Now reading: Chapter 789 - 789 The Move from The Golem Mage, a Action novel by mystic dark.

789: The Move 789: The Move Alec knew that if things continued like this, they might tire out before defeating the massive Mid Rank zombie army, that was why he was determined to take a different approach, and his first move was to eliminate all the Tier 6 zombies which would give the other human mages a chance to get the advantage.

However, he still couldn’t figure out how to draw the kind of attention he needed.

With Titan and Legion cutting through the battlefield in search of Type 2 ntal zombies, it was only a matter of ti before another wave of Tier 6 zombies was sent after them, yet, despite their relentless rampage, none had co so far.

This made Alec think, perhaps the number of Tier 6 zombies was already limited, and the enemy couldn’t afford to send more, because if they did, they would risk giving the human Tier 6 mages a chance to counterattack.

It also seed that the Type 3 ntal zombie was unwilling to relinquish its dominant position.

From Alec’s observations, he realized that this particular ntal-type zombie always sought to maintain an advantage, even if it ant relying on sheer numbers, now that it was acting more cautiously, limiting its actions instead of making rash decisions, Alec concluded that it feared sending more Tier 6 zombies.

The reason was clear, Legion and Titan had already wiped out a combined total of fifty Tier 6 zombies.

That brutal display had served as a warning to it that if it should send another wave of Tier 6 zombies against those two monstrous golems, there was a real chance they would fail again.

And if that happened, the Mid-Rank zombie army that had been holding the battlefield with an advantage would suffer a devastating blow from the City guardians that have been enduring all this while for a small spark.

Should that occur, not only would the zombies’ chances of losing increase, but their army would also take an irreversible hit in numbers, this was sothing the Type 3 ntal zombie had never anticipated it would have to even think about when it erged from the space gate.

Numbers had never been an issue for the zombie race when they fought, but for the first ti, the Type 3 ntal zombie found itself wondering if its army could sustain its losses before retreating to the Abyss, or if they would be left in a tattered state.

As these thoughts swirled through its mind, it ca to a conclusion.

‘The unique mage sitting atop his wolf mount in the distance, watching the battlefield while surrounded by his golems, that mage was the key.’

The ntal zombie knew it would never forget that face, in fact, every mage bearing the sa family emblem as him had inflicted significant damage on its forces, but among them all, Alec was the most important.

The ntal zombie had already devised a plan to eliminate him, it had previously sent a Strength-type Tier 7 zombie to take him down, but unfortunately the Third Elder of the Gordons clan had intercepted and slain the creature when they crossed paths in the air clash.

That unexpected interference made the ntal zombie curse its luck, as its plan had once again been foiled by another mage from the sa infuriating clan.

“What an unfortunate encounter, send another one.

He must be killed by all ans, this ti, send both an Agility-type and a Hunter-type Tier 7 zombie, and block the two High rank mages wearing his clan emblem so they are too occupied protecting themselves to intervene.” The ntal zombie commanded, this ti he had given the order to the agility type beside him instead of the strength type that was leading the high rank zombies

With that order given, two streaks of light shot out from the high-rank battlefield, heading straight for the mid-rank battlefield.

However, the mont the Fourth Elder of the Gordons clan who was now free saw this, an ominous feeling washed over him.

He had no doubt that Alec was involved in whatever was happening, without hesitation, he dashed forward, determined to stop the Tier 7 zombies before they could reach Alec.

But as the Fourth Elder moved, he caught a flicker of movent from the corner of his eye, a shadow closing in fast on him, without hesitation, he adjusted his grip on his weapon, shifting his spear from a piercing stance to a defensive block, positioning the shaft across his chest just as a long blade thrust toward him.

His quick reflexes saved his life, but the sheer force of the impact sent him hurtling through the air, as he crashed onto an unoccupied section of the battlefield, landing firmly on both feet with a grunt.

Looking up, he imdiately recognized his assailant, the Peak Tier 7 Agility-type zombie, one of the three who remained beside the Type 3 ntal zombie all this ti.

“Damn it, I was right.

This definitely involves Alec, and they’re deploying a peak powerhouse just to keep from helping him.” He muttered, realization hitting him like a hamr.

As he processed the situation, his eyes flicked toward the air, as two streaks of light hurtled toward the mid-rank front lines, just where Alec was far from, but then, another golden light surged after them.

The Third Elder had finally broken free from his opponent and was now in pursuit.

However, almost as if on cue, the Hunter-type zombie abruptly turned back, intercepting the Third Elder before he could intervene.

anwhile, the Agility-type zombie accelerated even further, streaking toward the mid-rank battlefield at alarming speed.

Alec, watching all of this unfold, narrowed his eyes, he had suspected the Type 3 ntal zombie would send Tier 7 reinforcents earlier, likely aiming to eliminate Titan and Legion, but now, seeing how the Agility-type zombie completely bypassed their position, the truth beca clear.

“So that’s your ga, take out, and the troubleso golems fall with .

Good plan… but do I look that easy to kill because I command golems?” Alec murmured, a smirk creeping onto his face.

His aura flared as his resolve solidified, he patted the side of his massive wolf, Midnight, his voice steady and determined.

“Midnight, let’s do it.

Boys, spread out.

We’re taking down a Tier 7 lifeform even before Titan and Legion officially does..”

NOTE  though Titan and Legion have killed demonic beasts with Tier 7 prowess in the beast forest but it’s still Tier 6 demonic beasts not Tier 7)
