The Guardian gods Chapter 111

Getting back to the team didn’t take much ti as they had already t up with the four scouts. Ikem and Zephyr walked into the encampnt causing the ruckus to turn down.

The four scouts, Tula, Nala, Pochi and Kobi all took a knee as soon as they saw Ikem, who smiled at the sight as he went forward and squatted in front of them while bringing them to a big embrace.

Letting them go, Ikem stood as he said "News of how good you guys were have reached my ears, I am mostly certainly happy and proud of the work you have done"

Getting a hug and praise from their kings was sothing tye scouts were not expecting so they were still recovering from that and could only stutter out " You flatter us, your highness"

Ikem let out a chuckle as he turned serious, "I appreciate what you have done but I have one more request I have to make of you guys"

Ikem said as he looked at the scouts who imdiately gathered themselves while looking seriously at their king.

"What are we to do, your highness?"Tula asked.

Nodding Ikem cleared his throat, "You are to go back into the camp, this ti you are to take with you the rebel leader and those near him at the mont"

"You are to bring them out of the settlent, while making your way back to the kingdom. This has to be completed with the artifacts that you have gotten from Zephyr, once this is completed the artifact will solely belong to you as a reward" Ikem said as he looked at the four scouts.

The scouts were surprised by the other new mission but nonetheless they all bowed down and said "Understood your highness"

Zephyr anwhile had a confused expression on his face as he went towards his father,while whispering "Why are we bringing the rebel head and his people back to our kingdom, Also I thought we would be making a move on the human head today"

Ikem smiled as shook his head, "The rebel leader is soone who is soone who I believe will be needed by us and no we are not making a move on the humans"

"The n are gathered here in case sothing unexpected happens, we have to be ready to deal with it which is also why I have you here" Ikem said as he found himself a tree to climb up to. His form at the mont is shrunken.

Zephyr looked at his father while he shook his head as he also found himself a tree to climb up to.

Ikem laid down on his tree while looking up at the sky where the sun was ready to go down, " I will be finally eting this mysterious human and maybe a step closer in getting to know of the possible that may have co into our world"

Closing his eyes to rest, Ikem smiled as he rembered a mory of his father who spent most of his ti on a tree sleeping with Boros wrapped around him.

Once the sun fell and midnight ca, Ikem jumped down from the tree he was in. The dozen soldiers he ca with are already ready with the armor specifically designed for them for this mission.

The dozen n all wore a black armor that blended in well with the night sky and in their hands were magic weapons attuned to their elents Ikem handed to them, which they have gotten slightly used to fit the one week Zephyr was away.

Looking over to the the four scouts who were also up, Ikem did bother to say anything brave or comforting instead he said " You know what to do"

Bowing, the Four scouts disappeared out of thin air as they headed for the settlent. Ikem looked at Zephyr and the dozen n and said "Follow "

Ikem walked like he had been here before. Which Zephyr found weird but deciding not to ask about it now as they have sothing to do.

A small distance away from the settlent, Ikem stopped as he grew to his Normal full size blending in perfectly with the night and trees around him.

Zephyr and the Dozen n said nothing as they looked over to the empty quiet settlent. Most of the humans have now gone asleep.

anwhile at the castle built for Osita, he felt the three Familiar life forces. This ti he noticed they were quickly heading to Omadi place.

Creeping out of the bed he was in and looking at his sleeping wife, Osita headed down to the basent, once he got there he imdiately opened the closed up cell where a growling sound ca from.

12 hunched shadows walked out from the cell, nothing was said as a window in the basent burst open as the shadows quickly left through it.

anwhile Osita was adorning himself with armor he picked out for himself. Once he was ready he also headed out of the opened window.

Soon the shadows ca out of the window and were quickly heading towards Omadi palace. Ikem locked in the castle as he felt whatever was coming out of it was certainly weird. In his sense, the 12 things that ca out from the castle were all dead as he can’t imagine sothing with that small amount of life force is still alive and moving at the speed they were.

"Get ready, move in at the top once I tell you. Zephyr stay where you are" Ikem’s deep voice rang out in the quiet forest.

Ikem eyes hiding among the trees soon changed as he felt a huge life force co out from the basent. His eyes imdiately locked in on the figure of a human who walked out clad in armor and was holding a tall red spear.

Ikem hand tapped Zephyr shoulders l, who responded "I know that, the winds told "

anwhile Tula reached Omadi’s tent, she watched as the tent was torn open. Reaching down and Picking up the sleeping Omadi and the young child he was holding.

Tula watched as the other human floated in thin air, seeing the got everyone, Tula imdiately started running outside the settlent when all of a sudden she heard her king voice in her ear telling her to change position and start heading towards there.

The other scouts also heard Ikem’s voice in their ear, not doubting their king’s words. The four scouts changed their direction.

While they were running the four scouts soon heard a growling sound behind ti. They looked behind to see shadows quickly making their way towards them.

anwhile Osita expression changed as he noticed through the eyesight of the shadows that "There were four of them, if not for the humans this one was carrying I would not have noticed"

Thinking of that his expression changed as he felt more life force pour in the settlent and they were quickly heading for the scouts, With their speed they would soon catch up to them.

"Damn it" Osita said as his eyes glowed red.

The shadows chasing the scouts soon stopped as they all howled loudly to the sky soon their eyes started glowing red even the inside of their body lit up like they had a fire flowing in their veins.

Ikem observing the whole thing, wanted to act but he saw his n were close so he said to Zephyr "Bless them with wind"

The dozen n running towards the scouts saw nothing in their view but they could see floating human figures so they knew they were close to their target.

All of a sudden they felt their movent and body get lighter, imdiately taking notice it was their prince who acted, mana flowed through their body as they dashed forward, Imdiately blocking the claws reading to tear through the scouts.

Back when the shadows roared to the sky, the humans the scouts were carrying were awoken by the sound as they began stirring and panicking, seeing themselves floating off the ground.

Tula hurriedly spoke out to calm the panicking Omadi, " Human calm down, it’s okay we are just trying to protect you"

anwhile Omadi was having none of that, as he scread out "Let down please"

The sa thing was happening for the other scouts as they stopped running to calm the humans they were carrying.

All of a sudden, the scouts left a shiver in their spine only to look back to a claws near and close to tearing them apart when the dozen n clad in black armor all stepped in blocking the claws.

The human who we’re panicking all cald down imdiately as they looked at the claws about to tear them in half and at the owner of the claws.

The shadow soon appeared in fulllight under the moonlight, showing a figure of disfigured humans who were constantly growling while dripping from their one with blood red eyes.

Their whole body looked mutated with long thin arms endowed with sharp claws, the sa can be said for their feet.

Tula and the scout didn’t hesitate as they took off once again, the ti the humans were cooperative and they all looked back in shock seeing their forr colleagues’ new form.
