Chapter 1494: Full on battle inside the tomb Chapter 1494: Full on battle inside the tomb Cain’s lips curled downward into an expression of mild annoyance.
“How botherso,” he thought, tightening his grip on the Spear of Doom.
Facing the fiery brother and sister in front of him would not be easy, especially given the intricate nature of his true allegiance.
Technically, he was part of the Night Prince’s forces and had helped organize this ambush.
However, the timing was everything.
If he revealed his true loyalties from the very beginning, it would certainly have an impact on the battle-yet not as significant as an attack launched at the mont the others least expected it.
He needed the enemy’s guard around him to be at its lowest for his betrayal to prove most effective.
Such a maneuver carried a great deal of lethality.
It also ca with serious complications.
As of this mont, only Diamon, the leader of the team, knew the truth of Cain’s covert position.
To all the other mbers of that faction, Cain was just another person they needed to kill.
Though the arrangent was dangerous, it kept Cain’s cover secure and was also a perfect way to convince Elrick and the others that Cain was on their side.
There was no turning back now, so he pressed on, focusing on the brother and sister before him while keeping half his mind on the broader battlefield.
“Inferno Smash!” the brother roared as he lunged toward Cain, flas dancing around his tightly clenched fist.
Waves of Star Power converged in the fiery aura, concentrating just above his knuckles.
At the last possible second, Cian twisted his body to the side and struck the man’s wrist with the Spear of Doom, deflecting the punch.
His eyes narrowed as a powerful shockwave burst forward, the heat so intense it practically incinerated the air around them.
Before Cain could seize the opportunity to mount a counterattack, a tear in the fabric of space opened behind him, revealing swirling embers that coalesced into dozens of small fireballs.
He had no choice but to pull away, flipping backward in one agile motion.
The barrage of flaming orbs crashed to the ground with enough force to leave scorch marks in their wake.
Just a short distance away, Elrick and Diamon were engaged in a clash that rocked the do with explosive force.
The Godslayer Human conjured massive mythical beasts composed entirely of fire.
Each creature dashed toward Diamon with frightening velocity.
Yet despite the devastating power of these flaming beasts, Diamon fended them off using his colossal battle axe.
The power of Diamon’s Soul Bloodline was so cold and formidable that it froze the fire before it could even touch him.
Elrick found himself constantly on the defensive, utilizing every ounce of his strength to stay one step ahead of the fierce, ice-charged battle axe swinging at him.
On the dod chamber’s floor, two golden figures clashed at incredible speeds.
One was Auron, whose body shimred with golden Star Power, and the other was a Deus Behemoth warrior who resembled a humanoid lion.
This lion-like Deus Behemoth had a tallic mane that sparkled under the harsh light and razor-sharp claws capable of cutting through solid steel.
Auron and the Deus Behemoth unleashed golden might with each strike-Auron harnessing the radiant energy of his own Star Power while the lion warrior channeled the might of his Soul Bloodline.
Their blows landed with resounding clangs and cracks, yet neither seed able to overpower the other.
Above them, another intense conflict played out on the do’s ceiling.
Moving with graceful precision, ra swung her sword to unleash arcs of milky-white sword light.
Opposing her was an Anima Machinarium warrior from the Night Prince’s team, using shadowy blades that appeared and vanished in the blink of an eye.
ra’s sword light overpowered the dark energy thanks to her powerful Concept, which enhanced each slash with bright, cutting radiance.
However, her adversary’s Laws allowed him to move with uncanny speed and skill.
He repeatedly vanished from her sight, erging in unpredictable spots to slash at her from behind.
Every ti she thought her sword light would deliver a finishing blow, the Anima Machinarium slipped away, avoiding critical harm.
anwhile, Soro and Koro-the Deus Behemoth brothers-found themselves locked in combat with two formidable opponents from the Night Prince’s forces.
One was another Deus Behemoth, an imposing figure who resembled a winged crocodile and wielded a spear.
The other was a Godslayer Human who brandished a massive hamr.
As the fight comnced, the winged crocodile man channeled a wind-based Soul Bloodline, generating cyclones around his spear that distorted the air, threatening even to tear at the very fabric of space-ti.
At the sa ti, the Godslayer Human unleashed a potent Gravity Star Power.
A nearly palpable gravitational field emanated from his body, pulling Soro and Koro toward him.
Whenever he swung his hamr, it sent out crushing gravitational waves, making it almost impossible for opponents to dodge.
Despite these formidable powers, Soro and Koro were far from helpless.
They supported each other with seamless cooperation, forging a defensive and offensive synergy that proved difficult to break.
The confined space of the do prevented the Deus Behemoth brothers from transforming into their full, massive forms.
Even so, they managed to grow to nearly ten ters in height, towering over their enemies.
Their Yin-Yang Soul Bloodlines harmonized perfectly, allowing them to create complentary waves of force that countered the cyclones and the gravity pulses.
They held their ground without giving their foes any chance to push them back.
With every passing mont, the battles grew more intense, and the do thundered with destructive power.
Both factions unleashed overwhelming techniques and secret trump cards.
Killing intent radiated in the air, thick enough that even a bystander would feel suffocated.
Weapons clashed against claws, and the temperature of the battlefield alternated between scorching heat and biting cold.
All the while, Cain remained acutely aware of the broader situation.
He gathered massive amounts of data in real-ti through the Absolute Life Form System and analyzed not only the fighting styles and abilities of the Night Prince’s warriors but also detected subtle shifts in their emotions and intentions, thanks to the Flow.
While fending off bursts of fla and sudden tears in space conjured by the fiery siblings, he took careful note of everything that happened across the do.
One detail continued to gnaw at him: from the mont he had stepped into this hidden domain, Diamon had never once looked in his direction. “Is there sothing I’m not seeing?” Cain wondered, his thoughts racing even as he parried another flaming strike.
