Ma Hongtao complinted with a smile, “Of course not, everyone knows that Chairman Lin is quite an influential figure in the financial circles of Hong Kong, it’s based on ability, not luck.”
“Save the flattery, what are you really here for today?” Lin Chengren stopped Ma Hongtao’s smooth talk.
Considering Lin Chengren’s direct question, Ma Hongtao seriously responded, “I am not here on behalf of Tony, but for soone else.”
“Who?” Lin Chengren asked curiously.
“Liu Hun! Mr. Liu!” Ma Hongtao revealed the man behind the scenes to Lin Chengren.
“Liu Hun?! For him?!” Lin Chengren was utterly surprised by the revelation that Ma Hongtao was Liu Hun’s man.
“Yes, him. As the saying goes, a wise man submits to circumstances. I believe Chairman Lin understands Mr. Liu’s financial and influential power clearer than I, Ma Hongtao,” Ma Hongtao said to Lin Chengren.
“You… have always been Liu Hun’s man?” Lin Feng asked Ma Hongtao.

Liu Hun also cooperatively dived into Tony’s conspiracy, just when Tony was ready to reap the benefits, sothing unexpected happened.
Tony lay on the comfortable sofa in his office with a cigar in his mouth, watching several traders make a lot of money for him.
“Bad news, manager! The market is starting to panic! We’re being heavily shorted,” one trader suddenly said to Tony.
Tony blew out smoke, almost coughing, and stood up abruptly asking, “What?! What did you say? We’re being heavily shorted?! How is that possible?”

Before Tony could figure out what was happening, his own sche had not made any money, but instead, the money invested had already lost more than half.
“Manager, should we cut our losses now?” one of the traders suggested to Tony.
“Damn it! What nonsense are you talking!? If we exit now, how will I cover the losses?! Are you going to pay?” Tony roared irritably at the trader.
Hearing Tony’s roar, everyone fell silent; no one dared to contradict Tony. Tony paced back and forth in the office several tis, still not understanding what was going on, but eventually, he determined that this situation must be due to the overall market drag, and definitely not his own fault. His plot was seamless and couldn’t possibly go wrong.
“Buy! Buy it all! Take as much as I can stomach! Let’s see who dares to stand against !” Tony said to several traders, seeing them staring at him in astonishnt, he yelled impatiently, “Are you deaf?! Buy! Buy it now!”
The surrounding traders all knew that such a gamble was equivalent to a suicidal act, but, unaware of Tony’s sche, lacking Tony’s confidence, they could only obediently start buying on a large scale.
An hour passed, and things didn’t improve as Tony had anticipated, but instead worsened continuously.
“Damn it! I don’t believe this! I don’t!” Tony aggressively tore off his tie and kept commanding the traders to buy.
“Manager, our capital flow is depleted; we no longer have the capacity to continue buying,” a trader reported to Tony.
“Ridiculous! Could I possibly be out of money?! Could the Williams family possibly be out of money?!” Tony glared fiercely at the speaking trader and shouted, “Imdiately move money over from the bank in Britain! Right now!”
