Chapter 1471: Reaching the end of the shadow labyrinth Chapter 1471: Reaching the end of the shadow labyrinth “Boom!” An explosion echoed through the dark corridor behind Cain and his group with such overwhelming strength that it shook the very foundation of the labyrinth.

Though the oppressive shadows hindered their senses, it wasn’t hard to discern what was happening.

The walls were collapsing, grinding against each other with crushing force, sealing off the path behind them and crushing anything too slow to run away.

“Goddammit!” The entire group cursed in unison, their voices sharp with urgency.

Without hesitation, they surged forward at their maximum speed.

It was almost ironic-this team of Peak Divine Transcendence Masters, beings capable of burning oceans, rivaling stars, and a life span asured in the hundreds of thousands of years, now found themselves fleeing from a collapsing maze.

The ground beneath them trembled with each successive explosion, and the sound of crumbling stone grew louder.

The labyrinth seed alive, closing in on them like a predator.

As they pressed on, frustration began to creep in.

The corridors ahead split into countless branches, each leading in different directions.

Without any reliable way to discern the correct path, they were forced to rely on instinct and luck.

However, it quickly beca evident that luck wasn’t on their side.

“We’re running in circles!” one of the group mbers hissed, their voice tinged with panic.

The constant turns and dead ends drained their energy and morale.

While exhaustion hadn’t yet overtaken them, the relentless pace and mounting tension were wearing on their focus.

And then, as if to prove their worst fears, Cain’s path abruptly ended in a solid wall.

“A dead end,” Cain muttered, his eyes narrowing.

Without a mont’s hesitation, he spun on his heel and dashed back the way they’d co, the rest of the group following close behind, not daring to leave his radiant halo of protection.

“Boom!” “Boom!” “Boom!” “BOOM!” The deafening sound of the collapsing walls was almost upon them.

The ground shook violently, threatening to throw them off balance.

Cold sweat drenched the group as they realized how close they were to being crushed.

Cain’s quick reaction saved them.

Just as the intersection they had co from began to collapse, he darted down the rightmost path, narrowly avoiding being sealed in.

The group slowed montarily to catch their breath, but the tension remained palpable.

Each of them knew how close they’d co to death.

If they had hesitated even a mont longer, they would have been trapped in the dead-end corridor with no way out.

Cain frowned deeply.

He knew they couldn’t continue relying on luck.

The labyrinth wasn’t just disorienting-it was actively working against them.

Yet neither his Ego Wave nor the [A.I.

Chip Module]’s scanning power could show him a clear route forward.

His mind raced for a solution until a realization struck him.

‘The radiation,’ he thought, his eyes narrowing with determination.

The constant waves of radiation flooding the citadel were an ever-present factor.

Logically, the correct path would lead toward the center of the citadel, where the radiation was at its strongest.

If Cain could identify the path with the highest radiation density, it would guide them to their goal.

Unfortunately, at each crossroad, the difference in radiation levels was so minute that normal senses couldn’t distinguish between them. But Cain had the [Sub-Atomic Analysis with Energy Manipulation].

This [A.I.

Chip Module] tool was capable of detecting even the smallest variations in energy density.

If it worked as he hoped, it could pinpoint the correct path.

It was a gamble, but with the collapsing walls bearing down on them, he had no ti to test the theory.

“System, calculate the path with the highest energy radiation.” Cain’s sharp eyes fixed on the upcoming crossroad.

If the system failed, a wrong turn would an certain death.

[Highest energy radiation detected: Left path.] Cain didn’t hesitate.

He veered left, sprinting down the corridor with unwavering speed.

The rest of the group had little choice but to follow.

Staying with Cain offered their best chance of survival, especially with the Flaming Shadows lurking in the labyrinth, waiting for an opportunity to strike.

As they raced down the left path, the collapsing walls continued their relentless advance.

The air grew heavy with dust and heat, each turn of the labyrinth seemingly designed to wear them down.

Tension gripped the group as they ran, their eyes darting nervously for signs of another dead end.

Relief washed over them when the corridor opened into another intersection.

While it didn’t guarantee they were on the right path, at least they hadn’t chosen a death trap.

Cain’s confidence grew with each step.

The [Sub-Atomic Analysis with Energy Manipulation] tool continued to guide them flawlessly.

The differences in radiation levels beca more apparent as they moved deeper into the citadel, and Cain’s pathfinding grew more precise.

The others, though grateful for his apparent ability to navigate the labyrinth, couldn’t hide the unease in their expressions.

‘How is he doing this?’ Elrick wondered, glancing at Cain with a mixture of curiosity and suspicion.

While they appreciated Cain’s help, his silence about how he was determining the correct path only added to the tension.

Cain, however, remained unfazed.

His focus was solely on the task at hand.

He had no intention of revealing his secrets, and the glowing determination in his eyes made it clear that he was fully in control.

As the group continued forward, the radiation levels steadily increased.

The oppressive energy forced them to channel more power into their barriers, further taxing their reserves.

Yet, despite the rising difficulty, it was a sign that they were nearing their destination.

After what felt like an eternity, a faint red glow appeared in the distance.

‘The end of the labyrinth,’ Cain thought, his heart steady but his grip tightening on the Spear of Doom.

The sight filled the group with cautious optimism.

However, before they could fully relax, Cain’s eyes sharpened as the Absolute Life Form System issued a new warning.
