Chapter 23: Don’t Cry in the Future

“Can’t get up?”

Hearing this, Li Yunqing’s eyes dimd slightly.

Even with Jiang Yu’s strength at the Upper Tier of the Initial Realm, he could not climb this cliff—then for the ti being, there was truly no way to return.

They could only wait for rescue.

“It shouldn’t take too long, right?”

Thinking of Jiang Yu’s status, once he could not be contacted, the Jiang Family would surely search frantically. Li Yunqing did not say anything further.

She stood up, walked to the open ground, swallowed a pill, and began cultivating the Mingyu Fist.

“If I had awakened my mories earlier, perhaps I would have already entered the ranks of martial artists.”

“And also… why did the God-Worship Sect want to capture ?”

Now, she deeply felt her lack of strength and was unwilling to waste even a mont.

“I must beco stronger as soon as possible!”

Although she could not figure out the God-Worship Sect’s purpose, she did not want to face such danger again.

This ti had been luck—but who could guarantee that luck would always be on her side?

Moreover, with her current appearance, death would almost be a relief.

If she were captured alive, she did not believe any man could remain unmoved in front of her.

At that point, it would be worse than death.

She could accept having a woman’s body in this life, but she could not accept being violated by a man.

Only strength was the foundation for survival and control over one’s fate.

In just a mont, she was already imrsed in her fist technique.

At the Mastery level, the Mingyu Fist flowed from her body like instinct.

At tis, her arms stretched out like willow branches brushing the water, yet each strike still carried force, the wind in the air whistling ‘whoosh whoosh’.

At tis, her toes lightly tapped the ground, as if moving with the wind. Every step and turn carried a soft and elegant arc, like a butterfly dancing.

Swift yet sharp.

Her long black hair moved with the wind, brushing against her jade-like neck, stirring endless imagination.

As her clothes fluttered, her straight legs and slender waist moved with both softness and strength, like a celestial maiden dancing in the breeze.

Especially her chest wrapped beneath her garnts, and her rounded hips—rising and falling, trembling as if they might tear through the fabric.

With such beauty and figure, every movent was a captivating sight.

Seeing this, Jiang Yu was completely stunned, his eyes unable to move away for a long ti.

Without realizing it, Jiang Yu seed to forget his pain. He actually propped himself up, stood, and walked step by step toward Li Yunqing.

“Thud!”

Not noticing the ground beneath him, Jiang Yu was tripped by a stone and tumbled across the ground.

The wounds that had just been bandaged split open again, blood spreading.

“Hiss…”

Only then did Jiang Yu feel the tearing pain throughout his body. He clenched his teeth, continuously drawing in cold breaths.

Looking at the blood on his legs and arms, then at Li Yunqing not far away, his face instantly turned red.

Before, he had rely been attracted to Li Yunqing.

Along with the Jiang Family’s ancestral teachings, if he were to pursue marriage, he would bear responsibility—but it had never been this overwhelming.

What was wrong with him today?

“Could it be that I’m also just an ordinary man?”

Jiang Yu fell into silence.

“Mingyu Fist experience 20.”

Hearing the commotion, Li Yunqing stopped and looked at Jiang Yu’s wounds, now stained with blood again, her brows slightly furrowed. “Your injuries are severe. Don’t move around.”

Yesterday, she had spent great effort cleaning and bandaging those wounds, only for them to split open again like this.

Could this man be a little more sensible?

“Cough… I’m a bit thirsty.”

Jiang Yu’s face flushed red. Even if beaten to death, he would not admit that he had been captivated by Li Yunqing’s stunning figure and had no idea what he was doing.

“Just say so next ti!”

“It’s not like you don’t have a mouth!”

Li Yunqing’s expression remained calm, though a trace of helplessness flashed in her clear eyes.

So seriously injured, yet too embarrassed to speak?

A grown man, yet more shy than a young girl?

Hearing Li Yunqing’s extrely calm words, Jiang Yu’s lips twitched. He could not explain at all, and an awkward smile appeared on his face.

He did want to speak—but what could he say?

He could not possibly say, “You look so beautiful, co here so I can take a closer look,” right?

He had a feeling that if he said that, Li Yunqing might stab him a few more tis.

Li Yunqing walked over, crouched down, and calmly helped Jiang Yu up, as if supporting a stranger.

But feeling the softness and smoothness of her arm, along with the faint fragrance that reached him—

Jiang Yu’s body stiffened. His heart pounded wildly, his ears turned red, and he lowered his head, not daring to look at Li Yunqing.

Yet he was unwilling to let go, and even less dared to touch her hand.

“We don’t know how long it will take to be found. I don’t have much dicine left.”

After helping Jiang Yu to lean against the cliff wall, Li Yunqing spoke.

Though her tone remained calm and steady, Jiang Yu could still hear the helplessness within it.

“She still cares about !”

Jiang Yu felt a sweetness in his heart, suddenly thinking that this injury had not been in vain.

He even felt that the distance between them had grown closer because of it.

Li Yunqing took out her flying sword. With its sharp tip, she deftly cut open the cloth around Jiang Yu’s arm and leg wounds.

Taking out a dicine bottle from her waist, she began applying dicine.

“Rip!”

After applying the dicine, she tore off a piece of her skirt and wrapped it around the wounds.

After bandaging him, she washed the blood from her hands, then picked up the wooden bowl, filled it with water, and returned to Jiang Yu.

With the wooden ladle, she scooped water and brought it to Jiang Yu’s lips.

Jiang Yu subconsciously opened his mouth, but his gaze remained fixed on Li Yunqing’s face and neck.

That fair, smooth skin was like the finest delicacy, making one want to taste it.

Her delicate features seed like a masterpiece carved by heaven itself—soft and tender.

Especially those slightly upturned lips, rosy and luscious like tempting strawberries, making Jiang Yu’s Adam’s apple roll rapidly.

Fortunately, he was drinking water—otherwise, Li Yunqing might have already noticed sothing unusual.

Even so, Li Yunqing still noticed the sowhat heated, dry gaze lingering on her.

“n… even when they’re about to die, what are they thinking about?”

Li Yunqing was speechless inwardly, yet her expression did not change in the slightest, remaining calm and indifferent.

With her appearance, being stared at was inevitable—she did not have the energy to care.

Moreover, so n beca more excited the more one reacted. Ignoring it was best.

“Do you want more?”

After one bowl of water, Li Yunqing asked.

Looking at her lips opening and closing, revealing her pearly white teeth, Jiang Yu swallowed and nodded instinctively.

Li Yunqing turned and filled another bowl.

Still expressionless, she brought it to Jiang Yu’s lips again. Despite feeling his gaze constantly on her, she said nothing.

“Does Ice-Like Skin and Jade-Like Bones also co with charm?”

“He wasn’t like this before…”

Li Yunqing felt slightly puzzled. Sensing the emotions in his eyes, she muttered inwardly, “You brought this on yourself—don’t cry in the future!”

She could control her own heart, but not others’.

Moreover, she was destined never to marry a man—her ending had long been set.

She could not say more; she could only respect others’ fates.

In any case, she had never asked anyone to like her—so she felt at ease.

“Gurgle… gurgle…”

After feeding him four bowls of water in succession, Jiang Yu’s stomach suddenly growled.

“Serves you right! That’s what you get for drinking so much!”

Li Yunqing wanted to laugh, but forcibly held it back.

Jiang Yu’s entire face turned red. He instinctively turned his head, not daring to look at Li Yunqing’s calm face.

“You should rest.”

Setting down the bowl, Li Yunqing returned to the open ground and continued practicing her fist technique.

Watching Li Yunqing leave, Jiang Yu let out a breath of relief, feeling like slapping himself.

He had enjoyed being fed water by Li Yunqing so much that he had unknowingly drunk too much, making a fool of himself.

But seeing Li Yunqing’s dancing figure, his gaze still could not leave her.

Before, he had only felt that Li Yunqing’s gentle temperant was extrely attractive.

But now, facing that flawless face, he realized he had no resistance at all.

Especially today—Li Yunqing seed to possess a kind of magic that made him unable to control himself.

“She’s becoming more and more beautiful!”

After an unknown amount of ti, Jiang Yu could not help but sigh inwardly.

But suddenly, his expression changed slightly. He felt a swelling in his abdon, his legs subconsciously tensing.

“This is bad… I drank too much water!”
