"That is... unsettling."

The blood avatar's voice was deep and solemn, and this ti there was no pretense behind it. Cain genuinely felt the pressure bearing down on him.

While Mirena and her Royal Guard were capable of hunting Middle Alpha-Oga Overgod On Beasts, there was an imasurable gulf between those creatures and one that had reached the Late Stage. Worse still, once the Crown Prince fused his soul with such a beast, its power would climb even higher, reaching a realm that could devastate entire battlefields on its own.

The destruction it could cause was terrifying-perhaps even enough to disrupt the gestation of Cain's new body.

Cain shifted his attention to the last cocoon belonging to the Royal Guard. A complicated expression surfaced on his face.

He had been actively interfering with that cocoon's growth, deliberately delaying its birth. Using the souls and life force of Alpha-Oga Overgod On Beasts, he had nurtured it to a shocking degree, forcing its foundation far beyond what was considered normal.

"If I awaken him now," Cain calculated calmly, "he will already surpass Satan and Hades. But even then, he would still fall far short of what he could beco if allowed to complete a proper gestation."

The blood avatar turned back toward Mirena, a bright scarlet glow igniting within its hollow eyes.

"My lady," it said evenly, "you should investigate whether additional reinforcents can be dispatched. We have achieved remarkable progress, and it would be a great sha to lose everything after coming so close to the borders of Kalous City."

Although the Power of Chaos allowed Cain to subtly influence

Mirena's mind, he remained cautious.

If this had been the Power of Order, he could have simply forced his will upon her and bent her decisions to his desires. But Chaos

operated under different principles. It required resonance, alignnt, and consent-however faint.

Cain had already forged that connection, but it was delicate. Push too hard, and it would shatter.

Fortunately, his suggestion aligned perfectly with Mirena's own ambitions. The expansion of the Ocean of the Blood Sun had been an undeniable military success, and abandoning it now was unthinkable. She nodded to the blood avatar and imdiately began transmitting ssages back to headquarters.

Cain did not waste a single mont.

He redirected nearly all of his resources and attention into the Royal Guard's cocoon, accelerating its growth as much as possible. His own body could wait. If this threat was not resolved, none of it would matter.

Day by day, tension within the Ocean of the Blood Sun intensified. Reports from the northern battlefield continued to arrive, each one painting a more terrifying picture of the Crown Prince's advance. His overwhelming victories forced the Aztorus Kingdom's forces to retreat again and again, revealing just how formidable he had beco. Still, a sliver of hope appeared.

Reinforcents finally arrived.

A tall, slender Royal Blutlinie descended upon the battlefield, accompanied by an entire battalion of elite Blutlinie warriors-and two massive obsidian obelisks that radiated ancient, oppressive power.

Mirena's lips curled into a smile as she recognized the newcor.

The blood avatar materialized beside her, and together they clasped hands before nodding.

"Brother Kriz," Mirena said warmly, "I am delighted to see that they sent you."

"Of course," Kriz replied calmly.

He was thin but exceptionally tall, his posture rigid and commanding. Without sparing the blood avatar even a glance, he turned his gaze toward the Ocean of the Blood Sun.

"This is a critical asset to our war effort," he continued. "You have cultivated it well. We cannot allow such a resource to go to waste."

The way he spoke made his opinion abundantly clear.

To him, both the blood ocean and the Blood King were nothing more than tools.

Even so, Cain maintained the avatar's respectful deanor and received Kriz with deference. Only after the formalities were complete did Kriz finally turn his attention toward the blood avatar.

"According to our intelligence," Kriz said, "you are capable of

enhancing anyone within your boundaries."

"Yes," the avatar replied smoothly. "I can now maintain the enhancent for two hours on a single individual, or distribute that

ti among multiple recipients."

Kriz nodded once before speaking in a firm, commanding tone.

"I want to see it."

He was not asking-he was ordering Cain to channel his power into

him.

As for the risks, Kriz dismissed them entirely. Mirena had shown no adverse effects, and his arrogance ran so deep that he did not believe the Blood King capable of harming him even if he tried.

Cain was more than willing to oblige.

In an instant, vitality and energy surged into Kriz's body.

"BOOM!"

A pillar of golden force erupted around him, shaking the air itself. Kriz's eyes widened, and a broad grin spread across his face as he felt

the explosive increase in power.

"Excellent," he declared. "This power is indeed worth fighting for."

Cain inclined the avatar's head in gratitude.

That Kriz continued to view him as a re tool was irrelevant. In

Cain's eyes, Kriz, Mirena, and every other Blutlinie were worth far less

than that.

Without delay, Kriz and Mirena adjusted the battlefield formation around the Ocean of the Blood Sun. The two obsidian obelisks were

positioned at its center, forming a powerful defensive and

amplification array.

Although the arrival of reinforcents brought so reassurance, the tension soon returned.

The Crown Prince had finally stabilized the northern front.

With his enemies pushed back, he and his legion turned their full

attention toward the Ocean of the Blood Sun.

Seven days passed.

Then, at last, the forces stationed above the crimson sea felt it.

The Crown Prince was approaching.

The mont Sky Terror appeared on the horizon, an overwhelming

sense of dread swept through the battlefield. The colossal On Beast's re presence crushed morale. Its scales glead with terrifying resilience, and many of the lesser Blutlinie doubted their strongest attacks could even scratch it.

This was a creature that could slaughter them effortlessly.

Satan, Hades, Mirena, and Kriz all raised their energy to its peak as

they stared toward the approaching figures standing atop the beast's head.

An imnse, suffocating pressure descended upon the Ocean of the Blood Sun.
