Carson Flores, after listening to Wynne Heath and his senior brother’s stories from years past, laughed and said: "Since senior brother gave you this Token, it naturally belongs to you. Although you might not have use for it anymore, you can give it to a younger mber of the Sect that you like or appreciate."
Wynne Heath looked at Carson’s clear eyes and smiled, "Although he did indeed give it to , back then we had agreed to explore it together. We almost died for it at that ti, so we can’t renege on our promise."
Carson was slightly puzzled, "Sister Wynne, what do you an?"
"To fulfill the contract of those years."
Wynne Heath smiled, "Back then, we agreed to explore together afterwards. Now neither of us can go in, so why not leave it to you guys? You are his trusted junior brother, and I will find one more person. The two of you can team up to complete this Cave Mansion adventure. How about it?"
Carson’s expression was surprised, "Senior brother already gave you the Token for you to handle as you see fit, why not just give it to soone from your Northern Mystic Sect?"
Wynne Heath held back a smile, "I just said, since we made the contract back then, we should honor it. One should keep their word. What, you’re not willing?"
Carson laughed, "Of course not, such opportunities are rare to co by, why wouldn’t I be willing?"
"Then that’s settled?"
Wynne Heath decided straightforwardly: "Then it’s decided. Are you in a hurry on this trip?"
Carson shook his head, "Not in a hurry, I originally ca out to travel and gain experience, my schedule is quite free."
Wynne Heath nodded, "Then stay a few more days at Northern Mystic Sect. I will confirm the candidate on my side and let him find you."
Wynne Heath tossed the Token back to Carson, "You’d better keep this Token for yourself."
Wynne Heath spoke clearly, so Carson didn’t hesitate and accepted the Token readily, "Thank you, Sister Wynne!"
Wynne Heath laughed, "Call Sister Wyn. It’s less of a mouthful."
"Alright, Sister Wyn."
Carson had originally thought Wynne Heath was an old fla of his senior brother, but now realized it was just slightly off. Seeing his senior brother’s expression and tone, he figured there’s still so feeling there, unable to let go of Wynne Heath.
n, having liked soone and not getting them, it’s always a regret that’s hard to forget.
This Carson understood!
"Sister Wyn, may I ask, you were so close to becoming lovers with my senior brother, what ultimately stopped you?"
Wynne Heath chuckled lightly, "Is this sothing he wants to ask, or you?"
Carson replied, "It’s sothing I want to ask. He hasn’t told much. I’m purely curious, and if it’s inconvenient for Sister Wyn, just pretend I never asked."
Wynne Heath smiled, "Do you have a Daoist couple or lover?"
Carson answered, "I do."
Wynne Heath nodded, "Your senior brother is very good, upright and responsible, soone one can trust. However, whether people can co together sotis depends on destiny..."
Wynne Heath’s answer was quite vague, but Carson had a general idea.
It seems Wynne Heath didn’t have no feelings for his senior brother, but external conditions interfered, ultimately preventing them from being together.
Wynne Heath asked, "What’s your strength?"
Carson replied, "Mid Stage Earth Immortal."
Wynne Heath thought for a mont, "I will arrange for Luis Heath, third in the Immortal Ranking, to accompany you. How about it?"
Carson’s expression suddenly beca a bit subtle.
Wynne Heath asked confusedly, "Your expression... you don’t want to?"
Carson replied, "I heard that Luis is a very heavy killer, especially towards won. I only have Earth Immortal strength..."
Wynne Heath frowned, "Heavy killer, likes to kill won? Who said that?"
Carson answered, "On my way here, I happened to et Evan Foster from the Treasure Path Sect. He has a duel scheduled with Luis and ntioned it, though I don’t know if it’s true."
Wynne Heath furrowed her brow, "The Saint Heir from the Treasure Path Sect, soone with such status likely wouldn’t speak carelessly. Luis Heath, could he really be like that?"
Carson asked, "Sister Wyn, you don’t know?"
Wynne Heath shook her head, "I only know that Luis is one of the outstanding representatives of the younger First-generation Disciple. I don’t know his other matters, I initially wanted to find soone stronger to accompany you to avoid so dangers, but if it’s true, then he’s not a suitable candidate."
Carson breathed a sigh of relief if Wynne Heath had really insisted on Luis Heath accompanying him into that secret Cave Mansion, Carson would likely have had to refuse.
Traveling together, in an enclosed space, with strangers of vastly different strengths, who could guarantee they wouldn’t harbor ill intentions when faced with potential treasures in the Cave Mansion?
Luis Heath ranks third on the Immortal Ranking, and his real Combat Power is definitely at the Golden Immortal Level. After all, he ranks third among the True Immortals on the entire Heavenly Profound Continent, and is a young representative of the Northern Mystic Sect’s First-generation Disciples. Such a person, to say lacks powerful magical treasures and boundary-crossing abilities, it’s fundantally impossible!
Although Carson also has boundary-crossing abilities, he doesn’t believe he could withstand Luis Heath.
Who doesn’t have so tricks up their sleeve?
Luis Heath’s background, status, and surna all suggest he wouldn’t have fewer valuable items than Carson!
Soone like him, Carson definitely didn’t want to provoke!
