Capítulo 2303: Chapter 2303: You’re This Wary of —Afraid I’ll Seduce Her?
When Carson Flores and his companions arrived at the seaside dock, they imdiately saw the Ocean King.
Although it was Carson’s first ti seeing it, with just one glance he knew for sure that ship was the Ocean King.
Because it was enormous.
The entire ship was docked there like a fortress on the sea, and the surrounding cargo ships, which originally seed large, suddenly looked small and cute in comparison.
Selric Roth brought only one guard, a silent middle-aged man. The five people arrived in front of the Ocean King and found there were two gangways to board the ship: one for the regular cabin and one for the high-class cabin.
Carson curled his lips, isn’t this the VIP passage?

The group proceeded to have their tickets checked at the entrance and then followed the instructions to walk aboard.
The entire Ocean King was divided into six levels; the lower three levels were regular cabins, and the sixth level was the high-class cabin, while the fourth and fifth levels offered various entertainnt services like restaurants, casinos, dance halls, and such venues.
The entire sixth level was divided into the fore, mid, and aft sections, which were separate. Carson witnessed the entire delegation, including all the guards, settling into the fore section, which was the best spot on the whole ship.
Carson and his group’s location was in the aft section, and the rooms of Carson, Selah Ellison, and Ben Singleton were adjacent, with Selric Roth’s room just across the way, not far apart.
Carson was standing by the railing taking in the view when a group of people ca out of the staircase, and they were precisely the mysterious woman with the veil that he had seen at the inn yesterday.
Two maidens walked in front of the veiled woman, followed by two guards and a guard commander, making up a group of six people. They had four rooms in total: the guard commander and veiled woman each had their own room, and the two maidens and two guards shared rooms respectively.
Interestingly enough, these four rooms were right next to Carson and his companions, and the guard commander glanced at Carson and company while briskly organizing the room arrangents.
The two guards stayed next to Carson’s room, with the veiled woman’s room next after, then the maidens’ room, and the guard commander’s room was directly opposite the veiled woman’s.
The four rooms ford a diamond shape, with the veiled woman’s room encased in the middle.
The veiled woman noticed Carson and slightly paused, nodding towards him.
Carson was a bit surprised, returned the greeting with a smile but said nothing.
The guard commander first entered the veiled woman’s room, made a quick inspection, then ca out and instructed, “There must be soone attending and guarding the young lady’s room around the clock. You four, split into two groups, one guard and one maiden per group, switching every half day. Report any issue to imdiately.”
“Yes!”
After the guard commander finished his instructions, one guard and one maiden stood by the veiled woman’s door, while the other maiden helped her into the room.
The guard commander turned around, cupped his hands towards Carson and the others, and said, “This is my lady’s first ti traveling far, so she might be a bit troubleso. Please bear with us.”
Carson chuckled and said, “eting others while traveling is fate; you’re too polite.”
The guard commander introduced himself, “I am Oberon Foster. How may I address you all?”
Carson introduced everyone, noticing clearly that when Oberon heard that he and Selah were husband and wife, he seed to breathe a slight sigh of relief.
“What do you think he ans by that? Does he think that if I were single, I could just run off with his lady?”
Returning to the room, Carson thought of Oberon’s expression change earlier and said irritably, “He’s being too cautious.”
Selah covered her mouth with a soft laugh, “This shows you’re charming and appealing to won. That girl obviously grew up protected, with hardly any experience with n. With so much ti on the ship and being neighbors, as a guard, he’d naturally be worried about that unknown man charming her and making her fall for him.”
“Is it really such a big deal?”
Carson looked helpless, “That woman may look young, but it’s clear her cultivation isn’t weak…”
“For won, cultivation and whether they fall for a man aren’t directly connected, are they? A woman with imnse cultivation can still fall for a guy with little power and not much of a future in immortal cultivation…”
Carson reached out, holding Selah’s hand, and said with a sly grin, “You seem to be telling the story of how you fell for .”
Selah snuggled into Carson’s arms, laughing softly, “I’m nowhere near as powerful, plus when I t you, you had just entered the Earth Immortal realm. And look how fast you’ve beco a Great Land Immortal, with a realm like mine. In terms of combat power, I’m probably not your match anymore.”
Carson wrapped his arm around Selah’s slender waist, gently stroking, “Doesn’t that prove you have good taste?”
Selah gave Carson a sideways glance, playfully pressing down on his mischievous hand, “I still don’t know what I was thinking back then. You spied on , and I didn’t even kill you right away to silence you…”
Carson protested, “How can you bla ? I was there first, okay? You ca in and started undressing. I didn’t dare make a sound, hoping you wouldn’t notice, but who knew you’d still find out…”
