Yan Xiaobao slowly regained control of his body and started to open his eyes, stretching his stiff limbs. Before he realized it, several hours had passed, and the morning sunlight began streaming through the window, signaling that it was ti for Yan Xiaobao to prepare for departure.

Several hours later, a wooden carriage pulled by two magnificent magical horses made its way from the Royal Academy in Liluo City towards the city center. Inside the carriage, three children chatted amicably and freely with one another.

Rong Xing still expressed mild disapproval regarding Yan Xiaobao selling his pills, but Rong Ming quickly told her to stop focusing her attention on Yan Xiaobao’s decisions, emphasizing that their friend was capable of making his own choices. Instead, Rong Ming insisted that Yan Xiaobao join them for dinner at the City Lord’s manor and suggested they all return to the academy together afterward.

During the entire trip to Liluo City, Yan Xiaobao maintained his gaze outside the window, watching as the scenery transford from mountainous terrain to fields and rural farms. Yan Xiaobao had spent ten years living in a small village, though during that ti, his focus had been entirely on cultivation.

Now, as he stared out the carriage window, he couldn’t help but compare this world to the one he had once known. Though this world was filled with experts wielding incredible power and mastering magic, Yan Xiaobao found it striking that fierce beasts—animals he had never encountered in his forr life—were commonplace here. However, while observing the laborers, Yan Xiaobao couldn’t help but feel that these farrs endured harsh lives—burdens that could be eased with so of the knowledge he carried from his past life.

As he contemplated how superior this world seed in many aspects, he chuckled lightly. Yet, he also recognized that most residents lived lives far more arduous than what modern society would allow.

Yan Xiaobao was not a hero. He had no intention of investing his energy in implenting reforms to alleviate the struggles of the poor. What Yan Xiaobao saw through the window was opportunity—for profit.

Yan Xiaobao had already co to realize that what he was doing now wasn’t sothing easily replicated. Selling Martial Arts Skills and spiritual art skills was a risky business. Though it involved significant profits, it could create future complications.

He also understood that Lord Rongrong had opened doors for many commoners to beco experts. Children who joined the Martial Arts School would not return to the traditional lifestyles of their parents. So of them were attending the Royal Art Academy, while others continued their cultivation from ho.

Those who attended the Royal Art Academy often ended up pursuing military careers or becoming the bodyguards of noble families. Most of the self-trained youth turned into rcenaries, while a select few of higher ranks beca city guards.

The abundance of cultivators in Liluo City earned high regard from the Royal Family, as they contributed to a steady flow of soldiers. anwhile, these rcenaries boosted local trade and frequently facilitated treasure auctions in the Black Market Auction House.

However, there was a downside to all these experts—the city faced shortages in certain professions. There were not enough farrs outside the city, nor sufficient carpenters to sustain the expansion of the growing tropolis.

Yan Xiaobao couldn’t help but smirk slightly as he recalled various simple yet highly effective blueprints for chanisms. However, such knowledge was only valuable to select noble families or even the City Lord.

The hardest part wasn’t creating blueprints but selling them to Rong Liang without the City Lord discovering his involvent.

Yan Xiaobao sighed, but as the towering city walls rapidly lood closer, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction. Even though Yan Xiaobao had other options for making money, he knew he’d need to carefully plan after returning to the academy. For now, he had no intention of altering the plan he had agreed upon with Lan Feng.
