Yasaka and Kunou arrive at their ho with a face full of smiles. When they arrive, one of her bodyguards bows to her and says.

"Welco back, Lady Yasaka."

"Is there anything I should have known when I was away?"

Karasu Tengu nods his head and gives her a piece of paper.

"Lady Serafall ca here last to formally request an audience with you."

While they can use phones and magic to ask for an audience, it is considered rude. The supernatural world prefers the traditional way in formal etings, especially the people in Asia. The higher Gods in China will smite you if you dare to call them using magic to ask for an audience.

Yasaka nods and takes the letter. She reads them for a minute and says.

"I will write the invitation. Tell the head servant to prepare a feast to welco her."

"Of course, my lady."

"Anything else?"

"Yes. The head of the Shadow Agents wants to know if you are available to et her."

"Really? Now?"

"She did not want to rush you but preferred if you could et her imdiately."

"I see. Send her in. I will et her now."

"Of course."

Yasaka continues to walk to the eting room while Karasu Tengu disappears into the shadows. She enters the eting room and places the goods she has been holding the entire ti.

The box on the table is the food Ryan made this morning. While it was not as good as her personal chef, it had the feeling of ho she longed for.

When she opens the box, she takes the onigiri inside and then eats it. As she expected, the filling is not as good as the one her chef makes, but it has a sensation that her chef cannot make.

She eats three of the onigiri before she hears soone knocking on the door. Yasaka opened up a scroll and put the box on it. She creates a few hand gestures, and suddenly the box disappears into the scroll.

She wipes her mouth and says.

"Co in."

Yasaka can see a mouse youkai enter the eting room when the door opens. She can see the mouse Youkai sniff the air for a second and says.

"Is that cheese?"

Yasaka can only sigh and say.

"Yes. It was my breakfast."

"Fufufufu~ Is that from your new mate? I can sll him from here, you know?"

Yasaka can only smile at her oldest friend and trusted ally.

"Yes, Haruka. He already marks as her woman, and the only thing is to make it official."

"Fufufufu~ Congratulations, my lady."

This is Seal, the equivalent of Rune in the western part of the world. Just like runes, Seal can be expanded limitlessly as long as you have enough fuel and creativity to make it work.

Among them is this seal that makes sure not a single person knows what is discussed inside the do. Even Gods need quite a bit of their power to pierce through this seal, and the caster will know the attempt to breach the seal and can stop talking about their secret.

"Yes. Last week, one of our n who stay in the Naberius territory saw sothing disturbing,"

Haruka takes out a stack of paper from the scroll on her belt and lets Yasaka look at them. The leader of the East Youkai looks at the paper on the table and frowns. Her frown gets deeper and deeper the longer she looks at the paper on the table.

The paper shows her mostly a picture of soone, but that picture shows sothing disturbing. What is in the picture is the photo of Verlion Naberius, the previous Lord of the Naberius clan and the one supposedly still in jail according to the four Satan.

"Are you sure this is real?"

"Yes, my lady. The agent in that area is a hundred percent sure of the authenticity."

"That ans Satan cannot be trusted with this simple task. The Devil Race looked down upon us long enough. I think we should do sothing about this. Contact Nurarihyon and tell him about this situation. Tell him this is the ti to ensure the Naberius Clan is gone. Tell him I want a eting to discuss this situation."

"Of course, my lady."

"Good. Go."

After she says that, the barrier disappears alongside Haruka.

I look at the people running around this part of the campus. Did sothing happen?

I look to the side and see Yuki and Karin walk toward .

I smile at them, and the three of us walk to the training ground. While walking, I decided to ask them sothing.

"Do you guys know about what is happening? The people here look really busy. Busier than usual."

Karin looks at and says.

"Do you rember when I said that the devil will co?"

"Yeah."

"And they will co now. There will be a eting later this evening. The people here look busy because so of them will be called to the palace. I hear Lady Yasaka wants so of the professors to co with her."

"Do you know who will co?"

"I don't know that. However, I have a feeling it will be the head healer and one more professor."

"I see."

I guess I can see why she will be called. The head healer is a great healer. She is a real doctor with an actual degree and certificate to prove it. Not only that, her healing spell is excellent. She has taught since the principal learned about my healing power.

"En! She will be a great help in case sothing happens in that eting. Anyway! Can we continue our training, Ryan? Senjutsu training."

"Co this evening, and we can continue our training. If you continue your progress, I will let you do it in your ho."

I think staying in my ho is the right choice with the eting going on. I know DxD and that getting involved in any business with the devil is a bad idea. This generation's devil is a trouble magnet, and I don't want to get myself involved.

It has been a rough couple of months for . I lost my job, my house, and even my laptop. I'm broke and live from one paycheck to another.

I had a new job coming up, but I did not have a ho to sleep. Right now, I'm sleeping inside a mosque that is kind enough to let sleep as long as I take care of the place.

I'm writing this on the phone, which I only have with after I sell most of the things I have to survive.
