"Flow, Spirit!"
Powerful Spiritual Energy coursed through the Crystal Array, forming a special pattern.
The Sun Crystal emitted a blinding light, which quickly engulfed the entire hall.
The ritual lasted until the next day before ending.
When the radiant light faded, the Sun Crystal had vanished without a trace, and all the crystals had shattered, scattering fragnts all over the floor.
Mina and the Priests looked visibly exhausted, yet their expressions were tinged with joy.
"We did it!"
"It went incredibly smoothly!"
"Your Soul is extrely balanced, imnsely strong. It’s like a butterfly erging from its chrysalis. We rely cut open the cocoon!"
On the Stone Platform, Rod sat up.
He clenched his fists, and a surge of Spiritual Energy flashed by.
He clearly felt the difference, an indescribable sense of harmony, an incredibly smooth feeling as Spiritual Energy raced through his body as though gliding over an utterly smooth mirror with no resistance, an unbelievably exhilarating sensation.
Spiritual Energy circulated perfectly within his body, as if electricity flowed through a superconductor. Rod leapt to his feet, never having felt so exhilarated before.
He executed a series of punches and kicks, feeling utterly refreshed. Compared to before, he seed like a rigid puppet.
Rod looked up with a face full of excitent, "I’ve gotten stronger!"
Mina smiled, "Your spirit and body are now in perfect harmony. Your Spiritual Energy resonates and vibrates with your physical form, aning all your abilities will now perform at one hundred and twenty percent effectiveness."
A Priest added, "This is also the foundation for what cos next. If you wish to beco a non-human Second Level Combatant, you must learn how to spiritualize your body. That is the real gap to cross."
Rod said with joy, "So I’ve now beco a Third Level Combatant?"
"Correct."
Mina pointed to a comparison chart on the wall of the ritual hall.
"Look, these are the judging standards for a normal state."
"Ninth Level Spiritual Energy corresponds to a Third Level Combatant."
"Tenth Level Spiritual Energy corresponds to a Second Level Combatant."
"Eleventh Level Spiritual Energy corresponds to a First Level Combatant."
Rod asked in surprise, "Just Spiritual Power Level? No need to undergo combat trials?"
Mina shook her head, "No need. The trials for High Rank Combatants are too costly. Royal City can’t bear the expenses, so we’ve adopted a better thod. As long as one has sufficient rit and reaches the corresponding Spiritual Power Level, they can be promoted directly."
"We will also assess your combat strength, which is solely based on your past battle achievents. As long as your Soul doesn’t regress or weaken, your combat strength valuation will continue to rise."
Rod asked with a smile, "What’s my combat strength valuation now?"
"Just input Spiritual Energy into the fla emblem on the edge of your garnt to see it," Mina replied.
Rod did as instructed and indeed saw a number.
"Only 81, huh."
Mina smiled, "For you, that’s already quite high. I had it assessed specially last ti, and it was only 5."
Rod nearly laughed out loud.
So you’re just a weakling with a combat strength of 5.
"What about Alan? Is his at a hundred percent?"
Mina shook her head, "Special Level Combatants do not have a combat strength assessnt. Their combat strength is imasurable."
"Alright."
Rod felt a bit disappointed, as he had thought he might reach eighty percent of Alan’s combat strength.
"So, when can I advance to Tenth Level Spiritual Energy and join the ranks of Second Level Combatants?"
"Your Spiritual Energy must reach at least 1500 milliunits," Mina replied.
That’s quite a gap.
I’ve added so many stars, consud so many powerful souls, and my Spiritual Energy is only at 600 milliunits.
The conversion rate is too low, isn’t it?
Rod grinned wryly, feeling his journey ahead was quite distant.
Perhaps the "Wind’s Phantom" would bring so surprises.
It’s a pity the conditions for that star are too high... I wonder when I’ll be able to ignite it.
Afterwards, Rod had a brief chat with Mina, recounting the Trident River campaign’s dangers, leaving her gasping in alarm and tumultuously moved.
He also promised to finish his writings soon and to join them in exploring relics and uncovering historical truths whenever possible.
Mina urged him to write to her often and to co for a spiritual energy check whenever he was free. For a High Rank Combatant, maintaining the health of both body and soul is of utmost importance.
And she was particularly adept at providing such comprehensive care.
Upon receiving Rod’s affirmative promise, Mina was very pleased.
Subsequently, Rod bid them farewell and headed to the administrative hall of the Main Hall to submit his new Spiritual Energy report to the Hall Envoy, applying for promotion to a Third Level Combatant and to beco an official mber of the Fire Hall.
