Now reading: Chapter 736 - 243: Fracture (Part 4) from The Lord Demon King is Unfathomable!, a Action novel by Morning Star Ll.

Compared to those who add fuel to the fire, those who start the fire are obviously more despicable.

Compared to exploiting his own Demon King, what Sirron dislikes more are those Nobles who recklessly wield the power in their hands. They make deals with Humans, using the blood of the Demon God's followers as stakes, completely forgetting the obligations the Demon God entrusted to them when granting them authority.

General Sebes must face the deserved punishnt.

Including the Dragon family standing behind him.

Of course, he is a demon who knows how to adapt to circumstances.

If the Dragon family ultimately wins, then he'll pretend he never thought about it.

However, he is more inclined to another outco.

Not only because the Demon King, raised by the Temple, naturally engenders goodwill, but also because the Dragon family has proactively struck twice yet failed to make any significant progress.

It's well-known that the more complicated the plan, the easier it is to expose flaws when facing unexpected events.

The Dragon family seems to hold the initiative, but the advantage might not be in their hands.

Perhaps even the Demon God could not bear to watch it anymore.

While Sirron and Morria were chatting idly, a tense demon with the rank of centurion walked over to them, swallowed nervously, and spoke in a hushed tone.

"Honorable Mr. Judger... My officer wishes to et with you. He says there are matters he wants to discuss privately with you, but it's not convenient for General Sebes to know."

Sirron raised his eyebrows slightly, imdiately displaying a benign smile.

"Oh? Please convey to him that I am very welcoming. How about discussing it in my carriage? There, no outsiders will hear, nor will there be any interference from others."

The demon officer nodded cautiously.

"That's also my officer's intention... So, I'll see you later."

Sirron nodded.

"I will be waiting for his arrival."

As he watched the demon officer depart, Morria looked at Sirron in surprise, a glimr of excitent flashing in his eyes.

"Is this opening a breakthrough?"

Sirron smiled faintly.

"Who knows... But it might indeed beco an opportunity."

In any case, we'll know when the person arrives.

...

The dark night enveloped the frontline camp, the distant howl of wolves mixed with the crackling of burning campfires, sounding piercingly sharp in the silent darkness.

The shadow of defeat still lood over the entire camp, soldiers were silent as if in fright of cold, occasionally exchanging glances during patrols among the low-ranking officers of the Red Fla Legion, but no one dared to say anything, as if they weren't in Hell but trapped in enemy lines.

Balrog wrapped his cloak tightly, head lowered as he moved steadily and cautiously through the paths between tents. His heart was beating fast, the Fla Crystal pulsing anxiously, but his face showed no signs of abnormality.

He had observed for a long ti, and only after confirming no soldiers were tracking him did he quicken his pace into the Truth Departnt Guard's camp, quietly approaching a carriage.

Two Abyss Knights stood silently, their black armor reflecting the cold gleam in the firelight. They did not obstruct Balrog, rely casting a chilling glance to confirm his intent.

"I'm General Sebes' Deputy Officer, with urgent information to report to... Lord Demon God," Balrog spoke in a low voice.

The Abyss Knight slightly tilted his head, and a cold voice promptly responded from inside the carriage.

"Co in."

Balrog took a deep breath, pushing aside the heavy curtain and stepping into the carriage.

The carriage's interior was dim, with only a small Magic Energy Lamp hanging at the top, casting a ghostly light.

Sirron sat on the opposite seat, his form cloaked in a red Judger's robe, his gaze still cold, devoid of emotional fluctuations. Senior Recorder Morria sat beside him, perusing a roll of ancient parchnt, the Magic Pen gliding over its surface, recording the progress of their investigation over the past day.

With the carriage door closed, the noise of the camp was instantly shut out, leaving only the heavy air inside the enclosed space.

Two gazes focused on him, Balrog took a deep breath, speaking softly in a hoarse voice.

"It was a windless morning, our artillery positions already deployed on the high ground north of Seldo Port, 20 Magic Crystal Cannons blocked all dead angles from the port to our positions. Even the demons with empty heads had no doubt the scales of victory had tipped in our favor, while the Humans of Seldo Port were fervently praying in the flas of doom."

"You're saying there's no way you could lose." Morria stared into his eyes, leaning forward slightly, probing the subtle motives.

Balrog was silent for a long ti, then nodded slowly.

"We have no reason to lose; the Imperial warships don't even dare approach Seldo Port, only landing at a temporary harbor far away. Their line infantry advanced toward the hills, and I could clearly see their faces filled with despair, like they were marching to their deaths... But what I want to ntion isn't these, but an incident that occurred before the battle started."

He hesitated for a long ti, finally swallowing his saliva, revealing the story he had suppressed in his heart for so long.

"At that ti, I was playing chess with General Sebes. He usually focused intensely, but that day he seed sowhat distracted. Especially later, after he won against , he suddenly said sothing that I still can't understand."

Morria's pen paused, his brows slightly furrowed.

"What did he say?"

Balrog took a deep breath, recalling what Sebes said at the ti:
