Since only one technique could be cultivated and it needed to be unique, Carson Flores would certainly not settle for less.
He was very interested in the Sea God Sect’s Will-Power Cultivation. If the cultivation technique had major flaws and couldn’t be corrected, wouldn’t this potential path be cut off early?
Floating Cloud chuckled, "You handle this matter yourself, I’m not going to interfere. If I find a suitable technique on my side, I’ll notify you imdiately."
Floating Cloud shared the sa thought as Carson Flores: Carson’s talent was limited. If he improved through normal cultivation, not to ntion anything else, even just overcoming bottlenecks could potentially stop Carson Flores in his tracks!
Will-Power Cultivation offered a unique path that could overco the bottleneck issue. Although Carson had joined the Dragon Mountain Sect, it didn’t an he had no chance to absorb Will Power for improvent. Wasn’t today’s matter an example of that?
In short, having a powerful Will-Power Cultivation technique at hand is always better to be prepared!
Putting aside future matters, with the Will Power at hand, wouldn’t it still require effort to breakthrough into a Great Land Immortal?
After discussing the cultivation technique, Carson couldn’t resist his curiosity and asked about the origin of these Sea God Commands: "The Sea God Commands belong to the Sea God Sect. Erion Yarwood and others are from the Black Demon Sect. How did they co to have so many Sea God Commands? Could it be they killed people from the Sea God Sect and seized them?"
Floating Cloud replied, "In this region, the Sea God Sect occupies so areas with a large number of believers. Erion Yarwood and others quietly killed the managers and seized their Sea God Commands."
"To gain Will Power, they usually capture the holders of the Sea God Commands, force them to publicly claim they are going into seclusion, then choose trusted people to continue managing the lands before killing them off. This way, they seize the nests and continue gathering Will Power with the Sea God Commands."
Carson Flores widened his eyes in shock, "Parasitic?"
Floating Cloud laughed, "It’s more or less like that. All they do is unspeakable – burning, killing, plundering. They commit every heinous act and move to a new area to start over every so often. They are a group of unknown roaming criminals hidden in the dark."
"Although they already possess enough power to establish their own sect, the resources they earn through legitimate ans are nowhere near enough to satisfy their appetites. Isn’t it faster to simply rob them?"
"If we hadn’t spoiled their plans this ti, all the guests coming to the Azure Divine Sect would have been robbed, and the sect’s treasury would have been emptied. This is by no ans a small sum."
"Every sect has its traitors. They find the traitors and then from the perspective of the traitor’s personal vendetta, they help the traitor deal with the sect, rob everyone, and empty the sect’s treasury. This is their common thod. Many sects, to preserve their dignity, won’t publicize it even if they are robbed. This is also one of their ans to hide themselves."
Carson Flores exclaid in surprise, "This group is quite resourceful, no wonder they can grow so large..."
Floating Cloud nodded, "Since this matter involves the Sea God Sect, we’re too lazy to expose the underbelly. Just killing them would suffice. Otherwise, just to say, should the Sea God Sect reclaim these Sea God Commands or not?"
Carson asked, "If all the Will Power in these Sea God Commands is absorbed, can one collect more from followers?"
Floating Cloud answered, "As long as they return to a certain range, the Sea God Commands can connect with the worshiped statues to collect Will Power. However, first, the collection rate is slow; second, if you continue to steal Will Power and are discovered by the Sea God Sect, you’d beco their big enemy with no justification."
Carson agreed with a chuckle, "Alright then, let’s just consider it a windfall and not expect more."
Floating Cloud laughed, "Right, that’s how you should think. I heard that the Sea God Sect’s headquarters has a Pool of Will Power and gives special rewards to those who make significant contributions, allowing them to cultivate in the Pool of Will Power for a certain period. Unfortunately, since you’ve joined Dragon Mountain Sect, as an adversary of the Sea God Sect, you probably won’t have the chance."
Carson’s eyes lit up, "Pool of Will Power?"
Floating Cloud explained, "The Sea God Commands require Will Power to be successively contributed. The Sea God, or rather the Sea God Sect Leader, as the top authority, controls a massive amount of Will Power, much like how taxes are collected from citizens nationwide, leading to the national treasury controlling a large amount of tax revenue for redistribution."
Carson joked, "Who knows, maybe one day I’ll sneak into an opportunity to cultivate in the Pool of Will Power."
Floating Cloud laughed heartily, "The probability exists but is pitifully small. However, whether the chance arises or not, cultivating a high-order Will-Power Cultivation technique is indeed necessary."
"I feel others might not cut it, but with you, there’s always an unpredictable variable. Who knows, maybe you’ll succeed?"
