Carson Flores smiled faintly, his expression calm.
"Gu Gongyou is my senior brother, and since you are his friend, naturally I should call you senior sister or elder sister."
Wynne Heath looked surprised: "Gu Gongyou is your senior brother, then who is your master?"
Carson Flores smiled and said, "Bank Austin."
Wynne Heath’s eyes sparkled with surprise: "Since when did Bank Austin have a disciple?"
Carson Flores replied, "More than eight years ago, I was a guest staying at the White Crane Immortal Sect, where I t a Primordial Spirit Incarnation left by my master, who then accepted as a disciple and I joined the White Crane Immortal Sect."
Wynne Heath realized: "So, the so-called inheritance left by Bank Austin is actually an incarnation of his Primordial Spirit?"
"Yes."
Wynne Heath nodded: "Alright, in terms of seniority, calling sister is definitely not an issue. What did your senior brother ask you to bring ?"
Carson Flores took out the token and Soulmirror Stone given by Gu Gongyou and handed them to Wynne Heath.
"Please wait a mont."
Wynne Heath, holding the two items, walked into another room, clearly to check the Soulmirror Stone.
After a while, Wynne Heath returned, and her once calm eyes now held waves of emotion.
"How is your senior brother now?"
Carson Flores replied, "I’ve only seen him once. He’s been in seclusion for three hundred years, but he seems well and energetic, and he ntioned he might soon break through."
Wynne Heath’s eyes lit up: "Middle Celestial Stage?"
"Yes!"
Wynne Heath was a friend of Gu Gongyou, and the White Crane Immortal Sect and the Northern Mystic Sect were not enemies, so Carson Flores did not hide anything.
Wynne Heath smiled with satisfaction: "He’s finally about to take another step forward; he has certainly paid a hefty price to get here."
Carson Flores was unsure of the relationship between Wynne Heath and Gu Gongyou, so he refrained from comnting.
After two seconds of silence, Carson Flores decided to take his leave.
"Sister Wynne, I have fulfilled my senior brother’s request, so I’ll be taking my leave now."
"Don’t be in such a hurry to leave."
Wynne Heath picked up a teacup and poured Carson Flores a cup of tea: "Since you call sister, you just can’t leave without having a drink, right?"
Carson Flores had no choice but to sit down and honestly hold the cup to drink tea.
The tea was naturally infused with celestial energy, a spirit tea, but Carson Flores drank it with mixed feelings.
The unfamiliarity was palpable, and sitting there felt slightly awkward.
"Did your senior brother tell you anything about our relationship?"
Carson Flores shook his head honestly: "He didn’t ntion anything."
Gu Gongyou had actually ntioned it, using two words to describe their relationship: "Old friends."
Carson Flores was unsure what kind of reaction telling a woman those two words might provoke, so he simply pretended to know nothing.
Wynne Heath looked at Carson Flores and laughed: "You’re probably guessing if we’re lovers, right?"
Carson Flores was embarrassed as his thoughts were guessed.
Luckily, Wynne Heath didn’t let Carson Flores remain embarrassed, and she spoke proactively: "We’re not lovers."

Carson Flores was a bit surprised by this.
Not lovers, then why did senior brother act so mysteriously?
Could it be unrequited love, or a secret crush?
Carson Flores’s curiosity was ignited, but he refrained from asking and simply listened attentively.
Wynne Heath exhaled: "He and I ventured together and got trapped in a Secret Realm for ten whole years before we managed to escape. We’re friends who’ve faced adversity together, and perhaps if we’d been trapped a little longer, we might indeed have beco lovers."
