Mar-Du controlled the yellow tune to float towards Sol, who was slowly drifting down from the air.
Mar-Dule was unable to keep calm, and he blurted out.
"Sol, that’s so cool! Have you really gotten rid of those flas?"
Sol smiled and nodded. He then went to say sothing, but he suddenly stopped and took out his Disciple Token jade slip from his storage ring.
After reading the ssage that had just co in, Sol’s body jolted. A relieved expression spread across his face as he clenched his Disciple Token and placed his fist against his forehead.
"What happened?"
Sol turned to Mar-Yue, who had just spoken, and said with an excited grin.
"Brother Yoon-Jae just sent a ssage. Headmaster Young-Hwa received the Deep Autumn Flower and has started curing Little Zeel’s Aether Poisoning!"
Mar-Yue was happy to hear that, but she said disheartened.
"If I weren’t trying to hide it from father by having soone discreetly leave using a slower Spirit Treasure, then it could have arrived sooner."
Sol shook his head.
"It’s okay. However..."
Looking down at the Disciple Token in his hand, Sol asked in curiosity.
"How is it possible that I can receive ssages inside this dinsion so easily? It wasn’t the sa for the Hundred Plants and Herbs dinsion."
The yellow rune reached Sol, and he landed on it.
Mar-Du then explained.
"The formation covering the entire dinsion was created by ancestor Mar-Tu to keep the dinsion intact, as well as keep the fire from spreading outside. However, there is a similar formation that encapsulates the entire Eternal Desert that bolsters that one. With both being connected, it’s not a surprise that it’s possible to send and receive ssages while inside."
"So there’s a formation covering the Eternal Desert? I didn’t sense anything."
Mar-Du suddenly smiled in amusent and said.
"If you can sense a formation created by soone as powerful as ancestor Mar-Tu, then I’ll truly beco terrified of you."
Sol blushed upon hearing that, and he realized he sounded quite arrogant just now.
Of course, runes and formations created by Immortals weren’t sothing he could see through with his limited knowledge. That’s even with his Heavenly Eyes activated.
Mar-Dule suddenly piped in at this mont.
"Wait, Father, then all those tis you left when the Eternal Desert trembled, is it because of this formation?"
"Hm, those tremors were the formation reacting to the Divine Flas inside the dinsion. Even after so long, they seed to have a mind of their own and would flare up to complete what it was set out to do."
"What’s that?"
Mar-Yue asked, and Mar-Du slowly responded.
"Destroying our Barbarian Race, or rather, our Giant Race."
Mar-Yue and Mar-Dule couldn’t help but shiver upon hearing that. To think all those tis their father left, those flas were threatening their entire Race.
Seeing that he had scared his kids, Mar-Du smiled and said reassuringly.
"There’s no need to worry, with the flas now extinguished, we’re no longer in constant danger. Thank you, Sol."
Mar-Du turned to Sol, who waved his hands and said.
"It was nothing, there’s no need to thank ."
Mar-Du shook his head and said solemnly.
"If you think about it, your actions today have saved our entire Barbarin Race. But not only that, it’s thanks to you and Senior Little Abdu that we’ve obtained our Blacksmithing Legacy."
"Not to ntion ancestor Mar-Tu’s bloodline!"
Mar-Dule suddenly chid in, and Mar-Du nodded.
He was currently staring at Sol with an intense look in his eyes.
Sol was like a lucky star who had brought an overwhelming amount of good fortune to their Barbarian Race. As the Tribe Leader, Mar-Du couldn’t find the right words to express his current emotions.
However, his heart sank when he thought about how he had tried to shoo Sol away after he seduced his daughter.
Mar-Du ground his teeth. If he could, he would go back a few hours to give his past self a couple of slaps to make him open his clouded dog eyes!
’Imagine if I had really separated both of them?’
Cold sweat drenched Mar-Du’s back, and he imdiately shook his head to get rid of those frightening thoughts.
Sol smiled awkwardly and scratched his cheek when he saw Mar-Du’s strange gaze.
Seeing Sol’s awkward smile, Mar-Du realized he was acting too strange. After coughing in his fist, he smiled and said.
"If I had known it would be this easy for you to extinguish the flas, then I would have teleported us to the center of the dinsion rather than the outskirts. It will take a lengthy period to reach the center if we traverse the dinsion like this."
Suddenly, Mar-Yue’s eyes lit up, and she scooted behind her father before jumping onto his back and wrapping her hands around his neck.
Mar-Dule’s actions were the opposite of his sister’s. His face went pale before he took a step back.
"Ah, you guys can go on ahead. I’ll travel alone!"
Mar-Du chuckled in amusent when he saw this before he grabbed his son just as he was about to leap off the yellow rune. He placed him under his arm before he grabbed a clueless Sol and did the sa.
"Everyone ready?"
"Ready!"
Mar-Yue yelled in excitent, but Mar-Dule’s face was getting gloomier and gloomier.
Before Sol could ask what was about to happen, the yellow rune below Mar-Du started to dissipate. But just before it fully dissipated, he took a step forward.
Sol imdiately felt his head spin, and all his organs started to shake. That included his stomach, and it churned. He had to forcefully suppress the urge to throw up.
Sol was so focused on this that he didn’t realize they had suddenly arrived on a mountain. He had managed to stop himself from throwing up, but Mar-Dule wasn’t so lucky.
Mar-Du released his son and allowed him to violently throw up off to the side.
Mar-Yue, who was completely fine, glanced at her brother and roared in laughter unfitting of a refined lady.
Mar-Dule felt extrely indignant, but he couldn’t voice it because he was constantly throwing up.
Mar-Du let Sol down, and Mar-Yue paused her laughter to turn to him.
"Are you okay?"
Sol took a deep breath and nodded.
"It gets better after the first ti, don’t worry."
Mar-Du said, patting Sol on the back. He then glanced around to observe the surroundings.
The mountain they were on was devoid of any trees, but there was a faint feeling of the Wood Elent in the surroundings. A faint layer of grass was covering the ground as well.
"We’ve already passed the first line of flas and entered the second Safe Zone, but even so, the flas had burnt away any vitality in the area."
Mar-Du’s gaze was on the other mountains, and as it turns out, this mountain was in a way better condition than its neighbors. Only barren and scorched mountains were visible as far as the eye could see.
When Sol heard that they had already reached the second Safe Zone, he was so shocked his heart sped up a little.
