"BOOOOOOOOOOOM!"

A cataclysmic explosion tore across the Ocean of the Blood Sun, hurling countless tons of blood skyward like a crimson storm. The shockwave rippled outward, shaking space itself. And that was only a single attack.

The once-roiling sea had beco a colossal battlefield, its violent radiance spreading across the entire sector. The thunderous detonations echoed so far that even the distant City of Kalous could feel the tremors beneath its foundations.

"Damn it!"

Kriz roared in fury as he stared at the massive demonic draconic entity looming before him.

His entire body blazed with golden light, layers of divine force reinforcing his defenses exponentially. Things did not end there, as his Ancestor Power also allowed every strike he landed to carry explosive might, shattering space and sending shockwaves through the blood ocean.

On top of that, the vitality and energy drawn from the Ocean of the Blood Sun further enhanced his capabilities, elevating the Royal Blutlinie's strength beyond his natural limits.

And yet-

It still wasn't enough.

Sky Terror was simply too powerful.

"If I could just reach the Crown Prince," Kriz growled through clenched teeth, "this would all be over."

His sharp eyes locked onto the figure standing atop Sky Terror's elongated neck. The Crown Prince of the Kalous Kingdom stood calmly, his presence anchoring the monstrous On Beast.

Kriz needed only a single clean strike.

If the Crown Prince fell, his soul fusion would collapse. Sky Terror would lose its guidance, its coordination shattered. Even if the beast continued fighting on instinct, Kriz believed he could deal with it once that terrifying enhancent faded.

But thinking was a luxury he didn't have.

Sky Terror opened its massive jaws.

A torrent of dark plasma spheres erupted forth, raining down upon the Royal Blutlinie like a falling apocalypse.

Not far from those violent explosions, Mirena fought with everything she had.

Her eyes burned with sharp, solemn resolve. Empowered by the Ocean of the Blood Sun, her cultivation had temporarily reached the very limit of the Middle Alpha-Oga Overgod Rank-yet even so, her opponent pushed her relentlessly.

Mirena faced Orfin, the Crown Prince's female companion and a Royal Blutlinie from the Dark Blood Kingdom. A long tail ending in a jagged bone spear swayed behind her, radiating lethal intent.

Orfin's battle abilities were overwhelming.

Her attacks carried ferocity and precision capable of wearing down even the strongest opponents. But that wasn't the most terrifying aspect of her power.

Her Ancestor Power.

With a surge of energy, Orfin created two identical copies of herself, each possessing roughly twenty-five percent of her physical strength. In effect, Mirena was fighting three enemies at once.

Though the copies lacked lethal killing power on their own, it was impossible to distinguish them from the real Orfin. They moved in perfect coordination, overlapping and switching positions seamlessly, drowning Mirena in confusion.

Mirena's gaze darted in every direction as the three figures circled her.

Suddenly, one of them appeared above.

A downward kick descended toward her head with blinding speed.

Mirena raised her left arm instantly to block while preparing a counter with her right. The impact landed-but her eyes widened.

The power was weak.

Too weak.

"This isn't the real one-"

Before the thought finished forming, a brutal kick smashed into her

back.

"-ARGH!"

Mirena scread as she was blasted through the air, blood spraying from her mouth. Her body tumbled violently, bones creaking under

the force.

Orfin imdiately surged forward to press the advantage-

But countless beams of blood energy erupted between them, forcing

Orfin to halt and evade. The attacks posed little threat to her, but they bought Mirena just enough ti.

Enough to regain control.

"If not for the reinforcent from the Ocean of the Blood Sun,"

Mirena thought grimly, wiping blood from her lips, "that kick would've

shattered my spine."

She clenched her fists and hurled herself back into the fray.

Elsewhere, Satan and Hades were faring no better.

They faced Gilgark, the male companion of the Crown Prince-a towering monstrosity of muscle layered upon muscle. His body bore countless scars, not from battle, but from what looked like deliberate

surgical modification.

Every blow he delivered sent Satan and Hades flying like ragdolls.

Gilgark relied on no deception or finesse. His combat style was pure, overwhelming strength.

Satan barely managed stabilize himself after taking a devastating punch to the chest. Flas erupted around him as he unleashed a raging inferno toward Gilgark.

But Gilgark charged straight through the fire.

Using his body as a battering ram, he smashed into Satan mid-attack, sending the Royal Guard hurtling away as bones cracked.

Before Gilgark could follow up-

Hades appeared behind him.

His claws slashed downward, carrying enough force to tear through Early Alpha-Oga Overgod flesh with ease.

Yet the mont the claws struck, Hades froze.

It felt as though he had struck countless layers of densely packed

sinew, fused together into sothing unnaturally resilient. The claws of the Royal Guard could only carve a shallow wound.

Hades' eyes widened, before a flash of enlightennt crossed

through them.

"His Ancestor Power?"

That was the only explanation.

The strange surgical scars covering Gilgark's body suddenly made sense-but before Hades could think further, Gilgark twisted with terrifying speed and drove a crushing blow into him.

Hades was sent plunging straight into the Ocean of the Blood Sun.

Among the battlefield, the only area where the Aztorus Kingdom was not being utterly overwheld by the forces of the Kalous Kingdom

was the clash between Prima Deity and ArchDeity Blutlinie. But even that struggle was aningless in the grand sche.

The outco of this war would be decided elsewhere.

And Cain knew it, yet he still focused on it.

Deep beneath the surface, the Scarlet King unleashed torrents of

blood energy. Massive crimson hands erged from the ocean, grabbing, crushing, and dragging Blutlinie into the depths.

One by one, they were captured.

Consud.

Cain needed every soul, every drop of vitality.

As he would need it if he wanted this battle to end in anything other

than disaster.
