charge, as they needed to be constantly aware of each intern’s progress. With over 30 interns currently in the Ergency Center, it would require a great deal of effort.

Liu Banxia’s professional skills had already been tested and proven. His na wasn’t brought to the forefront rely because the hospital wanted to "create a star"; it was also because his accumulated surgical experience and patient prognoses had reached the required standard.

The next thing to observe was Liu Banxia’s managent ability. If he could excel in this area as well, then his future would be limitless.

Shi Lei is sowhat lacking in managent. His personality is a bit cold, much like my own. However, I have many accomplishnts to my na, so I can command respect. Shi Lei can’t do that yet.

The hospital lacks doctors, but it especially lacks doctors with managent skills.

A hospital doesn’t just treat illnesses and save lives; it also needs operational coordination within and between departnts. The Ergency Center is Chen Zhenxing’s current gamble, and it genuinely affects the futures of many people.

I can manage the Ergency Center’s overall direction and provide support for difficult surgeries. But when it cos to the details, I need an assistant. Currently, Liu Banxia is my choice.

It was my suggestion to bring Chen Hongyang down to the Ergency Center. Liu Banxia has already passed Qi Wentai’s test, and quite well. Chen Hongyang’s test is next.

In my heart, I also hope Liu Banxia can beco a good doctor, one with both integrity and ability. After all, the ultimate purpose of a doctor is to heal the sick and save lives.
