"Why am I dealing with this shit?!" I mumbled feeling the Saint kid clinging to .
I looked around for a place to drop the kid off and I spotted the bell tower like thing and fixed it as a target.
"Hold on, kid." I said as I held him securely before flying towards the bell tower.
The arrows and the knights were sohow consistent as I reached the bell tower and lowered the kid at a little distance away from the edge.
"There you go, soone will co get you." I said as I turned but halted as he gripped my sleeve.
"Wait! Please don’t leave!"
"Hah? If I don’t leave they’ll keep attacking and I don’t want to-" I gasped as I looked at his tears filled eyes.
"Please don’t leave!" He pleaded and my blood sizzled under my skin.
It was as if sothing within was growling and trying to surface but I shook my head pushing my growing instinctual aspect back down.
"I need to leave, kid. Let go."
His lower lip quivered and a tear drop swelled at the corner of his left eye before it slid down and I sighed. I reached out and gently wiped it away. The kid snuggled his face in my palm making frown.
My instincts told to take the kid with but I knew it would only create trouble so, I had to act on my brain and not according to my instincts.
I inhaled and exhaled deeply, I couldn’t ignore the chaos around . I had to leave for now or so other problem might arise.
"Listen kid, I have to leave for now,"
His eyes grew wide and he clutched tighter.
"But!" I added, "I’ll co for you again. So, wait for , okay? And don’t tell anyone that you t a Dragon, do you get it?"
His lower lip quivered and a couple of tears slid down making sigh.
"I’ll be there for you soon so, don’t cry, all right?" I asked and he sniffled making brush my thumb over his flushed, smooth cheek.
"Please co... I-I’ll be waiting."
Sothing was strange about this kid. But it was even more strange for my blood to react to it.
The sound of footsteps suddenly caught my attention and I prepared to fly away.
"There they are!"
"Get away from the Saint!"
I saw a flash of silver before I shot back away from the Saint and saw the knights who were rushing towards him. I saw Asher among them, the knights were frowning as they looked around and I couldn’t help but be confused as well as I was invisible again.
"Wha-What the-"
"Where did he go?"
"He just disappeared?!"
The knights were also perplexed as I was as they tried to locate .
"What’s going on?" I thought as I saw the Saint looking in my direction with a pleading gaze.
Whatever was he thinking?
Asher ordered his n to shoot arrows and I sighed as I flew higher letting the arrows pierce the air where I was earlier. He must have assud that I was there considering that the Saint was still looking at .
He placed a hand over the kid’s shoulders and pushed him back.
"Please step back, it’s dangerous." He told the Saint and the kid hung his head.
I had no interest in sticking around as I had basically gone ahead and destroyed the parade for good. But then again, it wasn’t my fault so, I wasn’t guilty.
The kid was safe and the people didn’t sustain any grave injuries so, I guess everything was all right. Except for the bombs that were currently in my small pouch at my hip. I would have to hide them sowhere or better yet, hand them to Lyall for safe keeping.
They wouldn’t blast unless I supplied them with mana so, I guess whoever those terrorists were they were mages as well. And if that was the case then, we might have a bigger problem.
Who would want to kill the kid? Besides, speaking of random assassination attempts then, even Arian was attacked by so people while I and Lyall were entering Denril.
Was there so third party involved who wanted to kill these kids? Or the enemy parties from either sides tried to remove the thorns on their sides?
Whatever it was, it seed as though this Saint kid was in danger and probably even Arian. If either of them died then it might create a huge complication for my plan. I did talk with Arian but this Saint kid seed different he seed like he needed protection.
"I guess, I’ll be babysitting another kid."
I returned to the estate after scanning the area for more threats and noticed the maids knocking on the doors of my room. I reverted to Ocean’s female form and ssed my hair and clothes before I opened the door, yawning.
"What..."
Lilly and Nina who were standing out there sighed loudly looking as if they would collapse.
"Miss, why weren’t you opening the door? We were knocking for ten minutes."
"Ah... Well, I’m a heavy sleeper so, I didn’t notice. I’m sorry." I smiled and they smiled back looking relieved.
"Um, is sothing the matter?" I asked and the two shook their heads.
"No, we just ca to check on you to see if you wanted sothing," Nina said and I shook my head.
"I’m fine, I don’t need anything."
The two left and I went and fell on my soft and fluffy bed. That was tiring day, I did have so fun but it was compensated by the stuff that happened later.
Besides, why did my invisibility turn off when I was carrying the Saint kid?
"Do you guys have anything to tell about this kid?" I asked.

I sighed as I realised that it was useless to expect help from them. I should have checked his stats when I had him.
I sat up as I recalled that I had a reward to claim.
I opened the notifications and saw the reward received flash in front of . I sighed as I looked at the three abilities in front of .

"You know I am a manipulator myself, don’t you?" I asked as I read the abilities before .
"And I can understand that since it wasn’t that hard a job but you’re basically giving only one choice here." I said as I crossed my arms at my chest.

"Then take a guess and tell what ability I’ll choose. I’m sure you have it in your mind." I challenged.
She didn’t respond and I sighed clicking on the first ability.

I felt the strange swirling sensation flow through as soon as the notification popped up and I closed my eyes for a mont feeling it harmonising with my elent.
I opened my eyes and brought my hand up creating a water ball before I focused a little and it started swirling and taking a shape of a whirlpool. I looked out of the window and exhaled deeply, the wind started blowing instantly and the clouds started gathering covering the sunlight. The thick clouds darkened the atmosphere and soon the winds grew violent making smile.
I walked up to the window feeling the sharp winds and looked at the maids and servants hurrying because of the sudden storm.
I liked this kind of stormy and cloudy weather but it seed like it would be a problem if I created it on a whim. I dispersed the clouds and the winds slowed down from violent to gentle breeze.
I could see the confusion in the servants as they stopped and looked at the sky which was clearing up now.
After so ti, I left the room to go and explore the manor. It’s architecture was unique the with the carvings being more pronounced unlike the comparatively bland features from Sestia.
There were various portraits including the family portraits, I stopped to have a look at one of them. There was a middle-aged couple with three children, two boys and one girl.
The next portrait had the three grown-up kids, one of them was Asher, the second man had platinum blonde hair and sharp looking blue eyes, the woman on the other hand seed like a golden fairy.
The next was only Asher as a Templar knight.
There weren’t any family portraits anymore. I looked around but that was the end. Did he get kicked out of the family because he joined the Temple?
The enmity between the nobles and the Temple was quite deep so, I wouldn’t be surprised if he was kicked out but then again, this manor belonged to the Lewinstein family and he was using their surna so, maybe he was in a complicated situation or I was overthinking.
I decided to go with the latter.
Besides, I was waiting for Asher to return thought it was hard because of the stuff that happened at the market center. It was basically an assassination attempt on the Saint and also for so idiots a kidnapping attempt so, he would probably be under strict security. Asher might get stuck there since he was the Captain of the Templar knights.
If that were the case then I would have to go with another way of entering the temple.
