After returning to the Royal City once more, Rod first made a visit to the Holy Fire Sacrificial Ground. Although he didn’t plan on utilizing the power of the Royal City, he still needed to inform the King about taking the Black Battle Group with him when he left.
Unexpectedly, the King didn’t find his unsanctioned actions difficult to understand and readily agreed, rendering Rod’s prepared speeches unnecessary.
"Little Rod, I agree with your battle plan. I will notify Dalin shortly, so it won’t affect the combat sequence arrangents. If you need assistance, you can directly speak to or to Dalin."
Under the Holy Fire, the King’s smile was incredibly radiant.
"Rember, Trolian is your backing, and the Holy Fire Sacrificial Ground is your eternal ho. Here, I am invincible. No matter what danger you encounter, as long as you return here, you’ll be safe."
Rod felt an imnse sense of gratitude in his heart. The King’s words filled him with confidence. With a leader like Trolian, revival was a certain thing.
Whether it’s Qingyu, Jon, or Xingge, none of them currently hold a candle to him.
The King would still be in power for at least thirty more years.
Rod thought to himself.
Let’s see if they catch up within these thirty years.
My role as an Igniter, hopefully, will not need to be put to use forever.
With this thought, Rod decided to visit Qingyu and the others when he had ti. Recently, they had all been striving for the elevation of the "Eternal Burning Fire." After acquiring the Star Source, the three candidates exhibited active traits. They were cultivating in seclusion at the Fire Holy Grail Cathedral and had made significant progress.
Even the youngest, Xingge, had elevated her trait level to nine.
With just one more step, she would beco a qualified ruler.
May you all advance soon.
Rod silently prayed.
After leaving the Holy Fire Sacrificial Ground, Rod returned to the base.
Since Kashan had been injured last ti, she had been undergoing dical treatnt. A seasoned Soul Master told him Kashan’s situation wasn’t good; her soul was riddled with cracks, and she needed so ti for convalescence to avoid another soul’s collapse.
Within the Battle Group, only Anna and phit could accompany him.
Rod sighed deeply, seeing there were too few people in the Battle Group. He needed to recruit more mbers.
But he was also sowhat hesitant; those truly useful to him were those whose nas were inscribed on the Tombstone, becoming full-fledged "Dream Envoys."
However, cultivating a "Dream Envoy" required a lot of resources, which Rod couldn’t afford at the mont.
Kashan and Anna were costly, and phit wasn’t easily managed either.
I’ll shortlist so candidates first.
Rod thought.
When the ti is right, I’ll bring them into the Battle Group.
Having settled his thoughts, Rod thought no more about it. He mounted Anna, took phit, and set off once again toward the Sagus Ancient City.
This journey was much more difficult than the last.
As the White Tower had warned, the Black Fog had changed. The original route was covered by dense Black Fog, and its pollution power was a hundred tis stronger than before.
Rod used up thousands of Red Tear Stones and Fuel Elents. Fortunately, Anna’s speed was unparalleled, or they would have been trapped by the Black Fog halfway there.
After much difficulty, they arrived in front of Sagus City, and Anna worriedly asked, "Rod, how will we get back?"
Rod smiled and said, "Don’t worry, we can use the Teleportation Gate to return."
"Let’s go, once you’re behind to assist, a brand new will utterly annihilate the King of the Deep Sea."
"Watch closely!"
