Chen Ping shook his head, "This, we need to figure out the reason to know."
After speaking, he looked at Ling Feng, "You also need to hurry up, has there been any news from Yu Linglong these past two days?"
"I guess she might be busy absorbing the energy from the Spirit Stone," Ling Feng replied.
Ling Feng gave a wry smile, stood up, and said, "Alright, I’m going ho."
Chen Ping nodded, "Okay, when the things you requested arrive, I’ll let you know!"
After leaving Longyuan, Ling Feng went straight ho, by which ti it was already late at night.
Upon reaching the doorstep of his house, he saw that the light was on inside. He paused for a mont, forgetting whether he had turned it off before he left, and then stepped into the room.
To his surprise, he found Zhou Yi sitting at the bedside, reading a book.
Ling Feng was startled, then smiled and asked, "What are you doing here?"
Zhou Yi didn’t answer but looked up at him, "Just got back from Longyuan?"
"Yeah, are you here to see about sothing?"
Ling Feng nodded and sat down to ask.
"Nothing much, can’t I co to see you without a reason?"
Zhou Yi put down the book in her hand and asked with a half-smile.
Seeing her expression, sothing clicked in Ling Feng’s mind, and he grinned as he leaned in, just about to claim her lips, but Zhou Yi pulled back, "Stop fooling around!"
"Uh..."
Ling Feng was stunned, having thought she ca over to be affectionate, but it seed that was not the case.
So scratching his head, he cheerfully asked, "What’s the matter, then? We haven’t had any intimate contact yet, is that truly not why you ca to see in the middle of the night?"
"Tsk, what’s on your mind all day long?"
Zhou Yi glared at him and handed over the book she had been holding, "I ca for this!"
Ling Feng took the book and saw it was a thread-bound volu, with pages that were sowhat tattered and seed quite old.
He flipped through it and saw it was written in seal script, which he could not recognize at all, so he looked up and asked, "What’s this?"
"Do you rember, I told you there was a treasure around here?" Zhou Yi asked.
"Of course, wasn’t that the reason you ca here in the first place?" Ling Feng inquired.
"Yes, but I’ve been held up for so long, I haven’t really ventured into the mountains!" Zhou Yi sighed.
Ling Feng laughed, "Venture into the mountains for what? Isn’t the Stonemarrow already found? Do you think there’s sothing else here?"
Zhou Yi looked at him, and suddenly her expression beca serious, "Still trying to hide it from , huh?"
"Huh?"
Ling Feng was puzzled, ", hiding sothing? What are you talking about?"
"Qian Qian already told , that God Slayer Saber of yours, you got it from the mountain, right?" Zhou Yi looked into his eyes and asked seriously.
"Oh, that," Ling Feng said, realizing, then continued with a smile, "It’s true! I wasn’t keeping it from you, just forgot about it. Speaking of which, I haven’t looked at that map in a very long ti!"
"Now’s the ti to study it, especially since you’re not busy lately!" Zhou Yi said.
Seeing that this was the case, Ling Feng could only nod and got up to rummage through the cabinet, finally pulling out the map he had printed earlier.
When he and Xun Qianqian had ventured into the mountains, they had only covered a small part and hurried back before having a chance to explore further. The delay had caused nearly half a year to pass.
Observing Zhou Yi studying the map seriously, Ling Feng beca curious and asked, "Why are you so interested in it? Do you know there’s another treasure?"
"Of course, I’ve spent years collecting and organizing information for this. Who would have thought, the map would end up in your hands!" Zhou Yi looked up and said.
"Really? What are you looking for?" Ling Feng inquired.
"I’m keeping that a secret for now!"
Zhou Yi didn’t even look up, seemingly imrsed in the map.
Seeing her marking the map, Ling Feng leaned over to take a look, "What’s this for?"
"I need to adjust our route. Once it’s set, we’ll set off tomorrow morning!" Zhou Yi said.
Slling the fragrance of her hair, Ling Feng felt sowhat speechless and asked with a bitter smile, "Is it that urgent?"
"Aren’t you in a hurry? Have you forgotten about the need to increase your strength as soon as possible?"
Zhou Yi lifted her head and glared at him.
Their faces were only a few centiters apart. Looking into her distinctly black and white eyes, Ling Feng swallowed, "It’s quite urgent, but once we enter the mountains, I’ll be too busy for so things!"
"The Earth will keep spinning without you!"
Zhou Yi gave him a cold look and continued to study the map.
Ling Feng: "..."
His words made sense, and Ling Feng agreed, nodding, "Alright then, once you’ve got the route planned out, we’re good to go!"
"There are seven points now, but four of them are fake, nothing there. The key ones are these three..."
As Zhou Yi spoke, she continued marking the map, but Ling Feng wasn’t listening—his attention was captivated by her hair.
He wondered what kind of shampoo she used; its unique fragrance was very soothing, gradually making him lose himself.
Zhou Yi, annoyed by her hair falling in the way, brushed it behind her ear, unaware of Ling Feng’s distraction as she kept talking.
When Ling Feng caught sight of her translucent earlobe, he couldn’t help but swallow again, making a gulping sound in his throat.
Zhou Yi paused and looked up at him, "Didn’t you finish your al?"
"I did eat, but now I want to eat you!"
Ling Feng chuckled mischievously, wrapped his arms around her waist, and lifted her up!
Zhou Yi hadn’t recovered from her shock when she was pushed onto the bed, and she was speechless!
While struggling, she asked annoyed, "Is this the only thing on your mind all day?"
"Not at all, but since we’re already at this point, and I haven’t conquered you yet, I feel like I owe you!"
Ling Feng said this, panting as he kissed her.
Zhou Yi was really speechless, pushing him hard, "Cut it out, I’m not in the mood today!"
"But I am!"
Ling Feng, holding her hands, pinned her down on the bed and said earnestly.
Zhou Yi could have struggled fiercely, but she didn’t, instead looking at him helplessly, "Are you serious?"
"Yes, I want you to be my woman!" Ling Feng said.
Zhou Yi bit her lip, "Can you wait a bit?"
"Wait? Why?" Ling Feng was astounded.
Zhou Yi’s gaze flickered, and she lowered her lashes, "I’m not convenient these days!"
Ling Feng: "..."
The two remained in their positions, a standoff.
A few seconds later, Ling Feng, sowhat exasperated, said, "I don’t believe it!"
After saying that, he reached down to check, leaving Zhou Yi completely stunned, frozen in place!
Ling Feng was also astonished because she hadn’t lied—it really was an inconvenient ti!
Consequently, Ling Feng lost all his enthusiasm, collapsing onto her with a face full of frustration, "Why does it have to be now?"
