Chapter 1495: Cain make his move Chapter 1495: Cain make his move The ongoing battle inside the do grew fiercer by the second, and wounds were appearing on both sides-deep cuts, scorched flesh, and frostbitten limbs revealing just how rciless the confrontation had beco.

Elrick’s team fought desperately to fend off Diamon and his allies, who wielded their devastating powers with ruthless precision.

Each side struggled to gain an advantage, but the conflict remained at a standstill-until a decisive mont finally erged.

Diamon, the snow leopard-like Deus Behemoth, managed to close the distance between himself and Elrick with alarming speed.

His colossal battle axe bristled with frigid energy, a cold so intense it seed to warp space.

Driven by the might of his Soul Bloodline, he swung the weapon in a mighty arc aid straight for Elrick’s head.

Elrick raised his right hand, channeling his Fire Star Power in a frantic bid to shield himself.

At the last second, a strange golden talisman manifested and wrapped him in a radiant force field.

“BOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM!” An imnse explosion of ice erupted where Diamon’s axe collided with the fiery barrier.

The entire do quaked under the impact, and icicles ford mid-air before shattering like fragile glass.

Though Diamon expected his blow to cut straight through Elrick’s defenses, the radiant force field held, repelling even that overwhelming power.

Elrick was sent flying backward, tumbling end over end, but when he hit the ground, there were no visible injuries on his body.

Diamon snarled, flipping his axe to a more stable grip.

“Hmph.

So you still had a trump card saved, you sneaking bastard,” he spat.

His cold glare followed Elrick’s figure.

For a mont, Diamon paused, lifting his axe high with both hands.

“Bloodsoul Ice Age!” A horrifying blast of icy power surged from Diamon’s weapon.

The air cracked and howled under the onslaught as shards of glacial frost expanded outward in a spiral.

Simultaneously, Diamon cast a quick glance at the fiery brother and sister and then unleashed a swirling tornado of ice.

This whiteout enveloped the entire do, a blizzard so dense it dulled everyone’s vision and disrupted their other senses.

Cain’s eyes narrowed behind the curtain of snow, the golden light of the Flow glinting in his irises.

He noticed the fire-wielding siblings suddenly halt their relentless attacks, confusion flickering across their features.

With a single glance, Cain guessed they had received a ntal command from Diamon-probably an instruction regarding him.

‘So,’ Cain mused, ‘they know the truth now.’ A mont later, the siblings stopped harassing Cain entirely, silently stepping back as if uncertain what to do next.

Although they were clearly shocked, they heed Diamon’s orders. Cain understood Diamon’s intention without the need for words: the ti was nigh for him to enact his role in this elaborate sche.

Just as the swirling ice hid him and the siblings from view, Cain allowed that cruel grin to flash across his face.

On the other side of the do, Elrick’s face was locked in an expression of dread and exhaustion as he frantically scanned for an escape route.

The swirling ice and snow made movent treacherous.

His anxiety spiked further when he realized Diamon was barreling toward him again, intent on exploiting the montary lull in Elrick’s defenses.

Barely managing to focus, Elrick summoned a fiery tortoise-shaped construct to guard him.

The blazing creature rose like a living shield, its shell glowing red-hot.

Yet Diamon’s ice-fueled axe crashed through it almost effortlessly, shattering the flaming shell with one devastating strike.

Elrick lurched backward under the force of the impact, the radiant force field he had summoned earlier once again absorbing all the damage.

He was sent hurtling into the wall of the do, colliding with a dull thud. Diamon did not relent for a mont, diving through the swirling snow, his eyes gleaming with a predatory hunger.

He swung the axe again, determined to finish Elrick once and for all.

This ti, the weapon descended with enough power to split a small continent in two.

Elrick’s eyes were clouded with terror, but a crazy light appeared in them as well, and he would not just lie down and escape death.

However, before the man could do sothing suicidal, a black spear appeared in the path of Diamon’s strike, deflecting it with shocking force.

Sparks of frost-laden energy and fiery Star Power crackled at the point of impact.

Diamon staggered back, montarily losing his footing.

Elrick looked up in wide-eyed astonishnt, expecting to see one of his own allies, maybe Auron or ra.

Instead, he saw the man he had never truly trusted.

Cain stood before Elrick like a guardian, his body emanating radiant Star Power, his spear held in a steady grip.

Diamon’s features hardened in surprise, clearly not expecting Cain to interfere in this way.

Before the Deus Behemoth could shout or make any rash move, Cain addressed Elrick in an urgent tone.

“How are you holding up?

Can you still fight?

Will that force field last much longer?” Cain’s voice was sharp and concise, his stance confident.

He radiated the aura of a valiant hero, the type of warrior found in ancient legends.

Under any other circumstances, Elrick would not have answered those questions.

But at this point, he was too rattled and too desperate to do anything but respond.

“I-I can still fight,” he stamred, forcing himself upright.

“My force field can only hold for another few seconds before it goes down.” Cain nodded, his eyes flicking toward Diamon.

Though Elrick couldn’t see it, that quick glance was full of aning-an almost imperceptible signal passed between Cain and the Night Prince’s top enforcer.

Masking his true intentions, Cain turned back to Elrick, shouting loudly so that his voice carried over the raging storm of ice.

“I managed to push the two I was fighting away, injuring them enough to slow them down,” he said, half-shouting.

“But they’ll return soon.

We need to wound Diamon severely before that happens!” Elrick, ntally and physically exhausted, found nothing suspicious in Cain’s words.

His own desperation clouded his judgnt.

With a hoarse shout, Elrick unleashed another surge of power.

More flas erupted around him, licking at the edges of his battered force field.

Though the exchange of words seed to take so ti, it lasted only a fraction of a second amid the chaotic battle.

Almost imdiately, Cain and Elrick charged Diamon in unison, their energies flaring.

Crimson heat from Elrick’s flas and the Star Power of Cain rged, lting large patches of ice that had ford on the floor.

Rather than retreating, Diamon roared a challenge and poured every ounce of his Soul Bloodline’s power into his next move.

Waves of sub-zero energy pulsed from his body, freezing the air into razor-sharp shards of ice.

Oddly, he seed determined to avoid looking Cain directly in the eyes, even at this mont.

A trendous impact rocked the do as their combined strikes collided with Diamon’s power, generating a shockwave so intense it cut through the howling blizzard.

For a heartbeat, it appeared that Elrick’s team had turned the tables.

Then everything changed.

Elrick felt his protective aura sputter.

The radiant force field that had saved his life now began to flicker, its energy nearly depleted.

He expected the inevitable mont, yet he remained oddly optimistic. True, the loss of his force field left him exposed, but it seed their combined efforts had cornered Diamon.

Elrick’s lips curled into a confident smile.

He began to channel his most powerful spell, a blazing conflagration that would hopefully end this once and for all.

Yet in the very second he prepared to cast it, a sudden pain flared in his chest.

His eyes went wide in shock.

Instead of completing the incantation, he choked on a gasp.

Ti seed to slow as he glanced downward to find the gleaming tip of a spear protruding from his torso.

A gasp escaped his lips, blood spraying into the frigid air.
