"An amateur!?"
The suppressed voice could not hide the overwhelming anger, Thutmose had never been so furious.
Even when Thoth appointed him to join Hers Secret Society, Thutmose still felt honored.
But this ti, all Thutmose felt was boundless humiliation.
Because Thutmose could tell that Aten was sincere when he said those words.
The opponent wasn’t intentionally mocking or provoking; he was simply stating what he believed to be a fact.
This was undoubtedly more intolerable for Thutmose than any deliberate insult or sneer.
"Do you think you’ve already won?"
Thutmose, with a bird’s head and human body, wings on his back, growled lowly.
No one would doubt Thutmose’s resolve, especially as he pulled out a dark Bible from the Void.
It was a Bible compiled from the fur of unknown creatures.
A book, opening which, countless undead and demons wailed in agony—a Book of Death.
Seeing Thutmose draw out the dark Bible, Aten, who had remained calm, finally showed a hint of surprise.
"Is that... the flesh of God?"
"Is your Divine Pantheon that insane?"
"Daring to create such a forbidden book using the flesh of God?"
Gods differ from ordinary creatures; they are genuine high-dinsional entities.
What appears before mortals is rely an incarnation of the Gods; their essence is an unobservable high-ranking Gods.
However, upon the dark Bible, Aten distinctly felt the true divine presence.
This ant the Ancient Egyptian Gods had stripped away a part of the true divine essence—the high-ranking Gods—and used it to create this Bible imbued with mysterious powers.
"You’re also researching the Gods, aren’t you?"
Upon hearing this, Batis retorted in fear.
"That’s not the point now; the point is that’s the true ’Book of the Dead’!"
"It’s said to be made from the extracted corpse of our original Creator—Atum, containing forbidden knowledge, the Death Bible."
"Back then, it was Thoth who beca the Netherworld Judge with this book!"
Listening to the conversation between Aten and Batis, Thutmose suddenly laughed cruelly.
"You’re not mistaken, this is the ’Book of the Dead’!"
"Father lent the ’Book of the Dead’ to ensure I complete this mission smoothly."
"With this book in hand, I can kill even Gods, let alone a re insect!"
As if to confirm his words, Thutmose suddenly started chanting an unknown spell.
Whoosh!
In an instant, the Nether Realm dispersed by the Sacred Beetles was revived.
Accompanied by painful wailing and desperate screams.
Indescribable entities tried to crawl out from the "Book of the Dead".
These were the Gods killed by Thoth, imprisoned within the "Book of the Dead" as Divine Abominations.
The "Book of the Dead", crafted from Atum’s flesh, retained the powers of these Gods, allowing them to be commanded even in death.
"Can you handle these Divine Abominations?"
At so point, Batis stealthily approached Aten and asked.
Now Batis was rely a Genie, no longer possessing her forr divine Power.
Not to ntion, even at her peak, Batis had no confidence against Thutmose wielding the "Book of the Dead".
"If necessary, you can either ask other Gods in this world for help or make a wish to !"
Batis’s voice was sowhat grave; she clearly didn’t believe in Aten’s ability to continue creating miracles.
Ultimately, Aten forcing Thutmose to use the "Book of the Dead" with just a mortal body surpassed Batis’s expectations.
Batis was certain Thoth hadn’t anticipated Thutmose would use the "Book of the Dead" against a re mortal.
The "Book of the Dead" was Thoth’s trump card given to Thutmose, specifically to combat the Gods of this world.
Now used prematurely, it wouldn’t achieve any surprise victory later.
"I certainly can’t handle so many Divine Abominations..."
Aten cast a peculiar glance at Batis, before suddenly changing his tone.
"But who said we must deal with all those Divine Abominations?"
Before Batis could grasp Aten’s aning, next his lively tendrils suddenly pulled out a golden... pocket watch from underneath his shell?
A pocket watch radiating pure golden light, like the sun.
Just like the Sacred Beetles.
Batis imdiately recognized it as a Divine Power Crystal.
The difference was its structure was unlike any Divine Power Crystal Batis had seen.
In other words, this golden pocket watch wasn’t a variant of the "Sun Gear".
"What is this?"
Batis swore her question was purely instinctual.
Yet Aten’s explanation truly redefined her understanding.
"Batis, have you heard of ’ti’?"
Looking up at the Divine Abominations continuously crawling out of the "Book of the Dead", Aten’s voice was unperturbed.
"The essence of ti is a form of movent, a relative movent."
"When a thing’s movent with the outside world isn’t synchronized, the resulting sense of difference is what’s called ’ti’."
"Rushing water crashing against immovable rocks is ti."
"A creature observing various changes in different substances is ti."
"Then the question arises..."
"If the entire world’s matter and energy stop or maintain synchronous movent, would ti disappear?"
After a slight pause, Aten continued.
"My answer is... yes."
"At least in the eyes of common organisms unable to perceive these changes, when matter and energy stay in relative states, ti ceases to exist."
"In other words, ti is actually a man-made concept."
"At its core, it’s simply ’movent’, relative movent between different things."
Blankly watching Aten, Batis understood his words but couldn’t grasp his aning.
"What are you trying to say?"
Facing Batis’s query, Aten rely smiled faintly, then pressed the golden pocket watch’s hands.
"When we accelerate an individual’s ’movent’ alone until completely detached from the outside world..."
"Then in the individual’s perception, ti equates to slowing down, even pausing."
