When Yue Yao and Yurong ca back downstairs, they were both in their pajamas. Since they hadn’t changed into formal clothes, they ca down quickly.
"Miss Yu, if you have ti to co over, I apologize for the earlier discourtesy. Why not have dinner here tonight!" Zhang Yurong, in the role of the hostess, extended a polite invitation.
This was what Yue Yao had discussed with her earlier upstairs, asking her to display grace no matter what since everyone already knew their identities and she couldn’t appear weak. Of course, she knew the purpose of Yu Xiaodi’s visit, and since it was sothing she had asked for, she was polite and not in a confrontational, unwelcoming manner.
Yu Xiaodi reluctantly smiled and agreed. After they returned, the two of them sat up straight, very unnatural.
