Chapter 211: A Bit Unaccustod
Li Yan struck fiercely with the iron wrench. After Zhang Jing was hit several tis, the initial numbness faded, and his hand began to throb with pain. This forced him to step back. Zhang Jing sharply hit on his head; even though he was awake, he was only barely so, his consciousness not fully restored. In such a state, he wavered between clarity and confusion for a while. If well-utilized, he could speak so useful words.
"Why are you looking for Li Yan? Did I instruct you to find him?" Li Yan mimicked Li Yonghao’s tone, asking coldly. He was testing here, not perfectly imitating, but estimating from several etings that Zhang Jing only obeyed Li Yonghao, no one dared to use the sa tone against him, likely letting him mistake this dazed state.

Hearing his normal voice, Zhang Yurong slightly relaxed, albeit still anxious, "Don’t lie to ; are you really okay? The police went there and didn’t find anyone, even said I made a false report. Where did you go?"
"I simply found a chance to reach the car and drove away. You know I’m good at driving, they also chased . That’s why I wasn’t at the scene. But I’ve shaken them off, I’ll be ho soon!" Li Yan recited his prepared excuse.
From the call, Zhang Yurong sensed Li Yan’s calmness, lacking noisy commotion, seemingly peacefully driving, her confidence bolstered by his excellent driving skills, now truly reassured.
