Carson Flores left the camp with three won, returning to the Moon God Sect.
Samantha Tate looked back at the camp and chuckled, "Brother, you’re impressive. In the blink of an eye, you beca a high-ranking mber of the Dragon Mountain Sect, the Sect Leader’s junior disciple, and your master is the strongest in the sect. Who would dare to bully you now?"
Carson replied, "You also heard what the master said. If not for the calamity, how would there be such treatnt?"
Selah Ellison frowned, "Then what do you think yourself?"
Carson sighed, "I originally planned to wander freely, at least without constraints. But since all of you are working hard for this family, it would be irresponsible of to be too lazy."
"Besides, if I don’t agree to the apprenticeship, who knows what might happen in the future. If I join the Dragon Mountain Sect, I’m one of them. If I don’t, I’m an outsider. If a calamity truly arrives and they need to sacrifice an outsider to protect the sect, that’s a choice anyone would make."

Carson spoke sincerely. On one hand, he was motivated by Lilianna Norman and Selah Ellison’s decisions; on the other, Floating Cloud wouldn’t spare him just because he refused, as the matter concerns the safety of the Dragon Mountain Sect.
If you can’t beat them, then join them.
At least for now, the treatnt is quite high. As for future matters, they’ll be dealt with in due ti. If the calamity really cos, I’ll do my best. If my life is truly at risk, then I’ll flee.
After all, I’ve been escaping all this way; one more ti won’t hurt.

Outside Moon City, Ghost True Sage’s disciple Oisin Sinclair watched Carson and the others, squinting his eyes.

Carson nodded, "I’ve accepted an apprenticeship."
Lorvian Randall was taken aback, surprised, "Since when?"
"Just now."
Carson responded candidly, "I originally went to the Three Sects to et Elder Flowing Cloud, but I unexpectedly t Elder Floating Cloud again. He talked with about many things, in the end, I changed my mind and accepted an apprenticeship on the spot."

Carson said calmly, "My master ntioned that regarding the Sea Tide Pearl, you can choose not to participate in the combat and redefine the rules, even if all first-generation disciples opt out of the battle..."
"No need to change."
Lorvian Randall smiled, "Rest assured, the Sea Tide Pearl is for my use because I am the Saint Heir, not because I beca the Saint Heir due to the Sea Tide Pearl. Even without the Sea Tide Pearl, my combat power wouldn’t diminish. As for the Sea Tide Pearl matter, just pretend it never happened..."
