On the muddy road leading to Twilight City, a peculiar procession was moving slowly.
At the forefront of the convoy was Thomas's trade caravan, dozens of wagons filled with goods and carriages carrying people were slowly moving. Whereas behind the convoy, a procession composed of thousands of ragged refugees was also silently advancing.

Beside him, the young rcenary nad Ben suddenly spoke with excitent.
"I've got a premonition."
"Oh, what sort of premonition?"
Looking at his uninterested companion, Ben spoke with an air of mystery.
"Our 'Nun' Miss, indeed Miss Carian, might really be carrying sothing special!"
Carrying sothing?
The rcenary paused, then laughed, speaking in a mocking tone.
"Don't be ridiculous, she fled from Eagle Rock Territory, even if she hadn't committed blasphemy, was there anyone good there?"
He actually had another half of a sentence left unsaid.
If he were Saint Sis, he'd consider it lenient to rely kick her to Hell to repent, let alone entrust the sacred mission on her.
Though the priests of Twilight Province may seem sparse, that's relative to its vast area, overlooking those farmlands and woods, there are still plenty in castles and churches.
Even disregarding these practical factors, she's just a big-breasted airhead, even a bit of a fanatic peasant girl.
She might not even be aware of what she's doing.
However, Ben was different; having been aided by Carian, he held this kind-hearted maiden in high regard.
"I know all that you said, but aren't we alike in coming from there? Who dares to claim absolute purity in this world?"
The rcenary chuckled.
"I don't have ti to discuss philosophy with you, I'm more interested in what dinner is tonight."
"This isn't a philosophical question!"
Ben looked at him solemnly, voicing the thrill in his heart with unprecedented seriousness.
"Could we be bearing witness to a new legend! Not in the mouths of minstrels, but right before our eyes!"

The rcenary smirked, his smile playful.
The word indeed sounds formidable, but alas, it can't turn into bread nor is it worth a few copper coins.
anwhile, in a moving carriage of the caravan, Thomas, the caravan leader, was peeking through the window slits backward.
Looking at that ever-extending procession, he felt a headache, eventually couldn't help but sigh.

If it weren't for the stack of thick accounting books before him, he'd nearly forgotten he was a rchant.
Thomas's thoughts drifted back to that afternoon a few days ago.
