Rod laughed: "gan, it seems you don’t want the Soul Traits I hold."
gan’s eyes flickered slightly, and his imposing deanor weakened.
Rod was indeed his patron; every week, he had to provide Calier’s Voice of the Inhuman and Taboo Armant with more than ten thousand types of Soul Traits.
This was with the King’s approval and what they had strived to obtain. Rod smiled and shook his head.
"gan, you see too superficially. Spirit Bearers and Unawakened ones might have a future. Annie’s success might light your path. We all work for Trolian, for the future of humanity, just choosing different paths to reach the sa goal."
gan gazed at Rod, never before with such surprise in his eyes:
"You don’t see us as evil? As twisted beings like monsters?"
Rod chuckled: "As long as it doesn’t harm humanity, with no significant risks or threats, there’s no issue. No matter the path taken or the form of existence, as long as it benefits humanity, can slay monsters, can dispel the Black Fog, that’s the Guardian of humanity."
At this mont, gan’s eyes revealed extrely complex emotions. He sighed deeply, saying, "Lord Rod, I never imagined a powerful monarch like you would have such a broad perspective, such open-minded ideas. From now on, you are the Calier of our ti, a great and honorable title only you can bear."
