Now reading: Chapter 741 - 419: Turning Point2 from The Last King Of Darkness, a Eastern novel by Mountains and rivers have no memory.

The Book of Knowledge rushed out of the factory.

Rod followed suit and turned back to see the dreamlike image of a girl gently closing the door, giving him a gentle smile.

Rod was stunned. The girl’s image seed as alive as any real person. The shock the Dream Factory had given him was too much.

He hoped that Colorful Dreams would also have a miraculous effect.

Rod entered the House of God and imdiately saw the mirror on the right.

It was full of cracks, already declared beyond repair by the Book of Knowledge.

The only way was to use Colorful Dreams.

"Master!" the Book of Knowledge excitedly wrote, "Send Colorful Dreams into the Divine Mirror. The power of dreams will change its damaged state, making it repairable."

Rod did as instructed. Colorful Dreams entered the Divine Mirror, spreading like oil paint in water, with a hazy glow enveloping the mirror’s surface, making it look sowhat unreal.

For so reason, Rod felt like sothing had changed. His mood lifted as if witnessing sothing good happening.

The Book of Knowledge rejoiced, "Good! It’s so good! It really worked. The Divine Mirror can finally be repaired. The dream protection is complete now! No matter the invasion, dream protection can now exert its full power!"

Rod asked, "What’s the purpose of the Divine Mirror?"

The Book of Knowledge answered, "It is the control center for dream protection. All protective powers are operated by it. Without it, the dream protection I’ve worked so hard to restore would be like a lump of dead flesh! That’s why it was so severely damaged when the Dream Realm shattered, beyond repair without Colorful Dreams."

Rod was resolute. Solely with his power, he definitely couldn’t defeat the strong King Level monsters. The suppression within the Dream Realm was an elent not to be overlooked, and a stronger Dream Realm would undoubtedly help him overco the invasion.

With the Divine Mirror repaired, the only thing left was to make Lily’s Eternal Statue.

Rod took her ashes from the storage and went to the distant Eternal Statue Square.

There was only a single, solitary statue on the vast white square.

Unnoticed, Theodore’s statue had stood there for a long ti, just as it was at the beginning, still raising his Magic Wand, with a gentle look and a smile, as if encouraging his descendants.

Carved below the statue were his words and a signature.

— Theodore Clent, the greatest Spell Talent, the noblest teacher, the most passionate man.

Rod fell silent for several seconds in front of the statue. Theodore had brought him so much. Without him, Rod couldn’t have grown so quickly, and the Holy Fire Project couldn’t have co this far.

He even broke the laws of the Dream Realm to leave this unique statue in the square.

Theodore once said that he would return when the stars ca back, but now, Rod felt that the likelihood was very slim. The statue might just always be a statue, a proof that Theodore once existed.

Sigh.

Rod let out a soft sigh.

He placed Lily’s ashes beside Theodore’s statue.

To eternally accompany the teacher she most revered would be a consolation.

The Book of Knowledge said, "Master, the Eternal Statue needs three Elents: Colorful Dreams, traces of her existence, and plenty of Humanity and Spirituality."

Rod nodded. The ashes were the traces of Lily’s existence and also the foundation of the Eternal Statue.

"Pour Colorful Dreams into the ashes, then trigger the power of Eternal Square. The statue will construct itself."

Rod followed the instructions, and the ashes rose from the ground, circling next to Colorful Dreams. Humanity and Spirituality flew out of the Obelisk and joined the mix.

A blinding white light burst forth, making Rod squint his eyes.

About a quarter of an hour later, the flow of Humanity and Spirituality ceased, the light fell, and a new statue appeared before his eyes.

It was Lily. She was holding up her dress, with a charming smile, as if playing in a garden. There was not a hint of pain, fear, or sadness on her face, only happiness.

Beneath the statue, a line of text written in the language of dreams:

"I no longer despair, for the withered flowers will not take root and sprout anew, and what remains of still has a myriad of ways to bloom."

— Lily of New Cilia, Avatar of Destruction, Maiden of Ruin, wishing only to be a girl in her dreams.

Rod stood in front of her statue, observing a mont of silence.

The Book of Knowledge said, "Master, this is an Eternal Statue within the rules, it has recorded all traces left by the existence once known as Lily and gathered them together, becoming a Guardian Spirit of dreams. It can be activated with 25 points of Divinity to summon her spirit to fight for us."

"However, please be aware that you cannot use it frequently. The probability of the traces will tend to beco infinitely large, and ultimately, we will lose her forever."

Rod fell silent for a mont, then asked, "Book, is there a way to summon Theodore’s spirit together with hers?"

The Book of Knowledge denied, "No, Theodore’s statue is outside the rules, its awakening is an unknown factor. Generally, living Eternal Statues tend to move, but this one has not changed its posture at all after such a long ti, I suspect there is no hope."

Rod sighed.

"Well, I hope that when the invasion cos, I will have enough Divinity to awaken Lily. Her Chaos Fire might help burn the Soul Devouring King to death."

The Book of Knowledge reminded, "Do not place all your hopes on the Guardian Spirits, the Eternal Statue has gathered all traces of its existence, theoretically, the spirit it summons should be the strongest state it once reached, or could possibly reach. But I cannot see through this powerful being; how strong her spirit truly is remains an unknown factor."

Rod fell silent for a mont, then turned to leave. He wondered if it was an illusion or not when he felt a montary smile from Theodore’s statue as he turned his head, but on closer inspection, there was no change.

Was it an illusion?

Rod did not dwell on it, as more thoughts occupied his mind.

The fragnt of the dream here was already complete; it only contained two small Fragnts—the part of the soul of the Book of Knowledge, the Dream Factory.

So far, the Book of Knowledge did seem a bit smarter, but whether it will be reliable in the future is still to be observed.

The Dream Factory was indeed a miraculous creation. It had used up all the Nightmare and Nightmare Fuel Rod had obtained from the previous two invasions. It created two Colorful Dreams that were very useful, one repaired the Divine Mirror, and the other created the Eternal Statue.

The harvest was fruitful, but the problem was, Rod’s power had not increased.

His Spiritual Energy had not changed at all, still stuck in the first half of the Eleventh Level.

Rod was sowhat worried now, and he also noticed that the Book of the Future seed to have entered into so sort of betting agreent with Asada, constantly muttering or bickering with each other.

Although he hadn’t found anything suspicious, the not-so-reliable Book of Knowledge always left him feeling a bit uneasy.

Sigh!

Why hasn’t the Primordial Soil been found yet!

Under the control of the Book of Knowledge, the Dream Realm had already changed course; within the Light Country, its main task was to acquire this fragnt of the dream. After successfully obtaining it, it was inappropriate for the Dream Realm to continue staying in the Light Country.

Next, it planned to find the other remnants of the ancient god Heragotos, the god of reborn flesh and blood. Its remaining spirit had once told them that it still held onto a portion of power, and by completely destroying its remains, they could obtain this power.

The Book of Knowledge believed this might be so Demi Divine Artifact or the bane of Black Fog, which might be useful during the next invasion.

Based on current clues, it might be in the northwest of the Light Country or the southern part of the Chaotic Sea. The Book of Knowledge planned to search there for more clues.

However, it seed this was not a matter that could be resolved in a short ti.

Moreover, even if it found them and killed the remnants of the ancient god, it couldn’t grow stronger.

Rod was quite frustrated. The speed at which he acquired Divinity had plumted drastically in recent days; both King and Delin were very strict, forbidding all First Level Combatants and below from participating in any battles related to Starry Sky City, no exceptions.

If this continues, he seriously doubted his ability to partake in the Battleground of the Stars.

However, just at this ti, an unexpected ssage returned to the Royal City.

"Grizzly Hills, Wind City, requires Rod’s support."
