The Internal Affairs Court, when facing a crisis, acted extrely swiftly and accurately.
A large number of Judgers rapidly deployed, sealing all Fuel Elent production facilities and warehouses. Crows controlled all related personnel, and investigators traced up along the supply chain.
Simultaneously, the Holy Church’s Anti-curse Cult, in collaboration with the Internal Affairs Court’s Inspection Departnt, inspected all Sun Stones and Fuel Elents.
Under such strong and forceful action, the incident was quickly resolved.
All of the contaminated Sun Stones originated from the recently mined materials transported to the Royal City.
The problem lay in the transportation interdiary.
All transport teams had encountered strange attacks, where Rotten Corpse Monsters rushed at them suicidally. After being killed, they released bursts of black gas, but it caused no harm, and no issues were detected afterward.
It now seed to be a form of contamination.
After precise and complex tests, the Anti-curse Cult found a thod to detect this type of contamination.
Fortunately, most of the contaminated Sun Stones had not yet been used, and the few that had been used were quickly identified in circulation and reclaid.
Unfortunately, these parts of Sun Stones and Fuel Elents had to be destroyed.
The cost of cleaning up the contamination was so high that it was not worth it. Destruction was the only choice.
The clergy of the Anti-curse Cult believed that this was a type of contamination with strong concealnt, quite peculiar, and possibly perford by a Spirit Bearer with a special Soul Trait.
They found indications of this type of altered contamination on the bodies of already deceased Black Priests, and tentatively identified the culprit as the deceased Black Priest Sarimi.
But her Soul Trait was nowhere to be found.
This was illogical, and related research was taboo, allowed only by one organization.
Calier’s Non-human Voices.
Thus, this issue, along with the body of the Black Priest, was handed over to the past.
This incident thus concluded, although it couldn’t reach the Holy Fire through the Holy Fire Sacrificial Ground, it could have extinguished hundreds of thousands of Spirit Lamps, causing the deaths of hundreds of thousands of civilians and dealt a major blow to the Royal City.
And all of this could be so perfectly resolved largely because of Rod. Within the investigators, he even earned the title "Super Spiritual Visionary."
The "Black Bucket" for the first ti received genuine attention.
The Spiritual Vision this Fire Spark offered was so exaggerated, it had reached an incomprehensible level.
The chanical Research Institute was even considering changing the entire Spiritual Vision testing system because of this.
The existing system uses the layering effect of the Mist Crystals to asure the level of Spiritual Vision, but it clearly has a ceiling and cannot distinguish between absolute Spiritual Visionaries.
But how to change it, they still had no clue.
Jinworth Academy also gained a new criteria; from now on, any student identified as a "Black Bucket" would imdiately beco a special student.
The chanical Research Institute’s Spiritual Power Laboratory was also ordered to forcibly make ti, putting Rod’s testing on the schedule.
And the Great Book Library, responsible for recording all information, specifically opened a volu for the "Black Bucket."
To this day, among the more than twenty thousand recorded Soul Traits, only fifty-five have received this treatnt.
Of those related to Fire Spark, there are only ten.
It’s worth ntioning that of these ten, the one before "Black Bucket" is the "King of Gold."
Regarding this, Rod had so objections.
Soone else is the real deal, yet called "King of Gold," and I, without any relation, am forced to beco a bucket.
Damn it, the researchers in the chanical Research Institute are really sick!
However, this was ultimately a minor matter. What truly surprised Rod was this:
To acknowledge his rits in this matter, Royal City had enhanced his privileges, allowing him to move freely within the Upper and Lower City Districts and rewarded him with a house in the Upper City.
His first reaction was that he had struck it rich.
His initial thought was to imdiately sell the house, but he was rejected by the Governnt Affairs Hall of the Upper City.
They told Rod that a house obtained through non-comrcial ans was not allowed to be sold.
Alright then.
If it can’t be sold, it can’t be sold.
At least now he had a base outside the academy, where he could enjoy so privacy and handle any inconvenient matters at his own ho.
But the bad news was that Rod’s "Soul Ashes" could no longer be made.
The remaining forty-nine Sun Stones had been seized by the Internal Affairs Court and destroyed. He couldn’t even pretend to keep them for himself.
The Judgers told him these items had to be destroyed collectively and hassled him for a long ti because one was missing.
If Rod hadn’t perford such a great service, he might have been taken back as a suspect.
Rod’s attempt to ask for fifty new Sun Stones was also sternly denied.
With Royal City having lost a large batch of Sun Stones, and a shortage of Fuel Elent already appearing, how could they possibly give more Sun Stones to an individual at this ti?
Rod nearly wore out his lips pleading, not only did he not succeed, but he also got a good dose of criticism and lecturing, which annoyed him considerably.
But just when Rod thought it was hopeless, Lauren brought him ten pieces.
He told him that if he passed the characteristic test and genuinely needed them, he could apply to Royal City.
These ten were given to him in advance.
Of course, if his Fire Spark Trait did not require Sun Stones, he would have to return these ten.
"This Royal City system is quite humane."
Rod joyfully stored away the Sun Stones.
He could finally make normal "Soul Ashes."
At this ti, a red armband, whom he hadn’t seen for a while, specifically ca to inform him of sothing.
He received a notice from the "Special Student Affairs Departnt," that the "Jinworth’s Secret Force Experintal Branch" jointly ford by Jinworth Academy and Calier’s secret forces was about to start operating.
All mbers must prepare their written reports as soon as possible.
Once the secret branch began operating, mbers would cancel all regular classes and patrol duties, undergo specialization training at Heidler Training Ground, and join Calier’s secret forces in executing official tasks.
Due to the experintal requirents, they had already been considered formal combatants, listed in the official battle sequences.
The Military War Departnt would not consider their status as students but would schedule them for combat tasks according to standard military combat sequences.
Therefore, the missions were almost entirely outside Royal City, carrying significant risks.
All students must be fully prepared and must not treat it with the mindset of "training," "practice," or "learning."
Hearing such a stern warning, a thought suddenly crossed Rod’s mind—
Could he have the opportunity to obtain the soul of a more powerful monster?
The academy could be outrageous, but surely they wouldn’t fail on their first mission?
To take a chance, sotis, was the real prudence.
