Qian Dazhuang was so angry he nearly jumped out of his skin. “Bastards! Are you even my brothers? Are you siding with outsiders? Have you all forgotten who nearly killed us?”
Qian Dazhuang had been knocked out from the beating, but when Xi Yue arrived later, he groggily came to. For a moment, he saw Jin Zeyu and the others, their bodies covered in blood, looking utterly miserable.

Jin Zeyu had heard that Xi Yue had a brother, named Xiao Chi, though he had only seen him from a distance once or twice. So, when he heard the mention of her brother, he assumed that Wei Zhi was Xiao Chi.
Xi Yue walked to the slightly opened window in silence and looked outside.
In the empty street, the young man in red stood alone, his figure thin and forlorn. It was as if he were shrouded in an overwhelming sense of despair, with all light and warmth fading away from him.
