The next day when he awoke, the envoy from the Hall had arrived.
A group of dozens, marching impressively.
The leader held a luxurious rectangular box.
"This is your Hall Honor Badge."
The envoy placed the box into Rod’s hands with both hands.
Accompanied by a burst of Spiritual Light, the box scattered into colorful flowers that fluttered down.
"In recognition of your outstanding contributions to humanity in the Trident River battle, the Holy Fire Sacrificial Ground and the Fire Hall have jointly decided to award you sixty Hall Badges."
As he spoke, intense flashes of Spiritual Light continuously flickered.
A flamboyantly dressed individual holding a Recording Crystal was nearby, looking for various angles to take photos.
Though his Spiritual Power was not high, it burst forth with intense light, nearly stronger than that of the Insect Queen.
"Co on, give us a smile!"
"Another smile!"
"And another!"
"Have you had enough?" Rod complained, "My eyes are almost blinded by your flashes!"
"Don’t rush, my dear little hero, Sir. This is a recording required by Archbishop Horus. The Holy Church will use it for major publicity, to set a new heroic benchmark in the Royal City, and it cannot have any flaws."
After another quarter of an hour, the individual was finally satisfied and left, holding the Recording Crystal tightly.
As the flowers stopped falling, the leading envoy bowed and said, "Sir Rod, your combat sequence has been adjusted to second line, but given the current urgent state of affairs, you only have about two to three days to rest."
Rod nodded slightly, two to three days were enough for him to upgrade his Spiritual Power.
He could also use this ti to make major purchases within the Hall.
Adding to the original twelve and a half, he now had seventy-two and a half badges.
This was no small fortune.
But to Rod’s surprise, his rewards did not end there.
Another envoy brought over several large boxes.
"Sir Rod, considering the achievents of your Battle Group, the Royal City has decided to grant you corresponding material rewards."
He opened the boxes.
"Here are a hundred thousand silver coins, two hundred combat supplies, one hundred Special Potions, one hundred Soul Red Crystals, ten rcury Potions, ten Green Mold Potions, one Fla Burning Potion, one Green Grass Potion, and one high-concentration Life Potion."
"These supplies are for your Battle Group to be distributed among the mbers by you."
So that was it. No wonder Anna and phit had left directly for Star Town after the battle, I was wondering what their rewards were... It was Rod’s first ti dealing with such a situation, and he curiously shuffled through the supplies in the boxes, asking,
"Can I distribute these in any way I want?"
The envoy adjusted his glasses and said in an unfluctuating tone, "Please adhere to the principles of fairness, justice, and transparency in distributing these to your Battle Group mbers. If necessary, we can provide corresponding evidence of achievents."
"If any mbers of your Battle Group are dissatisfied with your distribution, you might be investigated by the Disciplinary Committee, and the Royal City might intervene to change any unreasonable distribution actions."
What a drag.
Rod just curled his lip.
So strict, I can’t even bend the rules a bit, no fun at all.
"Of course,"
the envoy added a sentence.
"Sir Rod, you still have great discretionary power, but this is your Battle Group. You wouldn’t want distribution issues to cause internal rifts and thus lower the combat effectiveness, would you?"
This guy is quite perceptive... Rod glanced at him and smiled, "Thank you for your advice, I understand."
The envoy bowed and said, "It’s my duty. If you have any further questions, you can find us at the affairs hall. May the fire accompany you on your journey. Goodbye!"

After the envoy left, Rod imdiately went out, planning to undergo a Spiritual Power upgrading ceremony.
Since the "Star Shuttle" had reached a complete state, Rod had clearly felt that his Spiritual Power had exceeded the limit and beca sowhat awkward to control.
Miss Mina from the chanical Research Institute had once told him that if he experienced such feelings, it ant he possessed enough power and needed a new soul body frawork to better wield its strength.
And Rod had been stuck at the Eighth Level of Spiritual Power for a long ti.
A Third Level combatant’s qualification, a formal mber of the Hall, a completely synchronized spiritual-flesh state—all required Ninth Level Spiritual Power.
Even the Book of Knowledge had told him that the reason for the slow progress in "Quantification" was because his Spiritual Power level was too low.
The Ninth Level of Spiritual Power was a line, a threshold. Only after crossing past Ninth Level Spiritual Power would he truly possess the power to influence the world, step into the ranks of high-rank combatants, and be among the strong.
Rod had been waiting for a long ti.
Now, it was ti to cross that chasm!
The Fire Hall was a well-equipped stronghold with a specialized hall for Spiritual Power upgrading ceremonies and a Spiritual Power Laboratory for complete checks on Spiritual Power.
Located deep beneath the Hall, Rod walked out of the Fireplace Area and headed down the corridor.
Along the way, he encountered many comrades who had also received their own rewards. Each person was beaming with joy, engaging in lively conversations and comparing who had received more Hall Badges.
The rewards for this operation were generous, and most had received a substantial benefit, but all paled in comparison to Rod.
Upon hearing that Rod had received sixty badges, everyone expressed their admiration and envy.
"You truly deserve it!"
