Energy levels surged as the friction between them sparked bursts of electricity, the protective light shield around the arena trembled violently, prompting several High Tier rank mages on standby to appear from various angles and channel their mana to contain the destructive shockwave generated by their combined energy inside the light shield.

After about thirty seconds of struggle, both combatants were sent sprawling backwards by the explosion of their attacks.
Alec twisted mid-air, soaring off the light shield before repositioning himself to land in the center of the stadium.
The resounding impact of Alec’s and Dragov’s bodies slamming into the ground was enough to rouse those who had thought Dragov already had the victory secured, as Alec struggled to rise, he felt the drain of casting such high level moves continuously, as he could already feel his mana dwindling to critically low levels.
Opposite him, Dragov had reverted back to the second stage of his Bloodline transformation, as he was unable to maintain the third stage due to how fast it was depleting his mana.
Though he had returned to the second stage of his bloodline transformation, but his dragon scales now lacked the shine and luster they had once displayed during his initial transformation.
Alec also noted Dragov’s exhausted state, and as Dragov got to his feet, he decided to finish the fight with a brawl, sensing that they both had little mana left.
Seeing through Dragov’s intentions, Alec smiled and extended his hand toward him as Dragov attempted to close the distance.
