Selah laughed, "Stop it, we weren’t anything close to being a married couple at that ti. It was later, when faced with the Fla Dragon Ghost Bat, I got ambushed by it, and you saved regardless of your own safety—only then I started to change my view of you."

Selah leaned against Carson’s chest: "These past years I’ve been by your side, surely those few are envious, right? Once we find them, I’ll go into seclusion, leaving you to them."
Carson raised an eyebrow, "Seclusion?"
Selah nodded: "You’ve advanced to Great Land now, your combat power is incredibly strong, even capable of cross-boundary combat. You don’t need my help anymore, I’m just idle now. Perfect for peaceful cultivation to raise my skills. If I don’t improve, I fear I might beco just a trophy wife."
Carson laughed, "Well, it’s not about being a trophy; we’re family, and everybody’s safety is what matters. It’s normal for us to have varying levels of skill. Besides, I’m your man; protecting you is what I’m supposed to do. I can’t have you protecting my whole life."
Selah chuckled, "True, but I can’t hoard you all the ti either. I wonder if they’ve advanced to Great Land by now. It’s been so long; you should help them out, aim for everyone to advance to Great Land soon."
Carson sighed, "Yeah, it’s been nearly ten years since we parted. Ti flies, I wonder what they’ve beco now."
Selah gently consoled, "Perhaps their skills haven’t elevated much, but with Nico joining Azure Divine Sect, their safety’s assured, you don’t need to worry."
Carson smiled, "I’m not really worried, once we cross the Endless Sea, we’ll et soon enough. They might have already picked cave mansion sites, perhaps even built them..."
The two were chatting when suddenly they felt a tremor, followed by the loud blast of a ship’s horn.
The Ocean King had set sail.
Carson and Selah got up and went to the window, and sure enough, the ship was already moving, swiftly leaving the shore behind.
"Let’s rest for a while, then we can explore the ship for sothing fun."
"Okay!"
Carson held Selah and took a nap. When they woke up, the Ocean King was already out in the vast sea, no land in sight, only an endless ocean.
"Let’s go, ti to explore."
Just as the two stepped out, the door across opened, and Selric appeared in the doorway.
Carson smiled; how could this be such a coincidence? Clearly, Selric had heard their door and ca out.
"Roth, are you going for a stroll too?"
Selric laughed, "Yeah, staying inside is uncomfortable; I’m planning to play a few gas. Flores, where are you guys heading?"
"Just wandering around."
Carson replied, "This is my first ti on a ship, so I don’t know what there is to do, just planning to explore."
Selric glanced at Selah and smiled, "Why don’t we check out the gambling hall together? It’s still early for dinner anyway."
Selah smiled warmly, "Looks like so places aren’t quite suitable for ."
Selric laughed heartily, "There are indeed many places catering to single n, but Flores clearly isn’t that type, and besides, with Selah being so pretty, Flores wouldn’t even consider them."
Selah turned her face toward Carson with a mischievous smile, "Ho flower doesn’t sll as sweet as wildflowers, dear, don’t you agree?"
Carson was speechless, whether immortal or not, how could one answer such a question?
"What nonsense are you talking about? I’m with you, am I not? I don’t intend to go; even if there’s so curiosity, it’s purely about the ship’s anities, not a real desire to indulge..."
