Seeing no escape, Jean could only grit his teeth and turn to fight, two sturdy arms splitting from his shoulder blades to grab the short sword and knife for defense!

Seeing the Sword Saint standing atop the sand dune, his pupils shrank sharply, but then relaxed as if relieved.
So, this is the domain of a Demigod.

Before the Dwarf artilleryn could react, Ratn warriors clad in cloaks leaped out from the pit, catching the Dwarves utterly off guard!
Unlike ordinary short Slave Rats, these Clan Warriors stood over a ter tall and were blessed by the "Gluttonous Rat" Geluo, with waists even thicker than the Dwarves!
Against these Dwarf artilleryn who were inept at close combat, they suddenly gained the upper hand.

A Clan Rat Warrior bared its bloody maw, emitting a foul-slling rage, swinging its long-handled hook scythe furiously to bisect a Dwarf artilleryman!
Entrails scattered all over the ground!

Behind the feasting Slave Rats, a Mouse Priest wearing a human bone mask stepped forward with a bone staff, shaking a human skin rattle while chanting eerie, obscure spells.
Ghostly green Soul Fire grasped the necks of dozens of Slave Rats like the hands of the Undead.
Using the flesh and blood of these Slave Rats as sacrifices, a three-ter-long "War Giant Rat" charged out from the blood-soaked altar, flinging the Dwarf artilleryn who tried to form a shield formation with a single lunge.
