When Sol was crossing the Eternal Desert with Yoon-Jae and Mar-Dule, it had taken them an entire night to traverse the outer region and the first Heat Zone. However, Mar-Du did so with a single step.

As Sol was in his thoughts, his mind soon wandered back to what happened when Mar-Du took that step. He was too focused on not throwing up; however, he had still faintly felt a warping sensation at that ti.
It wasn’t teleportation, but sothing else. Though Sol had felt this feeling before.
’It’s comparable to the ti I attempted to imitate Father’s steps when I first saw it. Senior Mar-Du isn’t traversing through the stars, but his step was almost identical to how Father did it.’
Sol couldn’t help it anymore, and he turned to Mar-Du and asked.
"Senior Mar-Du, how were you able to traverse such a distance with a single step?"
Mar-Du paused, and it looked like he was going to refuse to comnt; however, he suddenly smiled and said.
"How do you think I did it?"
Mar-Du was reluctant to reveal these things to Sol. These concepts were extrely profound and complicated, and without being in the Heavenly Realm to have context on their aning, he might as well just be disrupting the boy’s cultivation path by divulging them so early into his cultivation.
Sol thought for a mont, then said.
"I felt a warping sensation that felt like the space in the surroundings was compressing. However, then it... uhm... expanded?"
Sol was truly wracking his brain to try to articulate his thoughts, but it was hard.
However, Mar-Du’s eyes twinkled when here heard Sol’s words.
’How terrifying, is this brat actually...’
Mar-Du’s thoughts trailed off, and he tried to appear calm as he said.
"As cultivators who purely cultivate our bodies, we are different from those who focus on purely Aether Energy cultivation. They revere the world and in return the world rewards them, but as for us, we go against the world and force it to bend to our will!"
When Sol heard that, it was like lightning had just struck him, and his entire body beca rooted to the spot.
His eyes glazed over, and even though his bangs were covering the top half of his face, Mar-Du could still sense what was happening to him, and he could only sigh.
’I can’t believe this brat is gaining enlightennt so suddenly.’
Soone gaining enlightennt was no small issue, whether it was for a Martial Skill, a Sword or Saber Art, or even a simple Martial Art that only contained movents and lacked an Aether Energy circulation thod.
One might be able to co out of that enlightennt knowing of a way to use that Martial Skill or Sword Art the creator had never thought of.
The power they would then be able to wield using that Martial Skill or Sword Art might even surpass the original cap of that Martial Skill or Sword Art.
Mar-Du wasn’t sure what kind of enlightennt Sol received, but from the concepts he spoke about, it was likely a Movent Skill.

Mar-Du had to sigh. Even though he had helped Sol a bit, it was all due to his talent that he was able to instantly understand his words and gain enlightennt.

After a few minutes, Sol’s glazed eyes suddenly returned to normal. He then turned to Mar-Du and said with gratitude.

Mar-Du smiled and shook his head.
"No need, it would be too shaless of if I took credit for your enlightennt."
"Enlightennt? So that’s what it was, I thought it was strange how I would suddenly lose all sense of self when it happened."
Mar-Du was startled when he heard that.
"You-Have you gained enlightennt before?"
Sol nodded.
"When I was creating my Aether Absorption Technique, I was struggling a lot during the final parts, but after I fell into a brief trance, I was able to complete it. Master had even nodded when I told him about it."
Mar-Du’s hands and feet grew cold, and he forced a smile as he said.
"Did you just say you created your own Aether Absorption Technique?"
"Yes, I did."
When Mar-Du got confirmation, he had to take a deep breath to calm down.
In the past, he was hailed as the number one genius of the Barbarian Race. Even though Tan-Mu, the Academy Leader, completely outshone everyone in that generation, Mar-Du was talented, nonetheless.
However, creating an Aether Absorption technique while in the Mortal Realm was unbelievable to him.
The thod of creating an Absorption Technique was different between the Barbarian Race and those in Jianghu, as well as the Land of Shadows.
The concept of using runes to cultivate one’s Fleshly Body could be passed down sowhat; the only variation when being passed down would be the circulation pathway, while the runes responsible for tempering the body would be the sa.

Mar-Du sighed internally.
From now on, he promised himself he wasn’t going to be shocked by Sol anymore. As a powerful expert in the Heavenly Realm, it was getting slightly embarrassing for him to beco shocked repeatedly by a junior in the Mortal Realm.
Mar-Du paused his thoughts here and went to ask Sol sothing. However, that question remained on the tip of his tongue, and he chose not to ask it.

Mar-Dule groaned when he heard his Father, but didn’t resist as he was picked up and held under his arm.
After picking up Sol next, Mar-Du took another step, and his figure.
