Returning to the abandoned ancient city once again, Rod felt quite emotional.
In less than two weeks, the traces of their battles here were almost invisible.
The black fog had swallowed everything, making it look as if no one had ever been here.
New monsters had been born in the areas that were once cleared, and in such a short ti, their strength had reached the Strong Level.
Even though under Rod’s command they were just a matter of a punch or a sword and posed little threat, the very fact was chilling.
Anna felt the terror and cold deeply, her enormous horse body instinctively moved closer to Rod, and she asked in a low voice, "Why do these monsters grow so quickly? You clearly killed them just recently."
Rod replied in a deep voice, "The concentration of black fog here is very high, so the monsters born are naturally very strong. Look."

"Black water!"
Anna was startled.

The black water is a derivative very close to the original black fog, with an extrely strong corrosive ability, and its secondary product is the strong corrosive material most often used by the doomsday believers to extinguish fires.
phit said softly, "It’s Asdes, the King of the Deep Sea."
Rod was very familiar with this subject, and he explained in detail, "Monsters are the manifestation of the Dark Law, the quantified product of the black fog. Their existence itself is pollution, and where there are more monsters, the black fog is bound to be denser, and vice versa. The King of the Deep Sea is a King Level Monster with super-strong pollution, a terrifying existence in the Spirit Realm. When it ca here, it created a terrifying source of pollution, and the black fog gathered here, forming an effect similar to the Black Cave."
Anna felt chilled to the bone and asked tremblingly, "Then in places where there are powerful monsters, there’s definitely a Black Cave?"
Rod nodded slightly, "That’s right. If our vision could see far, we would see that in an area, if there’s a point where the black fog concentration is much higher than the surroundings, then there must be a powerful monster."
phit glanced at Rod and switched to a situation a normal person might encounter.
"If while exploring the Dark World, the black fog concentration suddenly increases, it is very likely to encounter a powerful monster, with Spiritual Power Strength of at least Fifteenth Level. If it’s a King Level Monster, the heavy Strong Source will also cause a slight distortion and sinking in the space, creating a well effect."
Rod looked at her in surprise.
"phit, you know a lot."
phit calmly replied, "I participated in so extrely cruel missions... they told these things."
Rod asked, "More brutal than the Abyss War?"
phit nodded lightly.

"Wow!" Anna looked at phit in admiration, "You’re so amazing... You must have been very strong at that ti, right?"
phit calmly said, "That was one of the few tis I completely broke free from the shackles of the Soul Curse and received the King’s Blessing."
Rod laughed, "And what about this ti?"
phit’s silver-white eyes looked at him, "If you don’t show the strength you talked about, I will imdiately take Anna and run away."
"Isn’t that too heartless? What about our bond? Our unyielding promise? The vow we made under that old crooked tree? Just forgotten like that?"
Anna widened her eyes and kept looking at Rod and phit.
"No way? You guys... when did you..."
phit’s silver-white eyes showed a rare hint of embarrassnt, "He’s lying..."
Rod deliberately sighed, "Alright, I won’t insist, but if I sacrifice in this battle, please live on well for too."
This ti, not only was phit embarrassed, but there was a rare hint of redness on her face. However, being at a loss for words, she didn’t know how to explain, but Anna beside her believed it.
"Don’t worry! I’ll definitely fight until the last mont! You too, phit, right?"
phit didn’t know how to reply, so she remained silent.
Rod snickered secretly in his heart, pretending to wear a grim face as he led the way.
The journey was very smooth, and they reached the Divine Tower unhindered following their previous route.
As phit said, there was indeed a sense of settling in this area, as if an invisible force was bending the space.
"The King of the Deep Sea is still inside the tower."
Rod said solemnly.
"Ever since it entered here last ti, it hasn’t left. I think it may be devouring the remnants of the Ancient God of Destiny here."
Anna suddenly felt a bit frightened, "Rod, can we really defeat such a monster?"
Rod gave a confident smile.
"Don’t worry, leave everything to , you just stay back and assist from a distance."
Only then did Anna feel relieved, and the three of them entered again through the tunnel discovered last ti, returning to the strange space inside the Divine Tower.
As soon as they stepped in, a humid sll wafted in, accompanied by a heavy stench of decay.
Rod was shocked to find that this space seed as if it had been soaked at the bottom of the sea for thousands of years. Everything was damp, with kelp-like filants floating all around, and deep green materials similar to seaweed covering the ground.
